Tia
I heard voices in the distance, it became louder and louder,that was my mom's voice. The first thing I saw when my eyes opened was the white ceiling. I remembered I was in the hospital ,how I got here and what happened.I lost my baby ,my second child, our child.
“ Tia , sweetie I'm sorry ”. Mom was next to me , Tatiana and Mel were standing there. I looked to my right and Elizabeth was sitting next to me ,holding my hand.
“ You drank my tea Didn't you?”. She lowered her head.
“ Yes ,I just . I care about you, we all do and I just did it without thinking ” ,she answered quietly.
“ What are they going to do if something happens to you? I care about you too but next time don't be so reckless please . What time is it ?”. How long was I asleep for?.
“ It's almost five in the afternoon”. Mel said. I slept all day.
“ Tia asking her not to look out for you won't stop her”. Mom said .
“ Who did it ?”. I saw the looks that passed between Mel and Tatiana.
“ Mel ?”
“ Alyssa paid someone To poison you?” ,I figured she was behind it. I was more worried about what Dominic did.
“ What did he do ?”. I asked, looking at them they were quiet.
“ Mom ,what did Dominic do , he didn't kill anyone did he ?”.
“ He beat the shit out of him then pulled a gun on him . No he didn't Kill him “. Tatiana replied ,I saw Elizabeth shaking her head.
“ That boy has given me many sleepless nights since he was a teenager. He's your problem now “. The doctor came in along with Marcus ,he walked over to me.
“ How are you feeling? You scared us . Both of you “.
“ I'm okay Dad ,where is that son of yours?” He looked at the others.
“ They already told me ”. I said looking him in the eyes.
“ He left ,said he was going somewhere,that was maybe three hours ago, he'll be here soon. Tim, how's my wife and daughter in-law ?”.
He came over to me and checked on me.
“ I'm sorry for what happened,there wasn't anything I could do. She'll need to stay overnight because she had most of it in her system but Elizabeth is fine her blood work came back clean so she can leave ”.
“ Dad take them home , Mel and Tatiana will stay with me until he gets here. And mom please take care of her”.
I looked at Elizabeth, “ You're to listen to my mother and Allie if you don't then I'll be mad at you”.
“ Okay I'll listen to them “. She said smiling.
“ Don't worry sweetie, I'll take care of her”.
After they left Tatiana and Mel sat down.
“ How pissed was he ?”.
“ Shit Tia , I've never seen a man react that way “.
“ I've seen him worried and panicked but never like that,it was as if he wasn't there and the detective just left him”. Tatiana said. The door pushed open and he walked in. He didn't look at me.
“ Well Dominic is here , we'll see you tomorrow okay and be careful Tia ”.
“ I Will ”. After they left he just stood there,what was going on in his head.
“ Dominic come here”. He walked over to me and sat in the bed. He still didn't look at me. I held his hand “ Dominic look at me “
I knew without a doubt he had been crying
“ Are you still angry?”.
“ Yes but not at you love. I'm sorry Tia if I knew She was like that. I just”.
“ It's okay Dominic, this isn't your fault. You know the minute my eyes opened and I heard you say it. This is my second child I've lost because of her. Yes I messed with her but not in the way that she's trying to kill me. I've thought about it and it doesn't matter how long she's in jail for She'll always find a way to hurt me , she'll never stop and I'll always have to watch over my shoulder. Dominic I want something from you and If you don't give it to me I'll find someone else to give me “.
He immediately turned and looked at me .
“ Anything you want it's yours Tia”. He said, looking at me.
“ I want Alyssa Dead “. I said looking him in the eyes,“ It's me or her”.
“ Done” ,That was his only answer , he hugged me and we stayed that way.
I knew it was wrong of me but , I couldn't do this anymore if it made me evil then so be it. He told me where he went and what he told Rachel.
“ I'll try to convince Him to see her. I think Bennett brought some of your stuff ,go take a shower. And please don't think about it anymore, you're being distant with me and it makes me feel like I've done something wrong ”.
He caressed my face then kissed me.
“ Okay. I love you Tia, we'll be okay won't we?”.
“ I love you too Dominic and yes we'll be okay ”.
Dominic
Two days ago she left the hospital and was back home. I knew she was going to be worried and she knew Alyssa wouldn't stop . She didn't have a hard time convincing Collin to visit Rachel but her mom refused but she didn't give up. Tomorrow was their trial. We were heading over to see her now.
I let Ryan know and he told me he would be waiting for us. When we walked into the interrogation room,the woman sitting at the table wasn't the one I saw a few Days ago. If it was possible she looked even more frail.
“ You wanted to see me ?” , Collin asked
“ I'm Sorry but I didn't have a choice. I couldn't have let you be with her or Celia your grandmother would have killed her , just like Sandy”.
We were looking at each other.
“ Who is Sandy?”. Angela asked her
“ Collin's father Christopher, his first wife, I found out about it after she was diagnosed with cancer. I overheard her. She was the love of his life. I always wondered why she was so adamant that I marry him. He did the same thing you did , he ran away with her and she found them ,she Locked him away and had someone kidnap her she killed her. That day when I saw the two of you on the road ,I acted like I didn't see ,she almost bought it but she turned at the same time and she was looking at me to see my reaction”.
“ Why didn't you tell me ?”. Collin asked her
“ That day she called me to her room and warned me , That there was no place for love. It only makes you weak and that if you ever tried to do what your father did then she didn't need any grandson like that she would prefer to kill you. It was either I taught the girl a lesson or loose my son”.

“ When you ran away,I knew. I knew where you were. I sent Cyrus to watch you and to stop anyone she sent . I had Cyrus do whatever he had to ,so you would be okay. He would update me Once a week. I don't know how it happened but that day I saw Clayton he was her trusted security guard, he knew where you were. She told him to kill both of you”.
I went down on my knees and begged her not to do it , I would make sure you understood. She agreed on one condition: it was that I made sure to teach the girl a lesson she'll never forget. It's not like I didn't want you to be happy but I had no choice, He's my only child ,you would do anything for your child wouldn't you ?“. She said looking at Angela.
“ I would “.
“ I'm sorry, I shouldn't have listened to Alyssa,I truly am. So she is your daughter? ,She has your eyes”.
“ I don't have any right to say she's my daughter,I had no choice but to abandon them. If I wanted them to live I had to let them go “.
“ I'm sorry Tia , I'm sorry Angela I truly am”.
“ It's fine Rachel it's all in the past now”
“ It's fine with me too”.
We left Collin and his mother alone and waited outside. “ Would you do that Mom? ,if it was the only way you had to in order to keep Tia alive would you do it?”. I asked Angela.
“ Yes,As a parent you would do and give up everything and anything as long as it means your child stays alive”. She said
“ Tomorrow's the trial, do you want to go?”.
“ I don't, “ Angela said.
“ I'll go” She said, holding my hand. I looked at them.
“ I'm asking for your opinion,both of you. Should I have Allie try to get a lighter sentence for Rachel? ,it seems she's regretting everything now and is truly sorry”.
“ Yes ” , Angela was the first to answer,I looked at Tia.
“ Whatever mom wants”.
“ Okay “.
