Chapter 19 THE PARTY IS STARTING!!.

Kitara had been waiting for Amaya all day, eager to learn more about the night before and the mysterious woman Tahat who would help her in her mission, whom she knew they would have definitely met before. As soon as Amaya arrived, she knocked on the door, and Kitara went to meet her outside. She couldn't contain her excitement and nervousness.

"It time for action Kitara" Amaya said

"Thanks, My Lady, but how is this going to work?" Kitara asked with a heavy heart; she knew their plan was perfect, but she wanted to be sure they were still going with it.

Amaya gave a small smile and replied, "You can come out now." Kitara looked around, confused, but saw no one.  Then, out of the shadows, a woman stepped forward.  Kitara gasped as she realized who it was.

The woman was one of the cooks who had tasted her cooking on her first day in the palace kitchen. It is the custom to recruit people based on their ability, so they have to examine all the recruitees in different aspects before assigning them a position. Kitara had been thrilled when everyone had praised her dish, but then she overheard some workers gossiping about her skills. They had said that she would never make it into the palace and that she should just give up.

"Have you noticed what a good cook she is?"  Firstcook said.

"Yeah, I do; she is definitely good—even better than our head chef," the second cook said.

"And that is definitely why she won't make it into this kitchen," the first cook said.

"Exactly, the head cook would want to maintain her position as the best cook and try to save face.  She will make a great complaint against her.  "It will just be better if she stops dreaming of cooking in this kitchen," the second cook said.

It was at that moment she knew her revenge wouldn't be as easy as she had speculated earlier.

But now, here is one of the cooks, standing before her and offering to help her out as a member of the palace kitchen staff. Kitara was amazed by how much the woman had changed.   She was confident, poised, and radiated a sense of power and authority.

As Zara approached the woman, she remembered her name.  Kitara.    Zara smiled warmly at Zara and said, "I remember you from the kitchen." You had such talent and potential, but you were so unsure of yourself. I wanted to help you realize your full potential, but I knew I was no match for your cooking skills. "Here we are helping each other out, right?"

Kitara was taken aback by the revelation that Zara had been keeping an eye on her. She couldn't help but feel a little uneasy about the situation, especially considering that Zara had a vendetta against the king.

"What do you offer her that makes her want to be here?"  Kitara asked Amaya, hoping to gain some insight into Zara's motivations.

Amaya sighed.    "As I explained earlier, she has an issue with the king and wants her revenge. "We're working together with a common goal: to get our revenge."

Kitara nodded slowly, still unsure if she could trust Zara. "Are you sure she's with us?" she asked, voicing her concern.

"I know it's hard to believe, given everything you've been through," Zara interjected. "But you trust Amaya, and she trusts me." "So you can trust me too."

Kitara took a deep breath and tried to calm her nerves. "Your name, please?" she asked Zara, hoping to at least know who she was working with.

"My name is Zara," she replied, offering a small smile.

Feeling a sense of urgency, Amaya interrupted their conversation. "Guys, we have to start working on our plan right now. Otherwise, we'll have to forget about whatever we desire. "It's getting late."

Kitara nodded, realizing that time was of the essence. They couldn't afford to waste any more time.   She looked at Zara and Amaya, determination etched on her face. "Let's do this," she said, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.

"So let go," Amaya said, and she led the trio towards a discrete area in the castle, shrouded in darkness.

Kitara's heart raced as they walked deeper into the shadows, wondering just how many of these hidden corners Amaya knew of.  The silence was deafening as they moved deeper into the inky blackness, the only sound being the soft rustle of their clothing against the stone walls. The air was heavy and musty, and Kitara couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as they made their way towards their destination.

The darkness was so absolute that she couldn't even see her own hand in front of her face. Yet, there was something thrilling about being in such a secret place. Kitara felt a sense of excitement at the prospect of what they might uncover in this clandestine corner of the castle.

So you have to change into this" Zara said as she brought out a cook dress from a bag that had been kept in the area.  You have to blend in, although Azara here is already sick, as we wanted them to believe, and you are going to represent her. "I will make Mykel come to the kitchen and have a taste of your cooking; it will be easy since you have met and spent some time together," Amaya said.

Kitara was stunned when she found out about that, she never told her about her encounter with Alpha Mykel but she already knows about it, she was unsure if it is something to be alarmed with or chilled.  She quickly changed into the dress, and they headed out of the area, leaving Zara behind.

"This is where we part, I am going to Mykel quarter now; go to the kitchen and do your job; don't act suspicious around others; bye," Amaya said as she left Kitara behind.

Kitara smiles "the party is starting"  she said and walks towards the kitchen.
