Chapter 30
satisfied
Cherry choked on her breath, but she had her breath even before they all thought about it. It couldn't have been any better than the way it was felt.
"I love you," he said again when Cherry did not reply.
"... Ehhmm! Leo..." Cherry was stuttering and she couldn't have been any more beautiful in this state than she was right now.
Leo understood what it meant to stutter, and he did with his words, but only when it was in front of this woman, she seems to have a pulling force that can be any better with the way she keeps being a first-class distraction to him.
"You don't have to say anything, babe," he quickly added reassuring her.
This made the pain feel through her body, it couldn't have been any better, but then, Cherry released her breath, she hadn't realized she was holding it up until now. It was bizarre though, and even though it made her feel that way, she was still going to let it get better.
"But I need to say something," the young lady said sweetly.
Leo softened up hearing those words, and he claimed to be as adamant as she is.
"No, you don't. Especially when you don't have feelings for me," she said in the weirdest form.
It couldn't get any better now, Cherry Hepburn's cheeks burned with heat as they turned bright red. That was just the weirdest thing that could happen, she gritted her teeth, it was like nothing she could face before, and tugging closer to his body, she warmed herself up.
"I have feelings for you," she spoke.
Leo Hanks froze, he knew he wanted her so badly, and although it might have sounded like a bad idea, well, that wasn't, he loves how sweet she is leading him on. If she continues in this light, then it might turn out to be agreeable, oh yes, and things wouldn't get any worse in case they have to break up.
Well, that reminds Leo of the fact he wasn't going to settle up with Cherry for just feelings, he wanted more, maybe love, it would make him the happiest man on earth just by knowing that Cherry loves him.
"How many feelings do to have for me, Cherry?" he asked sitting on the bed and shooting her that long side glance.
Cherry sighed. Deep down in her, she loves this man, she has always done so, but she wasn't just going to expose her secrets in such a lame way. Besides, she has to be sure if this is what she truly wants. It can't be any better that way.
Leo Hanks was more thrilled than terrified by Cherry's little pleasantries. It couldn't have been any better with him being on the lady's neck in that way. He leaned close to her as he grabbed her by the shoulder.
"Of course not, I am not a beast," he replied to Cherry letting her go on the spot.
A bright hue flashed through her cheeks and it caused him to back off.
"Go and do as I saw, darling, I will grab us our tickets," he said shooing her away.
Cherry was quick in obeying his instructions and as she went away, she made sure everything was okay.
Leo loves people obeying him, he was more than pleased to see that she is one of those people, it made his heart flush and he could barely be more than grateful for that.
That said, Leo paid their dues, got his shorts and a beach shirt, and went to the lobby to change. He had his other clothes in his hands and he placed them in the locker with the keys on it.
Walking out of the women's lobby, Cherry was surprised to find him waiting for her at the end of a stall. She walked over to him and they shared a small kiss.
"Hey babe," Leo muttered as he kissed the lady fervently.
He had watched her as she came out of the restroom, their eyes had met and he knew deep down in him that something locked Cherry's heart with him. It is amazing how that feeling even stretches out, but he does not care, at least, not yet.
"Hey! what's now?" the question just went on normally as she wanted to know?."Let us get some coconut juice, I hope you love the water," Leo said drawing her attention.
There was still much amount of daylight, and even from the horizons, there are no signs that dark was soon approaching.
"Okay, that is cool," Cherry said.
Since it was Leo's idea to come to the beach, he had brought the towels and that was it.
"I wish it could be more real than this," Cherry said to herself but was shocked when Leo replied to her.
"If that was supposed to be a private remark, I am sorry to tell you that I heard it," he spat out informing her.
She choked on her breath as she hadn't expected that. Her eyes even bulged out of their sockets but she was so lucky that she could control herself, which is very important, and more.
"Hahaha! that is true. Sorry, I am sharing my wild thoughts with you," the lady said apologetically.
They both lapsed in silence because they had arrived at a stall where they were selling coconuts.
"Good day, Mister, how much is a coconut?" Leo asked with a smiling face.
He gripped his hands tightly around Cherry's own as if she was going to disappear.
That was insane the major part of her challenge was to settle for the woman being his. Good enough, Cherry was being cooperative.
"Twenty-five cents, Sir," the vendor replied humorously.
It was strictly business he held out himself responsible for accepting other rights and also the fact that it could get more better and acceptable than these things, her heart melted more than anything she could find on earth.
"I want two, please," Leo said.
Their coconuts were cut and shaped, at the end, a straw was attached to it and handed to them. Leo paid the man and still holding hands with Cherry, he walked to a more secured part of the beach.
They spread out their towels and sat on them, facing one another.
"Thank you, Leo," she murmured as she sipped from her coconut.
It was delicious, and she shook her head herself to ascertain the truth. She loves good things, and nothing will stop her from appreciating good things.
That aside, Leo had a random thought in his mind, he was going to ask her about something and he expected to get a reply before they could leave this place today.
"Leo?" Cherry called out waving her hands across his face.
He blinked severally, not wanting her to know that something was wrong. Well, her mouth.
They stayed calm for a while, then Cherry spoke.
"I said thank you, but you did not respond because you seem so drawn to the cloud. I hope all is well," the young man said swiftly.
That apart, they kind of accepted the norms of a normal life, it will not be quite easy, but again, Leo felt like a fool, he almost wanted to slap himself for being this foolish and for letting himself go so noticed.
"My bad, honey bunch, I did not mean to ignore you. By the way, you are welcome," he said smiling dashingly at him.
Cherry smiled warmly, flashing her dimpled cheeks at the man. It made him chuckle seeing it as well.
"You are beautiful," he noted.
"Am I the only one or are you trying to locate me?" the question pulled out of her mouth so easily.
Leo was laughing now and so did Cherry. They looked like a sincere pair of lovers and that thought intrigued the lady so much. She was eager to know what that problem was, despite what happened, it couldn't be any better than what it is now.
"Okay, that is enough now, huh?" the young lady said rolling her eyes.
