Chapter 52: New life
I was once more ruthless. If that was the case, when has the monster been kind to me? I should've remembered that the man in front of me was one of the people who made my life a living hell.
"Hi!" Another man entered from outside. He was devilish handsome, but Michael was more handsome for me. "My name is Don, his best
friend and I'm a doctor.
I was completely uninterested. I simply lowered
My gaze. "You have nothing wrong with you. That's probably why you collapsed after witnessing so much blood and shock
"Please, I want to be alone," I said, interrupting
whatever he was saying. Everything was still very fresh in my mind. I lay down on the bed and wrapped myself in a blanket.
"All right, I'm sorry."
I heard footsteps leaving, but he came to a halt at the door."You're also a month pregnant." Then he completely shut the door.
I jumped to my feet and felt my stomach. Tears
streamed down my cheeks once more. My loved ones had recently died, and I was now entering a new stage of life. Michael's constant claim on me had paid off, but the question was will Michael accept that I was pregnant for someone else, or will the monster say the pregnancy is his? He doesn't love me.
Baby, you were formed early in Mommy's tummy. Your Daddy doesn't love us. He is in love with someone else and will never be able to love me.
Michael stared blankly from his current place in his room. He sipped the wine he was holding in one hand slowly. Nothing else entered his mind but the joy of having given a dot the life of a Layla Vlov. It shouldn't have been just one bullet. If I hadn't just collapsed, he could have filled her body with bullets until
his gun ran out.
"Bro!"
The manner in which Layla addressed him shook
her. He occasionally wished to assassinate this vexing doctor. It broke his silence in these moments once more.
"What?" he exclaims.
"I thought it would be fine and you'd be happy if you brought your mother and Florae's deaths to justice. Why do you appear to have died here? "
"Of course I'm pleased. Get out now!" He gave it a disapproving look.
It simply laughs. "l had no idea you and Layla were of the same blood. It's no surprise that you're both demons. Fuck! Consider this: she's the half-beast sister you were looking for, but she mysteriously vanished. Even using all
of our investigative abilities, we were unable to locate her previously. But she's fine!"
"Shut the fuck up!"
For a brief moment, silence fell between them.
"You have it all. What do you have planned for Vlov's daughter? Are you going to hide her on your island again?"
He didn't say anything. He just kept staring at the wine-filled goblet. "She doesn't have anywhere to go. It's much better if she stays here."
Don shook his head, staring at him as if he wanted to say something but didn't care.
"Okay, I have to go; my yacht is waiting for me. By the way, be nice to her; you have no idea what's going through her head."
-Shut the f*ck up!
He just kept sipping wine and thinking about the past.

When they met that day, he told Peter, "Release the old man."
"Okay." He took out his phone and dialed the number for the old man's bodyguard. He turned to look at him when he heard him talking. "He'd like to talk to you, Michael." Peter handed him the phone.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Michael, and I would have asked you to have my daughter's safety. Don't hand her over to Layla. Though I know she will not harm her, I don't want my most cherished child to go to that criminal; I love her so much, and as a father, I want the best for her."
He couldn't make out what he said. Silently, he laughed. Vlov must have been a moron when he
entrusted me to him. Did he not realize how
many times he had claimed over me?
"Anya loved her sister a lot, but I don't want her to repent later."
He paused for a moment after the first thing he said, then shook his head. Love?
"Okay." He was about to put the phone down when he began to speak again.
"Would you please tell her how much I love her? Mr. Michael, please take care of my daughter and bid her my farewell. Thank you very much." Also, disconnect the other line.
He shook his head and handed the phone to Peter. He didn't have time for drama.
He began to move quietly. If he was interrogated, he Would want to kill Layla right away. But, instead, he began digging the root, and he knew Layla's comrades murdered his mother. He decided to go after them one by
one. He then killed the biggest boss in order to finish the game Layla started. But he wasn't expecting to learn that my dad had been murdered. The two bodyguards he gave him to protect him were useless because on his very own bed, where it was sleeping, was murdered.
He simply noded at what he discovered. It gave him even more reason to kill Layla right away.
He placed the cup he was holding on his room's side table, went to bed, and lay down. He needed to get some rest. He would be back the next day to resume the job he had left for
a while to exact revenge on Layla. He didn't care if they were related or not. If the blood was darker than his own, it couldn't be weighed against him.
He'd been staring at the ceiling for quite some time when he heard a loud crash from the other room. Damn! He dashed across the other room. I was clinging to the side table and adjusting to stand, which surprised him.
When I called his name, he frowned and turned his back to go back to his room.
"MICHAEL..
He clenched his fist and walked away from me.
I fought back my tears. I accidentally fell. I
didn't notice I was on the side of the bed as I
turned. My hip ached, but my heart ached even more. I wanted to thank Michael for rescuing me from Layla's clutches, but I lacked the courage to do so. Fear continued to eat away at me.
I sighed and proceeded to the garden. I was gone for two weeks on this island, and whether I admitted it or not, I missed the flowers and the peaceful atmosphere. I was sitting on the log bench, remembering the day Michael was with me in the middle of the garden.
"Hello, lovely!"
I moved my gaze to the source of the voice. I saw another Greek god, and if Michael hadn't been the first one I saw, panties would have fallen off in its majesty. Why were there scattered Greek gods on the island tthat day? Was it possible that Cuhen and I were both
dead and in heaven?
"My name is Hezel." He sat down beside
Me and did not hesitate to extend his hand for a
handshake.
"Am I dead?" I wondered inwardly, unable to take my gaze away from him. Not even try to take his hand.
He laughed stupidly. "No. I"m just so handsome that you could mistake me for a very attractive angel."
"All right," I said, returning my gaze to the center of the garden. I came to a halt for a brief moment when my gaze was drawn to the mango tree in front of me, which was laden with fruit. My mouth began to wet as a result of what I saw. I jumped to my feet and ran for it. I wished I could eat even just two of them.
Even two would suffice!
"Would you like a mango this early?"
I was taken back when I realized the man was
following me. I responded with a quick nod. He
scratched his chin and smiled. I couldn't climb the mango tree because my body was weak and I could fall.
Joy was reflected on my face when Hazel climbed the mango. He gave me just two mango fruits. He even peeled the mango on my request, and the sauce it brought was soy sauce and sugar, just as I had requested.
"Here's your order, beautiful princess." Hazel jokingly kneeled in front of me, making me laugh. I was nice to Hazel because he exuded happiness and smiles all the time.
"Thank you very much, Hazel"
The man was simply relieved to watch me eat the mango. I thought mangoes were delicious,
especially when they were raw. I also had no intention of giving Hazel anything because I wanted everything for myself.
"I'm glad you're okay." He cracked a grin.
I didn't say anything. I simply continued to eat...
