Chapter 137 Sweet Walk in the Garden
Thinking about the little pig she gave him today, her heart surged with emotion. She smiled and asked, "A rabbit hair clip? Where did you get it?"
"From my company," Steven told the truth.
"Your company has such nice stuff?" Nora examined the hair clip in her palm carefully. It was really sparkly and classy. "This is really pretty."
Hearing her say that, his earlier frustration about not being able to wear the hair clip himself disappeared. He looked at her and said, "Yeah, my company has quite a few of these hair clips. If you like them, I'll bring you a couple more next time."
"Do they cost money?"
"No." They really didn't. Steven wasn't lying - these were samples that hadn't hit the market yet.
Nora smiled, "It's so pretty."
Even though it was free, Steven had brought it back for her, which proved she was on his mind. She was very happy.
"Do you like it?" Steven gazed at her. Those light-colored pupils were no longer as cold as before, becoming soft and warm.
Nora felt a bit overwhelmed under his stare and said softly, "I love it!"
He knew it - Nora loved this kind of cute stuff.
Next time, he'd bring her a few more samples.
Free things made her even happier than things that cost money.
Nora clipped the hair clip into her hair herself. "Does it look good?"
The rhinestone rabbit appeared in her hair as she stared at him, her eyes both alluring and innocent.
Steven's Adam's apple bobbed. He couldn't help but turn his head away and say, "You're always tempting me. I can't handle you."
Nora blushed and hit him. "I am not!"
Steven couldn't resist her playful protest and pulled her deep into the landscaped area.
"What are we doing here?" Nora looked around - there were bushes everywhere.
"Finding a place to rest." Steven led Nora onto the lawn in the flower bed.
"Won't there be ants here..." Before Nora could finish, Steven kissed her hard.
She could barely breathe, panting softly.
That little gasp stirred Steven's desire. His breathing grew heavy as he kissed her more deeply.
Luckily, it was dark, and there weren't many people in the landscaped area.
"Sit down." Steven pulled Nora down to sit. When Nora tried to sit beside him, Steven wouldn't let her. "Sit in my lap."
He had her sit in his lap with her back to him.
Nora felt inexplicably shy but didn't refuse, obediently sitting down.
Steven hugged her from behind, his hot hands slipping under the trench coat and into her dress.
Nora's eyes flew wide open as she covered her mouth!
Steven had actually unhooked her bra.
She was wearing Steven's trench coat, which was so big it wrapped around her entire body. Outsiders couldn't see what was happening underneath.
But Nora knew what Steven was doing.
He pulled down her dress, his large hands caressing every inch of her skin.
Nora was completely flustered - this was the hospital garden!
She grabbed Steven's hand and said shyly, "Steven... people could walk by at any time."
"They can't tell." His voice was hoarse as he bit her ear. "You're wearing the trench coat. Don't worry, I won't do anything..."
How could he possibly not do anything?
She could already feel it!
Nora was dying of embarrassment. She twisted her body, trying to move away a bit, to escape the danger zone.
Steven wouldn't let her. He grabbed her slender waist with brute force and pulled her back, even lifting her skirt to press her firmly against him.
Nora covered her mouth, blushing.
Nora thought: 'This Steven is really too shameless!'
Nora's entire face was red.
Under the trench coat, her clothes were already disheveled.
Nora had just been feeling cold, but now it was like being in a sauna. Her whole body was burning up - she felt like she was being steamed.
Steven's eyes were dark as he greedily nibbled on her earlobe. "Do you like it?"
Nora didn't dare answer, afraid that if she opened her mouth, a moan would escape.
He bit her ear. "Answer."
Nora couldn't speak. In a soft voice, she said, "Stop asking me!"
"Just tell the truth." His voice was very hoarse.
Nora suddenly felt parched. "It's... okay..."
"Come home tomorrow night." Steven's thin lips brushed her ear. "Let me satisfy you, okay?"
Nora blushed, instinctively wanting to refuse.
Steven said, "You can't refuse. Tomorrow night I'll pick you up from the hospital after work."
With that, he released her.
He'd reached his limit - if they stayed pressed together any longer, something would happen.
Nora gasped and quickly straightened her clothes.
Both of them were breathing irregularly.
Steven walked her to the elevator.
She glanced at him and took off the trench coat to give back to him. "Go back now. Drive carefully."
"Okay." He agreed but still stood there watching her.
It really felt like they were dating.
Nora's heart felt sweet as she turned and entered the elevator.
When she got upstairs, Olivia checked the time and smiled. "You were out for over two hours. What did you do?"
Nora felt a bit shy. "Nothing much."
She took a strawberry to eat - the fruit Steven had bought earlier that evening.
Olivia noticed the kiss mark that had suddenly appeared on her neck and smiled. "Why don't you go home with Steven tonight?"
