Chapter 38: Liam P.O.V

What the hell was my brother thinking? I want to break every bone in his damn body a thousand times over for what he just did. I had told him a thousand times over before we ever found Rory that when it comes to marking our mate we needed to be able to do it together. I should have known better than to think that his wolf would let him sleep with Aurora and not mark her. In what universe could a wolf ever have sex with their virgin mate and not mark her? It came with the territory of finding our mates but of course my post-sex brain wasn't thinking about the million complications that could happen from him not being able to control himself.

"What the hell happened in there?" I looked at Lucas.Hell really did freeze over if I'm asking the slutty brother about control while walking into whatever situation I'm walking into. What could have our brother so freaked out that he would send aurora away? Getting closer to my bedroom I could hear the thrashing of furntirue and ripping of materials, "God dammit." I muttered. Great, not only would we be having to tame our brother but I would probably have to try and replace every single item in that bedroom.

Lucas chuckled, "Were you really planning on keeping the sheets he took her virginity on anyway?" He asked. I looked at him like he had asked the stupidest question I ever heard and took in a deep breath,opening the door. Lucas walked in behind me and locked the door. Not sure if taht would be the smartest move with Levi's extended claws at the moment but I'm sure we will find out soon.

"What's going on here, Levi?" Lucas asked, trying to gather some information and figure out how to move thigns along calmly.

"They did things to her." He grunted, before he fell to his knee's. He was reliving every single one of her memories with her parent's.

"What did they do to her.." I asked. I wanted to know, the partner in me wanted to ask but I know trauma can block thigns out especially with reoccuring trauma in the way she had dealt with.

"It's worse than what they did to me." he winced in pain on the floor, his claws digging into the floor. What the hell could be worse than choking on your own blood while they single handedly kill off your entire body guard team in front of you?

"It can't be worse. Nobody know's about any weapons than could harm wolves from the place we retrieved you from. Plus, they were her parents. I know they really hurt her but what could have happened?" I asked, one image after another popping into my brain.

"They did stuff to our Beta..." he growled out , his wolf growing more out of control by the second.

"What do you mean, they did stuff to our Beta? Levi what did they do their own kids?" Lucas focused in on the damage that he rparents could have possibly committed against her. He sat down next to levi, "Luc, I don't knwo if that's a good idea." I warned, trying to convince him off the ground, but the look in his eyes told me everything. He viewed her parents as the enemy, it didn't matter that they were dead and bled out as traitors on a dirty floor.

"They drugged them and made them forget things."Levi winced, grabbing his head.

"They auciditoned them to witches to play with as they pleased with her mom in the room.." Levi roared, his voice trembled.

"Levi, be careful with what you say next? Okay?" I asked,Lucas grabbed his arm and pulled him closer while Levi fought against his hold.

"Did the former beta sell his children as sex dolls to witches?" I asked, prayign he wasn't about to say what I thought was the truth.

"They aren't his." Levi answered and I felt my world plummeting.

"Whose are they then?" I asked,scared about the truth. The truth is the second that I decide to mark my mate I will go through the same thing, the same downward spiral into madness knowing how abused my mate is.

"She's the princess to the royal family." Levi smiled, for the first time in minutes.

"Our beta is the missing prince and their sister is the dead princess. " Levi smile turned into a frown again. How did we never notice that they had chidlren right aroudn the time the royal family lost a child?

"It's not possible. How did she always look pregnant then?" I asked, trying my hardest to wrap my brain around what he is saying.

"They tortured them, rory will remember the way the witches left her virginty in tac but ruined her in every way possible in front of her brother." He cried, trying to find a way to erase the memories.

"Levi, do you love Rory?" I asked, trying to find a way to bring him out of his spiral. I sighed, "Do you love Aurora?" I asked, again. Levi finally looked up at me with clear eyes, "More than anything, she's my mate." He smiled, it wasn't a true smile of someone in love, he mourned for what Rory has gone through. I grabbed his shoulder, "Go to her, she think's you didn't like marking her and we can figure this out together." I explained.

There isn't much we can do about her past until whatever drugs ro spell they put her under where's off. No wonder her wolf is so much stronger than her human side, her wolf probably took on most of what she went thorugh when her parent's decided taht she wasn't worth more than the food on their table or the drinks in their cups. I sat down on the floor next to Lucas while Levi found some boxers in one of my drawers, "So, what do we do about the witch thing?" I asked, praying Lucas might have some wisdom on the situation at hand.

He just shook his head no and placed his ahead in hands, defeated. We all were, the truth is we would have to explain to her older brother that he was there and witnessed her sexual assault by a group of people he hated as much as Levi did, then we would have to explain that there is a possibility that they did something to him too. How do you tell another proud wolf he might have been sexually assaulted or used?
