Chapter 37: Aurora P.O.V.
I was on top of the world at the moment. It didn't happen the way that I orignally wanted it to but I couldn't be happier that his wolf took control of thigns, the only part that really bother's me is that he thinks I didn't notice the change in his personality. I totally did. Before he wasn't exactly excited at the prospects of having me marked without letting his brother's in on the situation but suddenly he did? Doesn't take a genius to figure out why. I was suprised by his wolf, everything that I had heard about his wolf was how cruel and inhumane that he had been.
The wolf that marked me had all of his humanity in store, he was sweet and even kind to the point that I doubted it could have been Levi wolf marking me in the moment but I knew Levi. His touch brought spark's over my skin and his breath smelled of peppermint while he had a natural husky scent to him. I knew him more than I thought I could know someone.
He left a trail of kisses from my jawline, down my neck until he got to her temporary mark, I moaned when the mark lit up my body with a thousand little firework while I tried not to squirm. His teeth sunk into my neck and I could feel the way his venom dripped into my mark, "Levi.." I moaned, feeling stronger the longer he stayed connected to me. He pulled away from my neck, his tongue lapping up the few drops of blood from his teeth and he smirked again, "Good girl." He whispered. My cheeks flushed red from his little praise and I bit my lip.
'Holy shit." He muttered. Holding my body tightly against his he laid down on the bed with me ontop of him. I was getting worried, levi is the type fo person taht is normally most in control, "It's okay, princess." he whispered.
"I like this." I smiled brightly. I like knowing that I don't have to say it out loud for him to physically and mentally know what is going on with me at all times. I staretd tracing invisible lines over his chest, "Thank you, Levi." I sighed. I could feel all the weight he carried form being the "Monstrous brother", all the stresss he felt from being the sibling that is considered the most in control of the pack. I could never have been as close to him, or understood him better without the mate bodn snapping into place.
"Rory, I have love you your entire life but go grab my brother's now." he ordered, trying to sound calm but I could feel his anger. I got up and stole one of Liam's shirts, "I'm sorry, levi." I whispered. He needed to know that no matter how selfish I am, I still don't wnat him to be mad at me because I want to truly be his mate.
"Hurry." he groaned, his hands on his head. I scurried over to the Lucas's room, first praying that they would be in there. I opened the door and they both sat on the couch, playing some type of video game. I cleared my throat hoping that they would hear me, but I was worried and a little bit anxious with the growing anger I could feel through Levi.
"Liam, Lucas. Levi said, he needs you and I'm suppose to stay in here." I stated, trying not to make it osudn to urgent and worry them even more. they both turned around and looked at me in confusion, "What could he possibly need us for?" They both asked baffled.I played with the ends of my hair, "He regrets marking me..an" I tried to finish with what I thought happened when both of them screamed, "WHAT!" and scramble dot the door liek the entire house was about to be on fire.
"Lock yourself in, please rory." Lucas said, his voice screamed of worry and kissed my forehead. I nodded my head and watched them go over to where Levi was currently at before I locked the door. His room was the total opposite of both his brother's, there wasn't a calming presence over his room like Liam's and he didn't scream superiority or darkness like his brother Levi. He was the definition of a middle child, the video games lined his tv stand with two couches sitting in the middle of the room. His bed didn't have 1,000 plus thread counts or silky sheets. They were boring and basic blue sheets with a fluffy white comforter and a thousand pillows. Everything about his personality was the complete opposite within this room.
'Rory, I'm sorry that I failed you miserably as a child." Levi whimpered through the bond. I could feel how much he mourned the pain that I had gone through as a child, the pain that I had gone through with my brother up until today. I swallowed alump forming in my throat, "Levi without those things that happened I wouldn't be as strong as I am now." I stated, trying to sound like I needed all of those awful punishments, and even torture to ebcome as amazing as I am currently. the truth is the memory of being punished htrough starvation makes me anxious being in this room alone right now, even if I know my amazing mates and Alpha's woudl never dream of hurting me in any light.
'You forgot already. I can feel everything that you feel or have felt.' Levi growled through the link. I know he's right, because I can feel the way he was hurt and tortured by witches. I can feel the way he prayed for his brother's or the moon goddess to come save him while he sat silent and never gave away where his brother's were located. I can feel the way his wolf almost died while they injected the silver venom directly into his blood stream, I can feel the way he choked on his own blood. That one year of his life he was tortured multiple times a day and it made me want to die.
'I can feel everything you went through too, Levi.' I stated, but it sounded more like a whisper.
'Levi, why did you send me away?' I asked, hurt. he can rely on his brother's so easily when it comes to putting himself back into control but the second I might actually be of some use he sends me away.
'I didn't wamt to hurt you, princess.' He whispered, ashamed that it was even a remote possibility.
