CHAPTER 164: POOL.

CHAPTER 164: POOL.

~MIRA’S POV~

I was furious. So that was my mother-in-law’s plan? To bring Grey’s ex into the house to seduce him? I turned down Angel’s offer to chill in her room only to meet that shameless pig talking trash.

Who cared about their past?

Once we were inside our room, I let go of my husband.

He corned me to the wall. “My love, just ignore everything she said.” I pursed my lips and Grey scrubbed a hand through his hair. “Baby, I’m going to destroy the treehouse. I promise.”

“So you used to fuck her?” I asked.

Grey gulped. “Yes.”

“Hmm,” was all I said.

“Mira. My baby. My love. It was such a long time ago. I haven’t touched her since forever.”

“But you still asked me to come to lunch without any panties on.” my face reddened.

I pushed him and he stepped back. I walked to the closet and pulled on my panties. I didn’t feel special anymore. This wasn’t a unique thing for us like I thought. Grey was right beside me, face contrite.

“Apparently, that’s not even our thing. It’s you and Olivia’s thing.”

“No.” He closed his eyes and released a breath. “Baby, I don’t remember ever doing any of those things with her.”

“But she remembers.”

“Mira, we were kids. Horny teenagers who did the craziest things.” he relaxed on the door of the wardrobe. He looked like he wanted to say more but didn’t know how. “Our families were friends. It didn’t seem like a big deal.”

“It’s a big deal,” I bit back. My husband’s gaze roamed my body before he let out another sigh. “It might not matter to you anymore but it does to her.”

He guided me to the bed. I wasn’t pissed at him but I was pissed. He patted his leg for me to sit but I shook my head. I needed to clear my head and sitting on his lap would do the opposite of that.

He inched closer to cover the gap, his hips pressed into mine, keeping me pinned between him and the headboard. One of his arms curled around my wrist and he spread my fingers on his lap. I licked my lips. His touch was already doing things to me.

“Mira.”

I refused to look at him.

“Baby, look at me when I’m talking to you.”

I would have disobeyed but the power in his voice gripped me. My head tilted slowly to face him.

“Are you going to let that woman ruin what we have?”

“No.”

“Are you going to let a jealous Olivia come between us?”

“No.”

“Who do you trust, me or her?”

My heart clenched. Sometimes, my fear of losing him got the best of me. It drove me to act the way I did but I loved and trusted him with all my heart.

“You, baby.” I lifted my gaze to his face. All the emotions Grey felt was on display. “I trust you, Grey.”

He flicked a finger over my nose. My anger fizzled out with each gentle touch, the caress of my cheek.

“I trust you too, Mira. With my life.”

My heart did that funny dance again. I clenched his palm, placing his hand on my bare knee.

“Are you going to let an incident of over a decade ago determine our future?”

“No.”

“Do you doubt my love for you?”

“No.”

There was one thing that had stayed constant. His love for me. I sighed. I lifted myself to Grey’s lap and palmed his face. His eyes searched mine and I let him see into my heart and soul. I wasn’t mad at him, maybe at Olivia and my mother-in-law but not my husband. Grey was the best man on earth.

Locking my arms around his neck, I kissed him again on the lips. “Fuck me in the treehouse, Grey.”

“What? Mira, no.”

“Whenever you think of the treehouse, you think about her and the time you spent together, right?”

“No.” I glared at him. “It’s in the past, baby”

“Then fuck me there. Replace memories of her with memories of us. I don’t want her to have any place in your mind or thoughts or even your memories.”

Grey’s palm covered my cheek. I could see all he felt for me in his eyes and I knew I would always be safe with him.

“Okay. But it has to be tomorrow.”

“Why not now? Why not today?”

“Because I want to fuck you right now, on this bed, not in the treehouse.”

My back met the bed and he hovered over me. He pulled my legs around his waist.

“You mean the whole world to me, Mira. Trust me when I say, I don’t give a shit about Olivia or any other woman. I only care about you. I only want you in this life and next.”

My eyes watered. My hands slipped up to his shoulders and I massaged them.

“Grey. You’re going to make me cry.”

“That’s how you make me feel, Mira. I never thought I was missing out on anything by staying away from relationships but you make me complete in a way I have never felt before, Mrs Anderson. I’m never going to get tired of telling you I love you and showing it.”

“You better not,” I whispered. “I love you too.”

He cupped my boob. “Now, can I please fuck you?”

“Yes, you may, husband.”

The next moments were a blur of movements. Kisses were exchanged. Moans slipped out of our mouths as we communioned with our bodies. I reached my peak first but I helped Grey get to his.

Right before sleep took over me, I murmured into his chest, “I’m not eating dinner with your mum.”

“I’m with you on that.”

Already feeling sleepy, I could only nod.

“She disrespected us by inviting Olivia here. I can ask Angel to join us. She really likes you.”

“I like her too. She called me her sister.”

I yawned and Grey laughed at me. I swatted his fingers circling my nipples. “I love you, baby boy but I need to sleep.”

Dragging the comforter over my shoulder, I closed my eyes. “Thank you for understanding, Grey.”

His laughter tickled my ears. It rang in my ears before sleep finally dragged me into its arms.

When I woke, I was alone. Or not. The door opened and Grey walked in. A towel hung from his shoulder, he used it at intervals to swipe through his damp hair.

“Hey.” A kiss to my cheek followed Grey’s greeting.

He helped me into a sitting position. Knowing I was naked underneath, I held the comforter to my chest. The action piqued Grey’s curiosity and we engaged in a mini tussle. Grey tried to tug it down but I yanked it up, protecting my dignity at all costs.

“Just let me see, Mira. It’s unfair. Stop hiding your body from your husband. It belongs to him.”

He was absolutely right about that. I belonged to him all round. Body, soul and heart. I leaned into Grey, my breath a soft caress against his lips.

“Does your body belong to me?”

“Of course it does. I’m yours.”

That was all it took to let the comforter drop. Grey's tongue swiped over his lips. His eyes, hungry for me, raked my body in away that made my pussy weep. He was staring like it was his first time. When he had a fair share of staring, he pulled the comforter over my chest.

“That wasn’t so hard, was it? Thank you.”

I touched his hair. “Where were you?”

“Downstairs. Swimming. Want to swim? Angel is there.” He offered me his hand and pulled me out of the bed.

I didn’t have to worry about my decency because he tossed me one of his big shirts. We walked to the balcony that I hadn’t explored and a breeze danced across my cheek. The air was cool, a perfect evening for swimming.

“That’s the pool.”

I followed his hand stretched towards a large swimming pool at the other side of the house. It wasn’t empty. Angel was lounging at the pool with her feet inside the water while sipping from her coconut. I turned to Grey and my smiled faded.

“I don’t really know how to swim.”

“I’ll teach you. Or we can just hang around. We can have dinner there.” He threw me over his shoulder and spanked my ass.

I wiggled and it only earned me another spank. In the room, he set me down so I could pick out some bathing suits. I picked one bathing suit from the pile on the box.

“I like that.”

“This?”

I raised the blue bikini bottoms. Grey nodded. I wasn’t so sure about it.

“Alright. This it is.”

We had already stepped out of the house, hands locked together when we noticed another person by the pool. Olivia, the
unwanted pest. She wasn’t gone.

“Fuck,” Grey cursed under his breath. “I thought she was gone,” he told me.

I also thought so. Feeling conscious with my blue bathing suit, I clutched the hem of my robe hiding the bikini. Olivia’s bikini was too sexy, too revealing.

“Alright, let’s go back inside.”

Like an obedient little lamb, I followed my husband into the house. Anything was better than being in the same pool with Olivia.
