CHAPTER 30
Nagising ako nung may nararamdaman kong humahalik sa akin.
"Hmm.."
Patuloy pa rin sa pag halik sa akin si David.
"Gising na, mahal ko. Date day natin." Sabi niya at hinalikan muli ang buong mukha ko.
Bumangon ako at itinakip ang kumot sa dibdib ko. Nakahubad pa rin kaming parehas.
"Anong oras na?" Tanong ko sa kaniya. Antok na antok pa talaga ako.
"It's almost 2pm, mahal. " Sabi niya. Nagulat ako kung anong oras na.
"Ano 2 pm? " Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.
"Yes, mahal. Hindi na nakakapagtaka. I drained you last night— ayy mali kanina pala." Sabi niya kaya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Pa'no ba naman kase ayaw niya akong lubayan. Halos wala akong pahinga. Mag 4 am na yata ng napagod siya.
"Hindi ka na makaka ulit sa akin. You always drain me." Sabi ko bago ako tumayo at tumakbo papuntang banyo. Bago pa ako makapasok sa banyo. Nayakap na agad niya ako mula sa likuran.
"Mahal, wag ka basta basta tatakbo ng nakahubad. Inaakit mo ako." Sabi niya kaya pilit akong kumalas sa kanya. Hindi ko pa man nasasara ang pinto ng banyo nung pumasok siya. "Mahal, let's shower together to conserve the water." Sabi niya at alam ko na ang ibig sabihin noon.
Isang oras din ang tinagal namin sa banyo. Sabi pa niya pupunta kame sa Tagaytay ngayon. Kumain muna kame bago umalis. Hindi naman ganon katagal ang byahe since walang traffic.
Namamangha ako sa nakikita ko. Ang ganda. And i also felt cold.
Nakarating kame sa isang hotel dito sa Tagaytay at ang kinuha niyang kwarto ay kitang kita ang view. Napatingin ako sa bandang gilid sa baba, nag aayos ng reception.
"Mahal, tingnan mo mukhang may magpo-propose." Sabi ko. Ngumiti lang siya sa akin.
"Let's go." We just went to a restaurant. Hindi naman kame ganoon ka-gutom kaya mabilis lang kaming natapos.
Pagkatapos lang namin kumain ay naglakad lakad kami. We also took a photo of us. After we had a walk.
"Bihis ka, mahal." Sabi niya sa akin.
"Nakabihis naman ako." Sagot ko pero gets ko ang ibig sabihin niya.
"Suotin mo yung white dress na dala ko para sa'yo."
Nagbihis ako gaya ng sabi niya, it's an off shoulder fitted white dress.
"Where are we going, mahal?" Tanong ko kase na-curious ako. Naka longsleeve din siya na white.
"We're going on a date." Sabi niya sabay kindat sa akin.
Kanina ko pa napapansin ang ka-weirdohan niya. Napansin kong medyo tahimik siya ngayon.
"May nangyari ba, mahal? You look weird." Tanong ko sa kanya.
"No. I'm just... I'm just.. basta malalaman mo din." He reach for my hand and he take me with him.
Nasa elevator kame ng naramdaman kong sobrang pawis ng palad niya. Malamig pa.
"Kinakabahan ka ba? It's just a date, mahal. Don't feel nervous okay?" I smiled at him.
Nasa labas kame nung hotel.
"Mahal, lagyan kitang blindfold ha. It's a surprise." Sabi niya sabay lagay ng blindfold. Nagsimula siyang i-guide ako. "Dito ka lang."
Ako naman yung kinakabahan ngayon. I don't know why pero kinakabahan talaga ako.
May narinig akong music. Unti unting tinanggal ni David ang blindfold ko. And i saw dad, mom and kuya even his sister and parents. May hawak siyang mic.
The next thing i knew kumakanta na siya.

After he sang.
"Uhmm Ma'am. Sir. I am David Nolan Garcia, asking you if i can take your daughters hand. I'm here to ask you if I can make her my wife. I want your blessing, Ma'am. Sir." He asked politely.
"Oo, naman botong-boto ako sa'yo David." Si Mommy.
"Just don't hurt my baby." Si Daddy.
"Go for it bro!" Si Kuya Silas.
"Go! Go! Go!" Si Kuya Stephen
Humarap siya sa akin. Patuloy lang ang luha ko sa pagbagsak.
"I don't know where should I start. Nung nakaraan pa ako kinakabahan habang pinaplano 'to." He chuckled. "So uhm.. my love.. my Serenity.. my everything. I love you so much. I'm not good at speech so bear with me. When i first saw you nagka crush agad ako sa'yo. Alam kong bata ka pa. We promise na magpapakasal tayo in the future. Bubuo tayo ng pamilya. Mahal ko, we've been through a lot nagmahal tayo, nasakatan, nawalan pero eto tayo nanatiling matatag. Nanatiling magkahawak. Kaya sa araw na ito mahal ko, i am asking you to be my wife, to be my partner." Naglabas siya ng singsing. Kaya mas lalo akong napaiyak. "Mahal ko, will you marry me?"
"Y-yes. YES! YES! I'LL MARRY YOU. YES!" Sigaw ko.
"YES! SHE'LL MARRY ME. MY SERENITY WILL MARRY ME." He also shouted. He kiss me after that. His kiss is full of emotions.
"I love you. And i will love you forever."
