Chapter 92.

**Benjamin's POV.**

I went to the office and the day went passed so quickly. Stephanie will only be getting the position if she works hard at Carlene's party tonight, so at least one good thing happened today. I sat on the couch with my other phone waiting for another message from Sofia. I should really get more phones because I might just break this one also because of her messages.

"Hey love." Carlene who came in said looking at me angry. "You not ready?"

"The party is only after an hour and I only need five minutes so yes I'm not ready." I replied and quickly turned back to my phone still waiting for a message.

"Benjamin the party started an hour ago and you sitting on the couch as if it's not my birthday party." I looked at the time after she said that and she was telling the truth. We were running late but it's not my fucking problem.

"I'll go get ready." I got up and went to the bathroom. I took my time and when I came out of the room she was there already with a suit she decided for me to wear.

"I couldn't choose because there's so many beautiful suits you have but than I decided this one because it matches my clothes." I quickly nod after she handed me the suit and she quickly left the room.

I got dressed and after that I quickly looked at my phone for a message but there was still nothing.

Carlene and I left the house and the whole car ride she was talking about how Stephanie impressed her and for the first time she has someone who is a natural hard worker and doesn't care if she pays her. I just listened looking at my phone waiting for a message but nothing happened.

We got out of the limo and there were so many people ready to shoot pictures of us. I was so bored and Carlene kept complaining about me not smiling for the pictures but it wasn't my fault. They were taking too many pictures and I just didn't want it.

"You did it on purpose." She whispered as we started greeting the people at her party.

"I didn't." I said walking away from her to Carlos. "You came to her birthday party?"I was shocked and disgusted.

"I was forced. Layla wanted to come becaus---." Carlos was still talking when someone hit me on the head.

"I can't believe you Benjamin." Layla shouted.

"Tell your wife to not make a scene Carlos." I told Carlos but he shrugged his shoulders.

"Carlos may be my husband but he doesn't tell me what to do." Layla replied. "Now why did you break up with Sofia when she's pregnant?"

"I invited Carlos to my birthday party but I forgot his wife was a gold digger." Carlene said faking a smile. "I know you like attention Layla but don't try to get any at my party."

"You know what Carlene? I don't even want to me here anymore." Carlos grabbed Layla's hand. "Don't ever waste your invitation on me and by the way just because you rich doesn't mean you not a gold digger." Carlos left with Layla and Carlene looked at me angry.

"He is my friend you don't expect me to take side." I quickly walked away from her.

"She can never beat me with parties." Jay mumbled drinking. "Stephanie has been the best waitress all night." He added laughing.

"Let me guess. You the only one she serves." I said and he nod smiling."You didn't have to come to this boring party."I added.

"I know but I had to take my chance and annoy Stephanie." Jay replied as Stephanie came. "I send you to get me three drinks not one." He told her and she rolled her eyes.

"You already had two drinks, you can't get drunk Jay and plus on the way the other guest took the other drinks be grateful I saved you one drink." Stephanie whispered faking a smile.

"Can't you see I'm not drunk. I want another drink." Jay stated.

"You not drunk because I have been spatting on those drinks but now my mouth is too dry for me to--." Jay tried kissing her and Stephanie smacked him causing a scene.

"What the hell is going on?" Of course Carlene was the first to shout running to us.

"J--He tried to k--kiss me but you said--."

"Jay has needs Carlene and plus he said he would pay her for the night if she did what he wants." I said interrupting Stephanie.

"I thought you said you would be a good waitress for the night and a loyal maid to me." Carlen said softly. "Benjamin should I fire this useless thing."

"Yes." Stephanie looked at me shocked. "If she can't satisfy Jay how can she satisfy you." I added because I know Carlene and if I don't like someone she's going to like them.

"This is your first and last warning little girl so next time watch how you treat my guest. Now go get Jay a drink." Carlene left angry and Stephanie ran to get Jay a drink.

"You can't follow a simple rule Jay Jay." He smiled at my words and ran after Stephanie.

The night was going better than I thought. Carlene would just be happy about getting her compliments and presents and I just stood there not even eating because I was tired and worried about Sofia and my children.

Did they even eat?

I hope Sofia is taking good care of herself and our children.

"Come on Benjamin." Carlene said pulling my hand. "They going to be playing a slow song and everyone already have a partner." She added.

"I can't dance and I thought you said your birthday----."

