Sabrina In Trouble (II)

Sabrina In Trouble (II)
CHAPTER 193
SABRINA'S POV
A guy with wild red hair and an inked drawing around his neck came in.
"Marvin?" Fynn was surprised.
"Let her go, Fynn, or I'll follow my boss's second order if you refuse to comply."
"Which is?" Fynn didn't sound too happy.
"Shoot you dead." He produced a gun from his back in a swift, smooth motion.
There were two other guys behind him.
"What business does he have with her?" Fynn all but spat.
"His special someone needs her alive, and that's all I'm saying. Now, let her go." He cocked the gun.
A whimper left my lips. I didn't know whether to be relieved or be even more scared. How were these people finding me?
Fynn let go of me, raising his hands in surrender. "You know, Kevin is really beginning to piss me off. How did he know where I'd be? Were you both tailing me?"
This Marvin dude chuckled. "Tail you? You must think I don't do my job well if I followed you down here. You, come here." He pointed the gun at me.
With tears falling furiously and my stomach contracting even more in apprehension, I was ready to pass out from the fear.
Slowly, I went to them.
He passed me to the two other guys. They cuffed my hands behind me and then proceeded to blindfold me.
I wanted to ask questions, but for the love of my life, I didn't dare. I kept hiccuping through tears.
"Don't try to follow us, Fynn."
"Tell Kevin he hasn't heard the last of me!" Fynn yelled.
They led me, not so gently, out of the house, down the porch stairs, and through the walkway. The next thing I could feel was myself being stuffed into the booth of a car.
Oh God. I was suffocating.
After what seemed like a long drive, the vehicle finally stopped. I couldn't see a thing. I felt like I was thrown in a void.
My tears must have soaked through the blindfold by now.
The afternoon breeze hit my skin as soon as the booth was opened. Hands pulled me out and led me, again not so gently, towards an unknown place.
I couldn't see anything, so I had no idea where they were taking me.
"W-where..."
"Shut up."
The cold tone had me clamping my mouth shut immediately.
They continued to lead me to wherever, and after what seemed like many walks, I was pushed down to sit on a chair.
The cuffs was unlocked.
When I thought my hands were free, they were pulled to the back of the chair and cuffed. My legs were bound too.
I could barely move.
"Hello, Sabrina."
That voice. It sounded familiar. "Zyliah?"
A low chuckle. Then the blindfold was peeled off my eyes, and I met the unfriendly gaze of my stepsister. "You. You're behind this?"
"Exactly how I felt when you kidnapped me." Her smile was sharp and mean.
Fear gripped me. "Please, d-don't. I… I'm sorry."
"Too late for that."
"How did you find me?" I was trying to keep the tremor out of my voice.
Before she could answer, two men entered.
Sayge and another fine-looking young guy with brown hair and eyes. His presence was intimidating.
"Is this the girl who did all those things to you from when you were kids?" He questioned, sizing me up as though he was trying to figure me out.
He had an accent. It made him... formidable.
"Yes, she is." Zyliah leaned down, holding both sides of my chair for balance. Her eyes mocked and held promises of dark things she planned to do to me.
I blinked, suddenly remembering everything I'd done to her. "I-I'm sorry for kidnapping you. P-please."
"Fear. Anxiety." She sniffled in the air. "Those were exactly the emotions I felt that day, and I begged you... oh, Sabrina, I begged you. But you didn't listen. You killed my unborn child because you wanted Fynn to take you back." A low, chilling chuckle rumbled. "How's that working for you?"
"The said Fynn was already hitting her when we got there." The red-haired guy put in.
"Oh." Zyliah let out a belly laugh. "How pathetic it is to want a man who only harbors scorn and spite for you."
Her words struck many nerves, and tears fell. "You don't have to be mean, Zyliah."
"What did you just say?" She looked offended.
Before I could speak again, her hand had swiped my cheek.
"You stupid bitch! I lost my child because of you. I had bruises in my womb. You're the worst! You and your mother have been tormenting my life ever since you both came into the family." The anger was unleashed. She released another slap.
"P-please. I-I'm pregnant." I tried to use that as an excuse.
"Ah, is that so?" Her smile was mean.
That was when I realized my folly. I shouldn't have said anything. "No. N-no. P-please."
"Get me a plank, please," she requested from one of the guys.
"No, please," I cried. Oh my goodness!
As soon as the guy brought the plank to her, she took it.
"N-no, please. I... I beg y-you." My voice broke into a sob. Fear and apprehension gripped every part of my body.
Her expression was set. She approached me with the plank and landed it on my stomach hard. A sharp pain coursed through me, starting from my waist.
My scream filled the room. She hit me again and again. She didn't stop hitting until I felt like I was gonna die.
Next, she went for my face. My facial bones shifted—or it felt like they had shifted. The pain was blinding. If I wasn't bound to the chair, I'd have collapsed to the ground.
"You cost me a baby. You have brought nothing but pain and humiliation since you and your mother stepped into my life."
She sounded breathless, but she didn't stop. At one point, I could not scream.
Every strength in me was gone. I spurted blood; every part of my body trembled from the pain.
I felt blood—warm and trickling—between my waist.
"Isn't that too much, baby? She's bleeding." I heard Sayge tell her.
"She cannot carry to term. Her womb is destroyed. This isn't her first pregnancy. Once it gets to five to six months, she miscarries. This is me just making it easier for her while getting my payback." When she spoke, her tone was void of emotion.
My head was hung low. I was weak and battered. I was barely holding on to the thin thread of consciousness.
"Babygirl, you seem to have it in you." The guy with the accent spoke.
"Tit for tat, Kevin. Tit for tat. Are the cops on their way?"
"Yes."
"Good. She must go to prison for kidnapping me and killing my unborn child." The hate and anger in her tone was unmistakable.
I felt another hit on the side of my head; I let go of that thread and slipped into unconsciousness.
