A Cornered Mouse
A Cornered Mouse
Malcolm’s POV…
Usually, Zara’s eyes never showed vulnerability or humility. In that one year we were together, and the few times we’ve interacted since she returned into my life, her eyes were steadfast, unnerving and proud—she always believed she was in the driver’s seat, that she was the one in control, and that being confidently brutal and direct would get her whatever she wanted.
Right now however, the state of her eyes were… different! They were almost soft, almost apologetic. I could see a hint of sadness in those eyes, and my indifference towards her seemed to be simmering down a little bit. It was almost like she had turned on a spell and it was starting to wrap its web around me. Almost.
“There! I’ve looked at you. Are you happy now? Can you leave now?”
My tone was flat and dry, and it didn’t even sound like I was talking to a human being. She didn’t like my attitude and she took a step closer, almost touching me now and well, I didn’t care for such proximity. I tried to take a step back, but she took another one forward, refusing to give me the space I wanted.
“Why are you treating me this way, Malcolm? Why can’t you understand that I’m just trying to help you?”
Oh, she sounded so soft. And her eyes were even glistening—they were watery, like she wanted to cry. I wasn’t about to fall for it. Rather than come on strong as she’d been doing since, now she was coming on much softer.
“I never asked for your help, Zara. I don’t want it. I don’t want you anywhere close to me or my family, and I most certainly don’t want you. Not now, not ever again.”
Since she’d decided to corner me in this bathroom and force a conversation with me, I might as well use this chance to tell her all that I thought of her, and perhaps the brutality of my honesty will help the message sink into her head that there was nothing left between us and that she should give up chasing shadows of unalive spirits of our shared past.
“You know, if you’d just shown up and told me you wanted us to be together again, despite how upset I had been about the past, I wouldn’t have been so cruel to you. But you didn’t show up like a normal woman, with humility and grace, did you Zara? Because that’s not who you are and it’ll never be.
“You arrived with pride, entitlement and fire—literally. You’re like a snake. You can never seem to move in a straight line, always trying to slither your way into getting the things you want.”
My tone switched now. I was beginning to get fired up, but I still managed to keep my voice down. “My sister almost died because of you.”
“And I’m so sorry about that,” she whimpered and placed her hands on my chest, “I only set your house on fire to retain the lawyer’s trust. I never wanted to kill anybody, much less a member of your family.”
I pulled her hands off me and held them by her sides. As I was about to say more, I heard the door to the entrance of the restroom rattle. And in that moment, I panicked a little bit. I didn’t want anyone to see us together like this, even if nothing was happening between us. I had to do something to make sure no one did.

Zara’s POV…
As soon as he heard someone about to come in, Malcolm grabbed my hand and dragged me into one of the stalls. He shut the door and placed a finger against his lips, signaling that I shouldn’t make a sound. A few seconds later, two men walked into the bathroom, and although we couldn’t see them, we could hear them. One of them was the CEO Jack Garderner, while the other person was one of Malcolm’s shareholders—I didn’t know that one.
“Well Jack,” the other began saying as the two men walked over to the urinals to relieve themselves, “It’s been a long road, but we’re almost over the line. One more month and China is ours.”
Jack laughed at the comment and they continued their conversation. While they spoke, it dawned on me that Malcolm and I were pressed together in a tight space. He obviously didn’t want the other two to know we were in there and wanted to wait in silence until they left. And well, it was the perfect opportunity to remind him of how much chemistry our bodies had.
I rubbed myself against him, running my hands down the length of his body while drawing in the scent of his skin. He smelled so good. His skin was so warm. And due to the fact that we couldn’t make any noise, I knew he wouldn’t stop me if I were to go further… And so I did.
I leaned further into him, standing on the tip of my toes and I kissed him on the neck. He pushed me away, as silently as he could, but I leaned into him again and kissed him again. He withdrew himself and looked at me, warning me with his eyes and mouthing the words ‘Stop it.’
But I didn’t stop. I kissed his chest. And with my right hand, I reached for the tool between his legs, grabbing what I could as I tried to get him aroused just as I already was. Oh, he was trying his best to resist me, but I had him cornered and he would just have to take it. He held my hand, but I fought against his hold. He got pretty upset, I could see it in his eyes. That was when he grabbed my neck and held on tight, choking me out so I’d stop fondling him.
Most women would stop at this point. Not me. His aggression turned me on even more. And although I couldn’t breathe, I was beyond happy and excited. With both hands, I began to undo his belt until it was unbuckled. I unbuttoned his pants and reached into it, and well, my hands made contact with his wonderful dick and I started rubbing it, trying to get him hard. He was staring straight into my soul, tightening his grip around my neck, but I didn’t stop touching his parts.
“Well, I guess you have to get back to the tour then. Let me know how it goes.”
“Sure thing, Will,” Jack said.
The door suddenly clicked and the two men were out. Immediately they left, Malcolm let go of my neck and I was able to catch my breath. Without saying anything, he burst out of the stall, fastened his pants back around his waist and stormed out of the restroom. And me… Well, I just stood there with a victorious smile on my face. The first round was over and in my book, I was ahead.
You have no idea how much I enjoyed every single second of that. Absolutely no idea.
