Chapter Eighty-One

Chapter Eighty-One
Cassandra's POV

I now sat on the bed with all three of my mates staring at me, with varying degrees of worry on their handsome faces, despite the fact that I'd told them I wasn't sick.

I opened my mouth to speak, but Zachary blurted out his conclusion on why I was throwing up. "You have a tumor on your brain and have only six months left to life." Jordan and Levi both whipped their heads in his direction then slowly turned to look at me for confirmation.

I laughed, and shook my head. "No, there's no tumor and I will live much more than six months. I promise. Although...." I chewed on my bottom lip. "There is something growing inside of me." My heart was in my throat and I couldn't breathe properly due to how nervous I was becoming.

"You just said you didn't have a tumor." Jordan inched his way closer to where I was at the top of the bed. I nodded my head, there wasn't a tumor or even just the flu I tend to get every couple months or so. But I'm hoping it's happy news for them. As much as I didn't want this, and after confirming it. I couldn't be happier. Excited even. I just prayed they'd be as happy and excited as I was.

"I'm not sick—”

"But you've been vomiting." Zach interrupted once again. "There's—” Levi hit Zachary on the back of his head to shut him up and so I could explain.

xAs I've said, I'm not sick." I smiled and slowly moved my hand up to my belly and let it rest there. "But there's a reason I've been getting sick these past couple of weeks." I'd also nearly fainted a couple days ago, but I assumed that was due to be standing up from the floor too fast, and thankfully so did Levi who was with me.

"I went and brought a test the day before you left. I was just hoping to get it out of the way so I could figure out what was really going on before going to the doctor for real answers. But it turned out that one came back positive."

I removed my hand from my belly and reached into the nightstand and brought out three white and blue pregnancy tests and then placed one in front of each of my mates.

This brand didn't have lines like the ones I used to take. It was fancy and had digital writing on it telling you if you're pregnant or not pregnant. I bought two boxes, and the one yesterday morning I took was my first, but not believing what it said I took three more and nearly tossed something into the mirror when the fourth said the same thing the first three had. I ended up tossing that one in the trash. But now that it has been a full night to sleep on it my heart wants this. It wants to have a piece of them growing inside my womb. I don't actually care who the father was, the four of us would raise it together. This child would be bound to look like one more than the others, and because of them being brothers it could take after each of them, like it could come out with Jordans hair, Zach's eyes and Levi's curls. Who knows what could happen if they wanted to keep it.

"What's this?" Jordan furrowed his brows and picked up the test. He was holding it backwards and I had to stifle a giggle. "Turn it over." I murmured and twisted it the right way while he held it up.

Jordan's Carmel eyes widened and moved to me. His gaze flickered down to my belly and he pulled his bottom lip in between his teeth. There were so many emotions on his face and in his eyes that I didn't know which one to take as real. "You're pr,—"

"PREGNANT!" Zachary yelled and jumped up from his seated potion and on the bed in one swift motion. His brown eyes were glued to the pregnancy test in his hands. "You're pregnant!"

"Yes I am." I smiled bigger and my gaze soon fell on Levi who was silent. He might have been silent, but there were fresh trails sliding down his cheeks, and a smile on his lips as he held the proof of what I just told them. "I know it's not what we wanted, what you wanted. But it did, and I am. I'm sorry if this has messed up you plans of not wanting children." My bottom lips trembled some of the thought of them making me get rid of it, or me losing it.

"Cassandra, we only told you we didn't want any kids because that was always what you wanted. We had Silas, he has been the best thing, aside from you, to enter our lives." Jordan smiled when he was finished. "Baby if you'd decided to keep the baby you were carrying when we met, we would have loved that one just as much as we do Si. Anything that comes from you will always be welcome."

The breath I let out was so refreshing and tears filled my eyes before falling down my face, I didn't bother to wipe them away. Hearing that this wouldn't be an issue for us lifted so much weight from my shoulders and allowed me to finally relax since finding out.

