Chapter 30

*DEVLANDS POV*

This was officially the best morning of my existence. Daeve didn’t fight me for more than a few seconds and then she just woke up. Then, she told me that she loved me! I could not be happier. After a few moments of staring at her like a lovestruck puppy I pulled her into a kiss. I wanted to completely devour her and I was going to show her. I deepened our kiss even more and felt her shift to try to get on top of me but I grabbed her hand and pinned one above her head before turning myself to pin her body down. I wasn’t letting her come up for air for even a second, but we didn’t need to breathe that much anyways. I took her other arm and pinned it along with the other. Without breaking away from her I dug through my side table and found a tie I had thrown in there last night just in case and used it to control her hands. I could feel her humming with pleasure underneath me.

I finally broke away from our kiss to get myself naked and then wasted no time ripping her sleeping clothes off. I started kissing her again and made my way to her jaw line and then her neck and I could feel her shiver under me. I moved down to her perfect breasts and bit them gently before diving in and licking and sucking them while he arched her back for more. I obliged for a while before pulling away, getting a whimper out of her. I chuckled a bit under my breath and then an image flashed through my mind that wasn’t my own. “Did you do that?” I asked. She just blushed in response. “I wanted to see if I could,” she said, biting her lip. She had projected a memory to me of what she wanted. “Well then, your wish is my command” and then I buried my face in between her legs. She was a moaning mess by the time I couldn’t wait any longer to be inside of her.

I put one leg over my shoulder and slammed myself into her, sending her eyes rolling to the back of her head. I was already ready to blow so I pulled myself out slowly and slammed back into her a few times as she tightened around me and gave me another orgasm sending my own over the edge. I just flipped her over and kept going. I reached up and pulled her hair as I kept making love to her, hard and fast. As I approached my second orgasm I flipped her back on her back and she wrapped her legs around my waist. “Say it again for me, my love” I practically begged as I held nothing back in her. She pulled my neck down to her to nip my ear and whispered that she loved me. We both hit our peak at that and came together again, actually shutting the building's power off in the process. I moved inside her a little as we both came down from our highs. She giggled a bit as I nearly fell into her.

“Did we just break your building?” she said, still trying to suppress her laughter. “I think we did” I said into her neck laughing along with her. The generator kicked on after a few more seconds and we laughed a bit more. I laid down on the bed again and pulled her on top of me. “This might sound like a weird question,” I started, “but, since we have been together, have you felt like you’re more powerful than before?” She picked her head up to look at me. “I thought that I was going crazy, but yes. I could feel your power before but since you have been using your demon side more, it feels like it has doubled. As for me, I feel stronger, everything is a little easier but I thought that it was just because I was rested. My mind is also more flexible. I’ve never been able to project images before and I can feel your mind more and it’s easier to read others.” She ended with a little shrug but to me that was huge.

“Your power has doubled too,” I said. “I could feel it before but now it is almost overbearing. When you tell people to do something, it is less of a request. You have absolute control and have terrified everyone that we’ve met by the sheer force of it.” She considered that for a second. “Talk about a power couple” she giggled and kissed my nose affectionately. “So I can project images to you, can you do the same?” she said sitting up. I joined her in sitting but pulled her between my legs and she put her legs on either side of me. “Let’s see.”

“How did you do it?” I asked her. She took another moment to consider it. “I basically just focused on the walls of your aura and tried to shove a particular image to you. It might help if I try to open my mind.” Her eyes were swirling wildly before she closed them and I focused on pushing the image of her into her mind. I could feel the wall around her mind shift a bit to let me in and I replayed the memory of our morning sex into her brain. She giggled a bit and opened her eyes, “of course you would show me that.” I laughed a bit with her as she pushed a memory of my eyes swirling onto me in response. “That’s a lot easier with your mind open to me more” she said giggling again. “We should keep that on the down low” she said seriously this time. “You’re right, but we should ask someone we trust if they can get into your mind while we do that.” She just nodded at me and thought for a moment. “I’ll ask Ziggy if she can sense my emotions while we do that, she and Roo will be the first ones to France so we can ask then.” I nodded and then pulled her into another kiss.

“I love you too by the way” I said, before pulling her back into me. I could feel her smile against my lips and relax even more. I pulled her back down on top of me as I laid back down and we stayed there in silence for a while. “Let’s go eat” I heard in my mind after a while of laying there. I lifted my head to look at her and she gave me a grin. “I just wanted to see if I could” she said, grinning even bigger. “Shower?” I tried to push into her mind. She laughed again and shook her head, “after training?.” I nodded. She was having so much fun with this, it was good to see her this happy in the morning. I love you so much, I said to myself. “I heard that.” She said out loud this time and pulled me into one more kiss before hopping up and heading to her back to get workout clothes. We both changed and then headed back down to the club to grab some food. I didn’t have her level of chefs working but they were damn good. We ate and spent a few hours in my gym. I had an agility training course in my gym since that is what I struggle with the most. Daeva didn’t have that trouble.

She looked at it and her eyes lit up and she immediately ran over to it. “I want one!” She said as she bounced up and down. I laughed at her excitement. I started on weights so that I could watch her run the agility course. She was so graceful, it was like it wasn’t even challenging. She got to the end and laughed a bit, having the time of her life. She then tried to do it backwards and only fell twice. After an hour or so we switched. I went up to the course, hoping that my new found power would help me a bit. It didn’t. I felt large and clunky moving around on it. “You should be two moves ahead in your mind. Plan your third while you’re doing the first.” She said while using the weights that I was using. Damn, she is perfect. I fell a few times but started looking ahead on the course more and it definitely helped, but I still fell a few times.

“You should take a dance class, your footwork needs help” she said as I finally gave up. I laughed and shook my head at her, “you don’t think I could dance?” I asked feigning being offended. She laughed again and shook her head. “Well, then I guess I’ll just have to give it a try then” said, giving her a wink. We spent a few hours working out before heading back up to my suite. We were planning on leaving tonight but after this morning we decided to leave early the next morning. As soon as she got into the suite she made a beeline for the shower. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that she was already having one installed in her suites. I laughed a bit and went to join her.