"Benjamin everyone knows you the best dancer now come on love. It's my birthday." Carlene forced me and I gave up and agreed. Everyone was happy dancing and I just wished Sofia was here rather than her so I could also be happy for a moment.

-flashback-

"You embarrassing me." I whispered to Sofia who was stepping on my feet the whole time. Can she be good at one thing.

"I told you I can't dance or anything but you forced me." Sofia whispered faking a smile.

"Are you only good at annoying me?" I asked and she giggled. "That hurts." I almost shouting because she stepped on my foot.

"You annoy me more than I do." She replied acting angry. Who would have thought I would almost lose my foot on my wedding night. I know I shouldn't have made her wear heels.

"Benjamin you embarrassed me." Carlene whispered looking at me angry.

"I told you I can't dance." I was lying but she forced me to do something I didn't want.

"Just smile for the camera on our way out." She said as we walked out of the hall.

I was tired so I couldn't smile but of course she got more angry and started with her blackmailing again even thought it was too late. I got in the limo and acted like I didn't hear her so when she came in the limousine, I apologized and she quickly 'forgave me.'

I lay on my bed waiting for Sofia's message but I figured she wasn't going to message me. So I send her a message praying she didn't block me.

Me : how you? If you sleeping I hope you sleep well.

Sofia : The kids are good not that I'll think about your offer because you crazy.

I read her message and she just made me confused. What the hell is she talking about?

Me : And how you?

Me : What offer?

Sofia : Oh wow. Now you want to act.

I don't know if Sofia's jealousy is getting out of hand or if she is joking right now.

Me : I'm serious!

Sofia : I'm not choosing money over my children.

I blinked at the message she send me. Who the hell is selling my children.

Me : What? Who wants to buy our kids?

Sofia : lol you hilarious.

I rolled my eyes at how crazy she is. I hope she's joking.

Me : I'm serious Sofia. Who is buying the kids. I'm the father I have a right!

Sofia : Just like I have a right and you want to take away my kids.

I was shock at how she could think I would do that. I was raised better then that.

Me : I would never take away Elijah or our baby from you. You the mother Sofia!

Sofia : just because I refused your offer last night you thought you would make another plan and say sweet words to me. Ah! Benjamin Carson, I'm not falling for your games.

Me : I swear I never thought about taking Elijah or our baby from you. Sofia you know me better than that, do you think I would ever do that to you?

Sofia : I thought I knew you but you proved me wrong. Benjamin you capable of anything.

It broke my heart when she said that. I wouldn't mind if it was someone else that said those words but Sofia, the one I thought that loved me just as much as I love her just said it.

Me : I may be capable of anything but at least I'm not like you making up stuff. What prove do you have that I asked you to sell our children to me.

Sofia : Keep acting but I'll send you prove.

I waited and after a minute she send me a screenshot of our chats but it didn't make any sense. I swear I never send her those messages I left her and went to shower, last night.

Me : I didn't send it Sofia, I swear.

Sofia : you can blame it on anyone after all you Benjamin but I'm not a fool to believe you again after everything. I moved on so leave me alone, I don't have time for you.

I don't even know I was crying. She couldn't have moved on so fast, she can't just replace me in a such a short period of time. Didn't she love me? If she ever love me than why would she replace the father of her children.

Me : You don't believe me? Didn't you love me?

I asked and I waited for her answer. I would've never read it if it was something that would just break my heart. Her words made me almost kill myself, and honestly right now I don't feel like living.

Sofia : I did. I did love you more than myself until you broke my heart Benjamin and I'm not lying when I say this.

Me : say what?

I was so excited for her answer that I didn't know I would end my life because of it.

Sofia : Benjamin I would be so happy if you died. The way I hate you is worse than I hated Martin and you know it. I wouldn't even cry if your dead body was to be send to me. I would actually celebrate the fact an evil person like you left this world.

I would've never imagine Sofia would say that. I was speechless and crying definitely just made it worse. Would she really be that happy if I died right now even though I'm already suffering because I'm protecting her.

Me : You don't mean it.

I received a reply from Sofia and I closed my eyes praying but it definitely didn't help.

Sofia : I really mean it Benjamin.

Me : Take care of our children then, and don't forget to tell them I loved them more than anything. Goodbye love!

I got out of bed and stepped on my phone. I guess if she really wants me dead than at least I'll make her wish come true. At least she will be happy to see my dead body rather than me being alive.