"Besides," Zach clapped his hands together and wiggles his eyebrows. "now we get to find out whose simmers were the ones that got her knocked up. Levi's," he pointed his finger at my dark curly headed angel, whose eyes match the forest after it rained. Then he pointed at the man sitting before me. Jordan's golden hair and caramel like orbs that were swirling around in the sunlight as if flickered in from the windows behind me were boring into me as he let his brother continue with his speech. "Jordan's, or the one and only. Mine." Zach fell to his knees nearly knocking Levi off the edge he was on.

Levi got up and walked to the opposite side of me and sat just as Zachary leaned in, basically shoving Jordan out of the way. "You and I know how messy we could get. So I highly doubt they beat mine." He winked and then stole a kiss from me before I could react to his words. My face flushed with heat and glared at him when he moved back beside his brother. I wanted to hit him like I did the night he's speaking of. Before I couldn't remember who it was that was being so rough and loving with me the night the condom broke, but hearing him speaking about it made me remember.

For all he knows I was already pegged by one of his brothers, and if that's true. Well I still wouldn't care, and truthfully I know he wouldn't care either. I giggled softly and the glare I had on Zach switched from annoyance to love in a matter of seconds. "I don't care who it was that got the job done. I only care that it's healthy and happy."

"And a girl." Levi murmured. I turned to stare at him, he's never mentioned that. To know that they wanted kids of their own this whole time makes me feel horrible. But now that I'm carrying their future in my belly I can't seem to see past the joy I was currently feeling because of that. "I've always wanted a daughter." He admitted, a small smile curving his lips into a grin, his eyes moving from my flat stomach and up to meet my eyes.

"I'm sure Brooklyn would be able to tell us how having a girl is. Because I think those girls are her as a kid only tenfold." Zach chuckled.

My eyes widened a bit. "I haven't told Silas. What if he doesn't want a sibling, and what if they never bond due to the age difference?" I began to contemplate all the 'what ifs' now and it was making me feel nauseated once again.

"Hey hey hey." Jordan grabs my hands in his and makes me look at him. "Silas will be fine. He's old enough to understand. He isn't a kid anymore, he's a teenager who will not be mad at you for giving him a younger sibling." He gifts me his smile. "Besides he might actually enjoy being a big brother."

I could see it, but the unknown of how he would react when I tell him he'll be a big brother. I sighed and looked at him seriously, then over at Zach and Levi. "I'd like to wait. Until we know there aren't any risks."

"Risks? Baby you're healthy and so will this baby." Zachary said tenderly.

"I know that. I was also healthy when I lost the one I was pregnant with after I had Silas." I whispered.

Jordan's hands squeezed mine tighter. "You won't have to fear anything this time. None of us are going to physically harm you or this child." He released one of my hands, he moved it over to me and placed it on my flat belly. "Much like all the kids in this pack, it will be protected by every adult that comes near it. Or you. They would give their lives for you, Silas and now our baby."

My breath faltered some. As much as I don't like to hear what others would do for me and my son. It eases my hammering emotions that threaten to pull me under its dark abyss. My god if I'm getting overwhelmed by my emotions now, I wonder how I'll be reacting the farther along I get in this pregnancy.

"Thank you." I mumbled and forced the tears in my eyes not to fall.

Zachary leaned over between Levi at my side and Jordan in front of me. His hot breath whipped against the skin on my neck before his voice filled my ear. "I enjoy seeing you emotional. Want to see if I can make you susceptible to carrying twins? Triplets even?" My eyes fluttered closed at his dirty thoughts being spoken out loud.

"One is enough." I whispered, heat filled my body and coiled in my lower stomach with the way Zach is looking at me. He looked like a tiger stalking his prey, and that prey was me.

Goddess he can make me come without even touching me, and I'd allow it. I moved my eyes away from his piercing chocolate brown eyes so I could get out of bed and go make sure Silas was up for school.