Nora's face turned red under Olivia's gaze, and she even stuttered. "You're still in the hospital. Of course, I need to stay here with you."
"It's fine, my body has basically recovered." Olivia said, resting on her pillow. "I can see Steven treats you pretty well. Why don't you just go home? Before, ordering food at the hospital was inconvenient, but now someone delivers meals here every time. I won't go hungry."
"No way!" Nora grabbed her clothes and went to shower.
Then she crawled under the covers and lay next to Olivia. The two faced each other and started their late-night conversation.
"Olivia, I'm actually a bit scared. What should I do?" Nora told Olivia everything.
Olivia looked at her. "Scared of what?"
Nora said shyly, "It's just... the first time having sex wasn't a great experience. I'm really scared now."
Olivia stroked Nora's head and said, "That's normal. The first few times, girls suffer. It gets better after that."
Nora hugged the blanket. "I don't even dare face him now."
Olivia looked at her. "When you like someone, you're willing to have sex with them. Just think about whether you're willing or not. If you're not willing, you should refuse him and talk to him clearly. Don't just be scared here. Steven doesn't know. If you keep resisting, he might feel hurt too."
Nora felt Olivia didn't understand Steven.
He wasn't the type to back off just because you resisted.
Steven seemed cold and distant, but he was actually very domineering and forceful.
However, Nora wasn't that resistant anyway - otherwise she would have refused already. She looked at the ceiling and said quietly, "I'm not unwilling. I just want him to take the initiative. After all, I'm a girl - I'm still quite shy."
The next day.
Nora changed into outdoor clothes - that oversized black windbreaker again, with joggers and white sneakers.
She tied her hair in a ponytail and said to Olivia, "Olivia, I'm taking clients to Cloud Mountain today. I'll be back in the evening."
"Okay, take good care of your clients. Don't worry about me." Olivia replied.
An hour later.
Nora sat in the Cloud Mountain cable car with two tall men standing beside her - one was Andrew, the other was Duke.
Duke said a few sentences in their native language that Nora couldn't understand.
Andrew said with a smile, "Ms. Adams, Mr. Wood is asking if you're afraid of heights?"
"I'm okay." Nora answered.
Cloud Mountain was called Cloud Mountain because it was shrouded in mist. As the cable car glided upward, you could only see white fog, as if you were among the clouds.
The mountain was quite beautiful. Nora looked at the scattered peaks in the distance and thought how magnificent it was.
If she were here with Steven, she'd definitely be taking tons of photos, but with clients, she'd better not.
Andrew had been embarrassed last time at The Fisherman's Catch, so this time he'd come up with a new way to mess with Nora - he wanted revenge!
The method was bungee jumping!
Andrew played often and wasn't scared.
But when Nora heard about bungee jumping, her face turned pale. "Bungee jumping?"
What was the difference between that and suicide?
Looking at the red platform ahead, Nora couldn't help but step back. "Um... Mr. Hayes, I'm a bit scared of this. Can I not do it?"
She was really afraid of bungee jumping!
And it was so high - she didn't even dare look down.
Andrew saw her legs trembling and smiled. "Mr. Wood wants some adventure. Ms. Adams, won't you play with Mr. Wood?"
Duke stood beside them. He actually understood but had to keep pretending he didn't, helping Andrew on the side.
Andrew said with malicious amusement, "Mr. Wood says bungee jumping is really fun. He really wants you to try it."
"No!" Nora's first reaction was to run.
Andrew grabbed her. "Come on, Mr. Wood is warmly inviting you. How can you back out?"
"Mr. Hayes, I really don't dare!" Nora tried hard to pull her hand back.
"Just try it. It's really interesting." Andrew coaxed, excitedly pushing her toward the staff. "Put the safety equipment on her."
Nora fell silent.
Why did she feel like Andrew was messing with her?
She was getting more and more convinced - he always chose these weird places. Being a tour guide was getting way too dangerous, wasn't it?
The staff put the safety equipment on Nora.
Nora felt very uneasy. "Mr. Hayes, can you please talk to Mr. Wood properly? I really don't dare do this."
"You don't dare because you haven't tried it. Once you try it, you'll get braver."
"What does this have to do with bravery? I just purely don't want to do this." Nora thought, What if the rope broke? Wouldn't she die? And there was a lake below - what if the rope was too long and she fell into the lake?
Why did this Mr. Hayes have to force people like this?
Seeing that Nora kept refusing to play, Andrew's face darkened. "Ms. Adams, do you still want the next order or not?"
Was this a threat?
Andrew narrowed his eyes. "Our Mr. Wood hates people who ruin the fun."
Duke actually thought Andrew was going too far, treating a weak woman like this, but Andrew had always been nasty.
