81. Marry Me?
"Marry me?" Angel's body stiffened when she read the sentence formed from the fireworks.
"Hah?" Angel snorted with a dumbfounded face, a feeling of envy appeared in her heart. "Who gets proposed to like this? How romantic. She must be a very lucky woman-"
Angel's voice paused when suddenly the roof of the building suddenly lit up, even making him close her eyes for a moment because the lights made him dazzle in an instant.
"Oh Lord!" shrieked Mrs. Matthew.
Angel immediately opened her eyes because she was afraid that something would happen to her mother. "Why, Mom?"
Mrs. Matthew just smiled, pointing her index finger towards Angel's back, making the woman turn her body quickly.
Angel gasped, her body stiffened with her eyes wide. Her breath caught in her throat when she saw what was presented in front of him. "What is this?"
You can see the roof floor which has been decorated with candles, forming a path sprinkled with red rose petals. All the decorations were arranged towards a round table in front, equipped with two chairs facing each other covered in bright red satin. And what made Angel's heart almost stop beating was a neon light in the shape of letters strung together to form the sentence: Marry Me, My Angel?
"Oh my..." Angel covered her mouth with her body still unable to move, especially now that she saw Erick walking towards her.
"Angel, will you marry me?" said Erick, lowering his body, kneeling while holding out a velvet box containing a ring.
Angel's eyes filled with tears, she never thought she would get the romantic surprise she had been dreaming of, especially from a dominant man like Erick.
"Angel, answer me."
Instead of answering, Angel bent down to pull Erick's arm to make him stand up as well. Angel immediately hugged Erick tightly, ignoring the blue ring on the man's hand.
"I want... I want to be your wife, Erick."
Erick smiled broadly, returning Angel's hug no less tightly. He even lifted the woman's body, turning her slowly. "Thank... thank you, darling."
Angel just managed to laugh out loud. Her heart, which had almost stopped beating, was now beating even faster. A burst of happiness invaded hee heart, more exuberant than the explosions of fireworks that were still burning in the sky.
Erick lowered Angel's body gently, turning to look closely at the woman. He grabbed Angel's left hand, slipped the blue-eyed ring onto the woman's ring finger. "We will be married soon, and you will be mine forever."
Angel nodded slowly, no longer able to hold back the tears of emotion. "I... love you, Erick... love you very much."
Erick felt the same thing, a strange feeling of emotion now invaded her chest. He pulled Angel's nape gently, bringing their lips together in an unusually soft kiss.
I don't know where the sound of music is coming from, but now their kiss is accompanied by soft romantic music playing, creating the perfect atmosphere on a cold night full of love.
Angel put both hands around Erick's neck, responding to the struggle of Erick's lips no less intensely. However, suddenly she heard a cute muttering sound that caught her attention, causing her lips to quickly part reflexively.
"Aaauummm...." baby Erlena mumbled loudly, then laughed and patted her hands. You could see her face shining brightly, as if she felt the happiness that was currently surrounding her father and mother.
"Honey, are you here too?" Angel widened her eyes, looking at her daughter who was in Anne's arms.
"She came up with this idea."
"What?" Angel shouted as she turned to Erick, her brow furrowed.
"Erlena knows what you want, darling," replied Erick while stroking Angel's cheek gently. "And she told me to give you a surprise like this."
Suddenly Angel's face changed. She glared at Erick while folding her arms across her chest. "So, you did it on Erlena's orders? Not because of your own intentions?"
"It's not like-" Erick's sentence stopped when Angel turned online. The woman walked past him and approached baby Erlana.
Angel grabbed the tiny body, kissed her daughter's cheek gently. "Thanks for the surprise, darling... mom is very happy tonight."
Baby Erlena only responded with a cheerful laugh.
"Congratulations, darling."
The soft voice made Angel turn her head to find her mother crying with a smiling face. H
She approached the woman, squatting down while still carrying baby Erlena. "Thank you, Mom."
"Mommy hopes you two get married soon... Mommy wants to see you live happily together."
"We will live happily with mommy too." Angel leaned in and kissed her mother's forehead gently.
"Ahem..." Erick cleared his throat loudly to divert their attention. "Our event isn't finished yet, darling."
"It looks like we have to go," said Mrs. Matthew smiled amusedly as she wiped away her tears. She grabbed baby Erlena's body from Angel's arms. "Come with grandma, darling."
Angel stood up again, but still didn't move, staring straight at Anne who was pushing her mother's wheelchair back out of the roof of the building. Suddenly she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her stomach, followed by a gentle kiss on her neck.
"Shall we continue the ritual?"
"Hah?" Angel turned around quickly, one eyebrow raised, "what ritual?"
"The ritual of proposing to you," answered Erick casually.
"Applying is not a formality that must be carried out according to procedures. Proposing is an activity from the heart that is carried out according to body reflexes," explained Angel.
"Okay..." Erick immediately pulled Angel's waist so that their bodies were close, his eyes glanced at the romantic table in front of him. "Let's forget all these formalities, because there is something more fun than just having dinner."
"What?" Angel raised an eyebrow.
"This." Erick grabbed Angel's nape, bringing their lips together again. This time he is back like the real Erick Cullen, wild, dominant and a little rough.
It turns out it didn't stop there. Erick hugged Angel's body, inviting the woman to teleport away from that place. He no longer cared about the romantic atmosphere, he didn't care about all the formalities of a proposal, because the most important thing for him was being able to be alone with Angel in an intense atmosphere.
"Aahhh..." Angel sighed softly when she felt her body bounce slightly. She started to open her eyes, looking at the handsome face that was currently still holding her. "Where are we?"
"At our house," answered Erick with a sweet smile.
Angel glanced around, familiar with the atmosphere of the luxurious room dominated by gray. It felt like it had been a long time since she had come to this luxurious house.
"Why did you invite me here, hm?" Angel asked as she let go of Erick's embrace, then walked towards the bed. She landed her buttocks on the surface of the big bed, flashing a sweet smile at Erick who continued to stare at her.
"I just want to be alone with you somewhere more comfortable."
"Make love?" Angel quipped with a mocking smile. "Is that all you think about when you're with me?"
"Maybe yes," Erick shrugged nonchalantly, walking closer to Angel, "and I'm sure you want it too."
"I don't always want it." Angel hit Erick's arm lightly. "You're the only one who always has perverted thoughts."
Erick chuckled softly, but in the next second he stared closely at that beautiful face. His other hand reached out, with his thumb gently stroking Angel's cheek. "I want you and your mother to stay here."
Angel's eyes widened quickly. "What do you mean?"
"I want to provide a more comfortable place for you, especially after we get married."
"But why does it have to be here?"
"Because you definitely wouldn't want to live in a castle."
Angel was silent for a moment. What Erick said was true, to be honest, she still wanted to enjoy life as a normal human being, she also wanted Erlena to socialize like a normal child.
"I will make this house warmer for our little family, and you can choose as many servants as you want."
"I... have to ask mommy first."
"I'm sure Mrs. Matthew will agree. It's also time for her to stop working and focus more on living happily in old age."
Angel looked at Erick with emotion, not expecting that this cold man was already thinking about their happiness.
"One more thing," Erick smiled softly, "tomorrow a designer will come to discuss your wedding dress."
