Chapter 28 continuation

'Hailey, it's time to get up, you've got a long road ahead,' the guy explored her body with his hand, stroking over the top of the blanket.

The guy was obsessed with Hailey.

He did not want to give it away, but there was no other choice.

'Where?' Hale muttered softly, burying her face in the pillow.

'It's a surprise, angel.'

The young man tossed the covers aside, giving the girl a longing look. She was incredibly beautiful. Her slender body shivered from the unexpected cold, and Mackenzie grumbled something under her breath.

The young man carefully walked his palm along his bare leg, feeling the softness and tenderness of the skin under his palm.

The girl lay in a white T-shirt and pink pajama shorts, feeling warm from a man's hand. She was comfortable, but after a minute the thought came to her mind that the palm was completely different, more rough.

Hailey opened her eyes, getting out of bed quickly enough. Now she was standing by the window on the other side of the room, hugging herself.

'What is it, angel? What are you afraid of?'

She looked at him with dumbfounded eyes, not knowing what to expect from this man.

'What are you doing here?'

'Foster sent me here.'

The young guy got up from the bed, slowly approaching the girl. He was undeniably handsome, but too weird for Mackenzie, which scared the hell out of her. He reminded her of someone she couldn't remember from her past life.

'Don’t come near me, I don’t believe you,' the voice trembled treacherously, and the girl moved away from the wall with every step to be further from him.

'He asked me to take you to a certain place.'

The guy stopped near the brown-haired woman, looking at her with brown eyes that seemed black.

'I'm not going anywhere with you, Joe.'

He raised his hand, gently touching the woman's face. The young lady turned her face away, closing her eyes. She didn't like his touch.

'Then I'll have to use force.'

The girl prepared to escape, pushing the guy away from her, after which she ran across the bed to the exit. No sooner had she landed on the floor than a firm grip around her ankles knocked her off her feet, causing the brown-haired woman to fall back onto the bed.

'James! Help! James!' The girl screamed with all her might, trying to fight off the man.

Joe pressed his body on top of her, covering her mouth with his hand.

'Don't scream or I'll hurt you, angel.'

The girl turned in bed, trying to throw off the guard. With his hand, he pressed her hips against the mattress, trying to complicate her actions.

'No one will hear you. Your Foster will not come running to you, they are all in the left building. You don't have to try.'

Hailey hummed, trying to say something, but nothing came out. She stopped, losing all her strength. Tears of helplessness appeared in my eyes.

'I'll remove my hand if you promise not to scream.'

The brown-haired woman nodded in agreement.

'Joe, please don't give me to Foster. I know who you are.'

'I can't, baby. I don't want to do it either for my own reasons, but I don't have a choice.'

'You do understand that I will tell everything to James when he picks me up?' Mackenzie said with heavy breathing, trying to convince the guy not to make the wrong decision.

'If you just remember me. I know how to make a person lose his memory.'

He stood up from the girl, lifting her up with him. With a light push, he pushed her against the wall, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. The young man turned his chin towards himself with his fingers, immediately touching her soft lips with his lips. He kissed the girl with force, enjoying every second.

How he wanted to feel her again.

'Goodbye,' Joe whispered, taking her head in his hands and then slamming it hard against the wall.

Hailey screamed, instantly limp in the boy's arms.

Nathan was dressing in a hurry, getting ready to leave the apartment. He cleaned himself up by standing in front of the mirror. The brown-haired man smiled tightly, trying to return the former sparks to his eyes.

'Smile, Nathan, smile,' taking the keys, he left the apartment, going to the meeting place.

There was silence in the left hull, except for Foster pacing back and forth, making a rumble with his boots, trying to come up with the last move of the plan.

Tyler inspected all the papers, running his fingers over the blueprints. An idea popped into his head and he quickly picked up a pencil, drawing a few strokes.

'We will be divided into three teams. 'State' is ours, they can be trusted. Oliver is dead, they no longer have a leader, now it's you,' he looked at James, smiling slightly. 'We'll surround them. The 'State' guys will go through the main entrance, the second team on the left and the third team on the right.'

'We'll take them down, but Williams certainly has his cards,' agreed Ron.

'We should have a fallback.'

James walked over to the table, glancing at the map.

'Collect all street gangs. We need a lot of people and weapons to beat my father.'

'What about the crash?' Steph asked.

'He won't. Trajan has been making bombs since morning. Our fallback option is blowing everything to hell.'

Evans sat in the car, nervously tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. The man was already 10 minutes late, which made Nathan think that the meeting might not take place. The guy got out of the car, pulling a red Marlboro pack and a lighter from the pocket of his leather jacket. The brown-haired man leaned against the car, lighting a cigarette. He took a deep breath, exhaling tobacco smoke slowly outward. Looking at his wristwatch, the young man decided to wait a little longer.

