Chapter 72 Part 2
Chapter 72 Part 2
Nelly
"Stop," I cried, my voice piercing the chaos. "Stop it, both of you!" But my pleas fell on deaf ears, the two figures locked in a deadly embrace, their bodies slashing and tearing at each other. I watched, my heart pounding, my mind racing. I couldn't let them kill each other, not over me, not for me. I loved them all, each in their own way. I refused to choose, refused to let them fight.
I acted on instinct, my body surging forward, my hands reaching out, grasping at Vincent and Quinn, my fingers sinking into their fur, their flesh. The touch sent a shock through them both, their bodies jerking, their movements halting. Vincent and Quinn turned to me, their eyes filled with a sudden, overwhelming desire. They looked at me, their gazes filled with love, with need, with hunger. I gasped, my eyes widening as I felt their desire, their need, like a tangible force, wrapping around me, pulling me in. It has to be the bond. I won’t fight it. I reached out, my hands stroking their faces, their bodies, my touch soothing, calming. I felt their love, their devotion, their desire, pouring into me, filling me, consuming me. I felt their fears, their insecurities, their pain, and I knew, with a sudden clarity, what I had to do.
"Stop," I commanded, my voice filled with a newfound power. Vincent and Quinn paused, their bodies shuddering, their forms changing, their bodies shifting back to their human forms. They stood before me, breathing heavily, their bodies battered and bruised, their eyes filled with a mix of confusion and desire.
"What do you want, Nelly?" Vincent asked, his voice hoarse with exertion and emotion.
I looked between them, my heart aching with love and longing. "I want you, Vincent. But you know that, always. I want you, Alec, too. And I want you, Quinn." I paused, letting my words sink in. "Together. I want our family together."
Vincent and Alec exchanged a look, a silent conversation passing between them. They turned to Quinn, who watched them, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief. "Us, Nelly? All of us?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
I nodded, my chin raised, my eyes filled with determination. "Yes, Quinn. Us. All of us. Because I love you, all three of you. And I can't... won't... choose between you. I want to spend my days, my nights, my forever, with all of you. I will keep having children with the old man I married, but we could try, too, Quinn. I want my eternal family."
A silence fell over the room, the men looking at each other, their expressions filled with shock, with fear, with hope. It was Vincent who broke the silence, his voice filled with a newfound resolve. "I'm in," he said, his eyes scanning the room, taking in me, Alec, and Quinn. "If it's what Nelly wants, then I'll follow her lead. And damn the consequences."
Alec met Vincent's gaze, held it, a silent conversation passing between them. "I'm in too," he said, his voice steady and sure. "Wherever this takes us, we'll face it together."
Quinn watched them, his expression unreadable. I held my breath, my heart pounding. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Quinn nodded. "Very well," he agreed, his voice filled with a soft, tentative hope. "Let's do this. Together."
As we stood there, our eyes filled with a mix of love, of longing, of determination, I reached out, my hands capturing theirs, my fingers entwining with theirs. I felt a sudden surge of energy, of power, coursing through me, binding us together, sealing our fate. The air around them shimmered, a sudden, intense light enveloping us, pulling us together, binding us as one. When the light faded, I looked between them, seeing the truth in their eyes, the love, the devotion, the desire. I knew that I had made the right choice.
