As I journeyed through the woods, I can’t help but feel sad and angry at myself. Even though I don't know the reason for my anger.

I knew why Aria suddenly challenged me before entering the kitchen, what I did to her is very traumatic and enough to make an average person loathe the me till death. But why am I regretting it?

But only when she’s with me. I know. Only when she's here will I be able to work freely without any pull to go save her.

The goddess has given me the biggest punishment of my life by making my enemy's daughter the woman I have to protect and I'm going to defy that fuckin rule!

“Are you sure you won’t regret this Leon?” My wolf suddenly asked but I shrugged because I know I won't regret anything.

‘Just watch on. I may regret it and I may not. Lets go for business first’

Alaric observed it’s master before suggesting again, ‘She could cheer up if you bring news from her pack to her?’

News from her pack? Oh yes, that's a good idea.

I had to put on a mask and a cape to conceal my identity as I walked through the bursting market.
I wished Ariadne could come and see her so called people making merry and rejoicing as if nothing had happened to them.

I wasn’t even expecting any distraction until I heard my wolf name. “Alpha Alaric!!”

I turned around and sighted the unexpected Dante running towards me with euphoria.

“Dante!!” I called and waved back at him.

“I have a lot of things to tell you Leon” He almost yelled again and cast me but I put a hand on his lips, "Shhhh, stop yelling my name"

The boy jumped to my shoulder and I carried in piggyback as he played with my hair, “No one knew you wolf’s name except me right?”

“But still don’t always yell like that. They could run away thinking I cam for war” I warned. “How are you these days? And how's the search for your Luna going?”

"Forget about our Luna, people seems to have forgotten about her because Gamma Zelda has now rose to power. She’s controlling the palace now and the bounty hunters are still looking for you” the boy explained.

"Gamma Zelda?" I murmured trying to recollect where I had heard the name before. Then it stuck me! Her so called Gamma friend, “Did you say she now took over the palace?”

"Exactly, I heard it was the Luna who gave her go ahead but she’s now acting as if she was the real Luna from the start. She’s very annoying. Don’t you think so?” Dante asked as we continued to walk.

I was surprised, Gamma Zelda take over the palace when Ariadne is busy blaming me for her misfortune?

"Is there any news about her? I mean the Luna?"

Dante yawned, "That lady left everyone completely. We have no clue about her whereabouts and the elders are still inaistinthat her destined protector will bring her back"

I wanted to laugh out really hard now. So they're expecting me to bring back my enemy's daughter? The same Luna whose father raped me of the right to everything?

They're fuckin crazy.

"But it's good she's not around. Or how will I get to enjoy riding behind you like this?" Dante giggled.

As he adjusted himself behind me, I suddenly notice and injury in his arms, Something like stroke lashes.

My y gaze turned ashen, this boy is like a second son to me I hate seeing him get hurt, I asked, "Who did this to you?"

But Dante yanked his arms away.

"Oh, that's nothing"

"Don't be a saint Dante who did this to you?" I asked more sternly.

Then in a slow tone, the boy confessed, "The butcher took all my money just because complained of how he cheated me and slashed me with his knife"

My eye reddened in anger and my murdering instincts kicked in, "How can they do this to small kid?"

"Hey I'm not a kid" Dante flared back but I rolled my eyes, "They still could kill you!!"

Dante quickly hug my neck, "Don't do anything, just let him be, that's how we deal with each other here in the market, we fight and we become friends again"

I didn't reply him, I dropped him on the ground and brought out a small map leading to my pack, "Dante, let's end this, I want you out of this pack. Here is not safe for you come to wildflower Pack with me" i gave him the map.

"Go to this exact same location and stay there, if anyone questions you, tell them it's from Regaleon, You'll get everything you need from the residents you don't have to suffer again, got that?"

The little boy smiled happily and gave him me peck on the cheeks, "Thank you Leon, I don't care what anyone says you're my angel"

I smiled but I know, deep down inside of me that I'm no angel. I'm a monster! "I'm not an angel Dante, I'm just a normal rouge and I don't want you to end up like me"

"Who says I want to be like you" He joked before running along happily while I watch him happily.

I really love Dante. Everything about him always remind me of myself.
But I'll never let this hiy grown up to be someone who
kills others for a living like me.

But first, let's go see the almighty Luna.