Hearing some noise from his right side, Evans inhaled, then turned his head towards the sound. A tall guy walked through the back gate, which was not the main one, but rather, as a spare one, carrying an unconscious girl over his shoulder. Her loose hair hung along with her hands along the body of the guard, swaying from side to side, while Joe held her ass with his hand.

Nathan tossed the cigarette to the ground, stepping on top of it with the toe of his boot to put it out. He opened the back door of the car, meeting his business ally.

'You could at least dress her,' the brown-haired man remarked, taking the girl into his arms. He placed her in the back seats, brushing her hair out of her face. 'You didn't kill her, did you? Mackenzie is bleeding.'

'It was necessary to somehow pull her out of the case, I just knocked out her memory. Relax. Will wake up soon.'

'You can live in peace for now, I'll tell Mr. Williams Foster what you did for him.'

'Now get out of here, Nathan.'

'Forget it all, if anyone finds out about this, I'll kick the crap out of you. Good luck, Joe,' Evans slammed the back door, getting into the front seat.

He started the engine of the car, leaving the place with speed.

The guy had been driving for quite a long time, but the girl had not woken up, which made the young man nervous that she had died.

After all, if Williams Foster were brought dead girlfriend of his son, he would be terribly angry.

She is the main hook to the heart of James Foster.

Hailey groaned in pain, having no control over her body. Every action was too difficult for her. Evans turned his head back, calming slightly.

'Hello, doll.'

'Nathan,' the girl croaked. 'Foster warned me not to mess with you.'

'He was right, though.'

Mackenzie gently touched the back of her head, then brought her fingers to her face, noticing the dark crimson blood. The head was splitting into pieces, bringing terrible discomfort and pain. She slowly got up, sitting on the seat.

'I feel bad, Nathan.'

'Me too.'

'No, I am not joking. Stop the car. I'm sick.'

'Damn,' the guy stopped at the curb, getting out of the car.

He walked around the car and opened the back door, letting Hailey out. The girl got out, immediately staggering out of the blue. Evans grabbed her around the waist to keep her from falling.

'Let go, let go,' the brown-haired woman became agitated, moving a little to the side and kneeling down on the grass.

The guy came up behind her, pulling her hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face.

Mackenzie immediately turned inside out several times in a row. When the urge to gag ended, she got to her feet and staggered after Nathan. He placed her on the seat, leaving her bare feet on the ground.

Taking out a bottle of water from the glove compartment, the young man held it out into the hands of the girl.

'Rinse your mouth,' he left again, returning this time with wet wipes.

Evans pulled one tissue from the pack, squatting in front of Hailey. He wiped dirt off her knees, which he did with her feet afterwards.

'Please, let me go,' the girl whispered softly, looking down at the brown-haired woman. 'Why do you need me?'

'I work for Foster's father, not his son.'

'What will happen to me now? Will they kill me?'

'You should ask Foster. Get in,' the guy closed the door behind the girl, himself sitting in the driver's seat.

'James needs to feel the pain I feel,' Evans muttered as he started the car.

'What are you talking about?'

'What is not clear here? He killed Dean!' Nathan snapped. 'Didn't you know about it?'

'Oh, he couldn’t,' the brown-haired woman with a red tint of hair was confused. 'When it was?'

'Yesterday at 3 pm.'

'But he was with me!' Hailey protested, looking at the reflection of the guy in the mirror.

Foster left the port hull, lighting the cigarette between his lips along the way. All thoughts were about revenge, which warmed the soul. Tomorrow they will either fall like pathetic dogs or rise to the throne like kings.

Tobacco smoke came out of his mouth, disappearing into the air. A sharp look darted at the movement, and the head turned in the same direction. The tall guy with quick steps walked away from the back gate, heading back to the right building.

'Joe?' James called out, beckoning him to him.

The young man looked back at the voice, rolling his eyes in surprise. Foster shouldn't be here this early.

'Did you want something, Mr. Foster?' The guard asked in a puzzled voice, coming closer to the blond.

'What did you do there?'

'There was a noise outside the gate, and I went to check if everything was in order.'

'Okay, Joe. I want to ask you for one favor,' James said, pulling, and then exhaling smoke outside.

'I'm listening to you.'

'Bring Hailey into my bedroom,' Foster ordered, dropping his cigarette on the ground and stomping on it with his boot.

He walked past the guard towards the right building. Joe closed his eyes, running his hands down his face.

'Damn, not now, please.'
