Chapter 129 - Enraged god

The roaring of Poseidon was so loud in their ears as they continued running as fast as they could. Jasmine and Jack’s powers are still limited in the land of the dead. The only way they would have easily gotten away from the enraged Poseidon is by disappearing and appearing in another location. However, they can’t since they can’t use such power.

However, they can still use their invisibility powers. Jasmine slackened her pace. She grabbed Jack as she quickly snapped her fingers activating invisibility.

“No!” Poseidon roared as he finally set his foot on the plain ground. Losing his target isn’t a thing to boast about. Never in his god life has he ever lost a target a few paces away from his reach.

It was just a matter of time for him to ram through Jasmine and Jack with his trident he has been spinning incredibly fast. With his eyes narrowed on the last spot he saw them last, he focuses his gaze. “Where are they?” he mumbled.

As the god of waters who dwells in the sea, he could easily manipulate water, storms, and lightning, able to create strong waves and violent storms to bring the rage of the ocean upon those who enraged him.

He sniffs into the air raising his trident towards the blue river, the river piled up. “Let’s see if you two will escape this!” Poseidon said casting his trident to the spot he last saw Jasmine and Jack. The blue river hovered and flowed down to the spot.

The blue river flowed with the sound and speed of a wave towards the spot Poseidon is channeling it to. Controlling water is part of his abilities; his control of water ranges from tidal waves and whirlpools to a watery construct in his image. This isn’t the time to control water in his image. He rather uses it against his enemies at this very time.

As soon as the blue river got to the spot, he froze the river. “Well, well, well,” he mutters as he hovered in the air with his eyes scanning around. He aims at freezing Jasmine and Jack together with the river.

Too bad his plan didn’t work. The couple is no longer at the spot they activated invisibility. “It worked,” Jack mutters.

“It did.” Jasmine glanced at Jack.

They were both standing 500 yards away from Poseidon still retaining their invisibility. Jasmine knew the type of powers Poseidon possessed. She was one of the demons led by Werewolf Overlord into the realm of the gods. There’s no way she’s ready to take chances without her full access to her powers. She has seen Poseidon fight and how ruthless he could be especially when provoked.

Poseidon has complete control over the element of water. He can control all the water in the world. Poseidon can breathe underwater as well since that’s where he dwells.

The power of Poseidon Jasmine has come across is his ability to generate and manipulate electricity. He used this power to drive Werewolf Overlord away from the realm of the gods forcing Werewolf Overlord to retreat with his demons His control over the seas and their storms account for Poseidon's electricity-based abilities. As a god, he is immortal and can live forever. Like his brothers and the other gods, Poseidon doesn't age and is not affected by time, only divine weapons, and other gods can kill him. Demons have tried to kill him but didn’t succeed.

When attacked he can propel or accelerate himself through the air with great speed and force.

As one of the best gods who aim at destroying evil and its source, Poseidon can grant powers to his mortal followers, to fight the demons when attacked. He also gave a good number of his followers a fraction of his powers for great resilience, allowing them to inflict massive amounts of damage to their enemies before death as well as the power to use the waters of the deep to aid them in battle by creating Walls of Water and even creating Sea Storms right amid battle without being near a source of water, with these waters they can heal themselves and allies. Poseidon also grants his followers the use of Cryokinesis, allowing them to create large spires of ice and even freeze opponents to crush them. This was what he attempted to do to Jasmine and Jack a few moments ago but didn’t succeed.

He could reform himself into a massive, elemental form resembling a 150 feet monstrous creature. This form, in his image, was entirely water-based, with rocks forming details on his chest and head. In this form, he is at his most powerful, with all of his powers and strength greatly augmented.

As the god of waters, Poseidon can teleport to anywhere via sea and water.

Poseidon was able to project an image of himself to communicate with his followers. His god form also primed his already great strength, allowing him to pound on hundreds of demons with great force during the battle in the realm of the gods.

When attacked by 30 demons at once, he was able to withstand attacks. Poseidon's energy and vigor in combat are far greater than that of demons, enough to fight as many demons as possible.

Poseidon has a higher jumping capacity than other gods. It is unknown if his agility was on par with that of Werewolf Overlord.

When in the waters of the deep, Poseidon is invincible and all of his attributes are multiplied greatly. However the farther away he is from the sea, the less of his "true" power he can exhibit.

In elemental form, below his waist, a large jet of water coming from a rock formation was maintained, with Hippocampi protruding out of it, which Poseidon used actively in his battle with the demons. He could also control them even without his elemental form. He can even use the Hippocampi as makeshift arms to battle the demons.

Jack held Jasmine by the hand. “He can’t see us, we need to keep going,” he mutters. He didn’t like the idea that Jasmine stops every two minutes to look back and see what Poseidon is doing. They should be getting as far away from him without looking back.

Being a powerful god that helped in stopping Werewolf Overlord’s invasion of the realm of the gods means one thing to Jack. ‘It’s just a matter of time and he will figure out where we are.’ Jack didn’t want this to happen. They can’t take on him without Poseidon lightning back in a more brutal way.

Poseidon isn’t giving up. He scans the entire place with his eyes searching for Jasmine and Jack. His countenances have changed. The blue water enveloped him with flashes of lightning as he pulls himself into flight with his trident.
