Aaliyah's Pov

Why? Why is she here?! What is she doing here? And why does she look like that? She seems sad or something ? The distance from how he looked at me before?

'Aaliyah' she called my name.

'Why are you here?' I still politely asked her even though my heart was beating fast as I continued to descend the stairs to where they were.

'When I heard that you were coming home from the states, I immediately thought of going to see you. I've been wanting to talk to you for a long time but they don't give me your contact so I want to do it personally' she began.

'We have nothing more to talk about. Your son and I are done a long time ago' I told her directly.

It's Daniel's mom.

I don't know why she appeared to me again today? Why now? And what does she need?!

I see sadness in her eyes. And suddenly, che cried?!

Why?!

'W--why?' I asked her.

I looked at Lyca and Nik but it seems like they know what's going on.

'I'm so sorry Aaliyah' she said while her hands on my face.

It's like the sky and the earth have crashed. She looks different now than before. She's so simple right now unlike before she's so sophisticated and her aura is so heavy.

What's happening with her?,

'Bessy you need to know something. Now is not the time, but since aunt Amelia is here. You have to listen very carefully' began Lyca.

I can't stop the tears that flow down my cheeks one after another. I feel mixed emotions when I know the whole truth.

I clenched my fists. I just came back to reality when Daniel's mom suddenly spoke again.

'I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. At first, I really didn't like you. Daniel is my only child and what I want for him is that she also comes from a rich family for connections and will further strengthen him as his father's heir. I understand what she said. And I know she is hurt by the fate of his only child.

'I understand you ma'am, don't cry. You don't know that Trixie is that kind of person. We all don't think that she can kill someone for love' I told her to make her feel a little better.

She's so helpless.

'Everything is my fault. If I hadn't interfered in your relationship with my son in the first place, Liam would still be alive today, my first grandchild,' she cry even more because of what she said. But I can't stop it either. I started crying too.

Lyca was also crying while stroking my back.

Nik gave us all tissues.

'That's enough, everything will be okay. Let's forget what happened. The important thing now is that Trixie is paying for her livestock.' I said between crying.

I was surprised when she touched my cheek.

My heart suddenly throbbed when I suddenly remembered Daniel.

I didn't say anything after what ma'am Amelia said.

'Can I see and hug my granddaughter, before I even leave', she begged me.

'Yes, of course. Just a moment and I'll get her upstairs' I said and hurriedly went upstairs to get Lian.

Just a few moments later, I went down with baby Lian who woke up when I picked her up while she was sleeping.

I was just coming down the stairs when aunt Amelia greeted me excitedly.

..'My granddaughter' she was happy while looking at Lian. She was holding Lian's small hands.

I handed Lian to her so she could hug Lian too..

'she looks just like Daniel. It's like a female version, how did it happen? all of your children look like Daniel.. this is what Daniel looked like back then' she said in disbelief as she looked at Lian in disbelief.

"Yes ma'am Amelia.  Im the one who carry them in my womb for nine months, but i don't have one look alike" I said smiling to her. Even when she cries, she smiles because of Lian.

It took a long time before she said goodbye to leave because her flight to Canada is today. For the meantime, she said she wanted to cool off there. We immediately talked a lot, she had a lot of questions about baby Lian, advice, and more. In a short time, we felt at ease. She's very easy to talk to and she's very kind to me now than before.

I thought that because of the chaos that happened, she and Daniel's dad have already filed the divorce papers. It turns out that they have other personal problems and they haven't really been okay for a long time.

Just because they are the same public figure, and it's easy to be talk by the public, they chose to live in silent together.

'Be careful always.. Take good care of my granddaughter. Thank you.' she said smiling before getting into her car.

'You too. Be careful ma'am. Thank you. Have a nice trip.' I replied to her as I carried baby Lian. We took her outside.

'Be careful Aunt Amelia' said Nik

'Be careful' Lyca said with a smile.

'Thank you' she said smiling to us and completely closed the window of her car.

Nik and Lyca are still waving at her even though her car is far away. I was smiling while watching her car slowly shrinking in our sight.

That smile, little by little, disappeared.

'Bessy, please take care of Lian first, huh? I just have to go somewhere' I said to Lyca while hurrying inside to bring Lian to the room first.

'take her in my room!. Where are you going?!' she asked me quickly while following behind me.


'To Liam's grave.' I just told her so she wouldn't ask anymore.





Before I go see Liam today, I thought I'd go somewhere first.

My hands were shaking, as I waited for that woman's face. I went to her right here where she was imprisoned. That's what I heard Nik said earlier while they were telling me everything.

A lot of things come to my mind when I face Trixie now. Can I do it? can I deal with her normally now that I know she killed my son.

My eyes start to water. I calmed myself down because I saw the face of the woman I had killed several times in my mind before.

'Why are you here?' she smiled at me while sitting in the seat opposite me. She still has a high forehead even though he looks different than before. Far from the sophisticated woman she used to be, now she looks almost like dirt.

'Your clothes suit you' I said to her with a smile that insulted her entire personality.

She just smirked at me while her eyes were looking at me. There's only one thing I'm sure about these times. I just ruined her day. And this is where I feel relieved.

'And you, what happened was better for you. You lost the most beloved son, and the most beloved fiance' she said which made me feel so hot that I couldn't hold back. I stood up and gave her a couple of strong slaps. My eyes are almost glazed over her and if my glare could only be the cause of death, she would have been dead here right now.

She was holding her cheek which was very red because of the force of my slapped.

Suddenly, the jail guard who brought her here came to us in the visiting area.

I brought my face closer to her and then spoke.

'I will make sure that you will not get out of this very prison for the rest of your life. If you ever do, I will make sure that you will not breathe for even a minute when you are released. I promise you' my words will be emphatic and she knows I'm not joking that's why I see the fear in her eyes.

'Don't come back here again! I don't want to see your face!' she shouted at me. But I smiled at her crazily.

'Where do you want me to go back? To your daughter?' I even teased her for causing her to get crazy and make a commotion, but the jail guards were quick that's why even her fingernails didn't get close to me. I smiled at her so that she would get even more annoyed and think about my face every day until she went crazy.

'You're an animal!! Try to get rid of my daughter!!! I will kill you!! I will kill you!!' she yelled at me while she's been dragging out of the visiting area.


When she disappeared from my sight, that's when I showed weakness. I almost held my heart beating so fast because I wanted to do more to her than slap her. I stopped myself because of Lian.

That's when I released the tears that wanted to roll down my cheeks.

You're an animal Trixie. I can't forgive you! Just fucking rot in here!!
