Regaleon journeyed for two days before getting back to Wildflower Pack.
Luna Aria and Little Phoenix accommodated each other until the night of the third day, After tucking Little Phoenix in for the night, Aria retuned to her room that’s when she noticed the bruise on her left arm, which was gotten from the kitchen she was being transported by Regaleon grew bigger.

She sighed as she thought of what Regaleon said when she asked if he doesn’t hate her, from what he said, He doesn’t really hate her but he loathes her to bone.

“Why doesn’t he just kill me and end the whole torture?, Why doesn’t he just kill me since he can’t bear the sight of me?” She asked Ava.

Ava howled, ‘The more I want to understand him, the more he becomes more deeper and harder to understand’

Ariadne was frustrated with all these turns of emotions and tears cascaded her face.

‘Ava I can’t just be comfortable with all these. The screams of my people haunt me day and night, I can’t sleep peacefully’

Through tears, she raked her hand through her clothes which was already accumulating some speck of dusts then she brought out her eggnog colored dress and pulled out the card Michael had given her when he returned from war,

Aria had picked up the habit of reading his letters to her whenever she was sad, and this night is not an exception.

“Stay strong during our times of peril.
Stay strong and even though you can’t I will.
This card is just a reminder that I’ll be with you forever.
Whenever you need me I’ll be here, because the moon goddess has bind us together and no one can part is”

Aria smiled as she read the letter, Micheal was a wonderful poet. Now she need his soothing words more than anything in the world.
“I know that one day, I will return to the arms of my beloved” She cooed aloud as she reminisced the times they spent together anytime he was around.
Aria couldn’t ask for more because Micheal was always so compassionate and intelligent in dealing with people despite being a warrior and when she was still in her pack, Luna Aria would spent several times imagining her married life with him.
“Go to sleep! It’s not as if the letter can release you from here” She heard the cold clear and serene familiar voice from her doorstep.

“What do you want?” She asked in shock as she looked back and met Regaleon’s cold gaze as he was clad in his black hooded assassin regalia and an axe hoarded over his shoulder.

“Am sorry about earlier, how’s your bruise?” He asked with nervousness that Aria could see through. Ariadne smirked as he sees him like this, “As you can see, it’s still bleeding but you said you won’t be coming back for a few days why are you back now?” She replied with a question.

“I haven’t left yet, I went to your pack”

Aria’s eye lit up in eagerness “Really? Any news about my people? Are you finally considering coming to look for me?”

“Those pack of dogs put reward on anyone who could find me or you, they’re as peaceful as though nothing happened” he replied in a uncaring tone.

Aria’s eyes swelled up in tears again as she heard the news “I don’t come to tell you so you could cry. I just want you to rest, they’re doing fine without you” his voice was calm as he was sympathizing with her.

“But why are you still going to Mooncrest Pack? Phoenix will be happy if you’re here?”

Regaleon’s voice turned ashen again, “None of your concern”

Ariadne got the gist but still trying to play hard to get, she replied, “None of my concern indeed, you’re going to kill somebody anyway”

“You’re right, I’ll be traveling to Mooncrest and assassinate someone, now go to sleep and….” His voice trailed off as soon as he saw the card in her hand.

He stared at the letter and then after a minute he crushed it to a small crumble and threw it back at her.

“He’s a bad poet” He murmured, Aria scoffed.

“You’re not only evil but jealous too” She retorted.

Regaleon who was close to the door stopped as he heard what she just said, “Jealous? I am jealous of your mate? Is that coming from you reading his love letters judging from the fact that you can never leave this place” He said with a tone of finality.

“Never leave this place? Micheal remains my mate and I’ll always love him even if you keep me here for years! Despise you Regaleon Ceaser, You can never know how it feels because you never loved anyone!!”

“Say it again”

“I despise you!!”

“Say it again”

“I HATE YOU REGALEON and I’ll never let you crush donw my ego!” Aria screamed from her lungs.

Regaleon smirked, “Well not as much as much as I hate you and you hate me back doesn’t change the fact that the goddess played a cruel joke on the both of us by making me your protective charm and in fact you should thank your stars that you’re not ruling your pack and having your mate in the Hades!”

“Then fuck you and the goddess!!” Aria can’t help but yell.
Regaleon already opened the door, but he smirked before departing, “Then Fuck you too and your pack”

“Regaleon!!!” Aria shirked but the man didn't reply he only smirked.

Just as she thought Regaleon was gone for real, he suddenly opened the door and peeped, "Oh yes, your so called Gamma Best friend has taken over you palace. So know how you hate me
. Hate them too"

She was about to say another thing but Regaleon is gone.
