Chapter 26 Aetherio’s Mirror
"Anyway, I have gained friends, Kaizer. The wolves didn't take me because I went with them willingly."
When I said this, Randall and Travis turned to us. The arms wrapped around me disappeared.
"You saw me with a wolf. They didn't hurt me, they just needed my help so they were forced to take me. This help I'm giving them might be the reason for your races to get along. We can stop the fighting, deaths, and the never-ending brutality."
The three vampires shook their heads at me at the same time.
"That's too impossible, Saera," Travis said immediately.
"What kind of help did they need from you, Saera?" Kaizer's tone changed towards me.
Should I not have opened this topic?
"I don't need to wait for the blood of the three women anymore. I can treat disease with my blood alone. I helped their leader from a serious illness," I explained softly while waiting for Kaizer's reaction.
"Then, you're willing to bleed to death just to save others? Did you drink the wolf's blood because you did nothing but release your own blood? Don't act like a damn heroic Saera."
I felt my blood boil at Kaizer's words.
"What? I am just helping! Because I know that's right. Don't compare me to you, my environment was not like this. I didn't grow up around with battles and brutality. If I know there's still a way to avoid trouble, I'll do it," I argued sternly.
"But you can't just decide like that, Saera! Think about me too. Your blood belongs to me. You're mine alone, I don't care if they all die from different diseases. My Saera is mine alone, please just be selfish for me, Saera. Just be selfish for me..."
I fell silent at Kaizer's words. I didn't know what to answer him. I can't be selfish. I just can't, Kaizer.
I tried to open my mouth, but I couldn't find any words to argue with him because I knew in myself that he wouldn't understand me. Our staring at each other was only lost when Randall and Travis coughed at the same time.
"We're here, there's no more water. We'll just walk."
Neither Kaizer nor I answered. We didn't walk far until we reached my grandfather's mansion. I immediately noticed someone putting their arm around Kaizer's shoulder, which he quickly removed.
"How was my brother? Am I still a better man?" Gavin asked Kaizer, who was getting angry again.
"Of course, you're more handsome," Kaizer answered absentmindedly, which made Gavin's face twist in disbelief at his answer.
"What happened to him?" Gavin asked Kaizer's two brothers, puzzled.
"He and Saera fought again, those two are really fighting and making up," Travis answered lazily.
"Really? I can steal you now, Saera. You're already off guard."
Gavin was about to approach me when another sharp ice appeared between us.
"Leave her alone, Gavin," Kaizer said coldly, not looking in our direction.
I couldn't help but raise my eyebrow. Mad huh?
We arrived at the mansion with Kaizer not noticing me again, but he didn't allow Gavin to get close to me.
The snow prince is really moody.
I immediately went to my room to change clothes. It probably took me about half an hour before I finished, and when I came out, the four handsome vampires were waiting for me.
I noticed Kaizer's eyes slowly scanning my whole being, and when our eyes met, he quickly looked away. Go ahead, act more, Kaizer Alaric Lancaster.
Throughout the entire trip to the Aetherio palace, Kaizer didn't try to talk to me, and even when we arrived at the Aetherio palace, Kaizer didn't pay attention to me.
We were greeted by the king and his two companions earlier. I didn't waste any more time, something was pushing me to see the Aetherio mirror. I need to see it badly.
"Your majesty, may I see the treasured mirror of this kingdom?"
I felt Kaizer staring at me when I said that.
"Follow me," the king ordered us.
We quickly followed, and I immediately noticed that Gavin was gone, who was just with us earlier.
No one spoke again as we quietly walked towards the Aetherio mirror.
And when we arrived at the door behind which the mirror was, which was the same as my origin, I suddenly got nervous.
I feel different at this time, I don't understand why there is a different energy pushing me to get closer to the magical mirror of Aetherio. The king slowly opened it, and when my eyes met my own reflection from the magical mirror, I felt something raging from within me.
My heart is damn beating so fast. What is this nervousness I'm feeling?
"May I touch it, your majesty?"
I turned to the king, who looked hesitant about my request.
"You can't, Saera. I don't want you getting close to mirrors," Kaizer said coldly to me, finally speaking to me.
"You can, maybe you'll find out when she's coming. I can't wait to see my queen."
I smiled slightly at the king's words as his eyes sparkled, staring at the very elegant mirror. At the top of this mirror is a different design like the mirror that brought me to this world.
Mine was spade and this one is clubs. The second woman will come from here. Is she like me too? Was she also raised to avoid men to remain a virgin because of the blood we keep?
On my first step towards the mirror, my eyes almost widened when I saw a bloody woman from the mirror. She's in pain. And with every beat of my heart, I feel that she is one of the four women. She is the queen the king of Aetherio has been waiting for.
Can they see what I see in the mirror?
"What's wrong?" I heard the vampire man who was with the king earlier ask.
So, I'm the only one who can see.
"I need to enter..." I said sternly.
"What the fuck?! No way."
Kaizer quickly blocked in front of the mirror.
"You can't, Saera..."
He shook his head at me several times. I can't just let what I saw happen.
"Lancaster! I'm warning you. I won't forgive you if the mirror behind you breaks," the king said seriously.
Kaizer didn't flinch at the king's words and remained staring at me.
"King Davian, your queen needs me. We all know that I'm the only one who can pass through that mirror. I don't like what I see in the mirror."
The king stopped at what I said.
"No, no. You're not going back to your world, Saera. Just stay here. You're here for me. If you're mad? Okay, I'm sorry… just just don't leave."
Wasn't he the one mad at me?
"Second Prince of Wisteria, I order you to let this woman pass." the king said sternly.
I noticed that Travis and Randall were also blocking in front of the mirror.
"No, Saera..." Randall and Travis said sternly.
"I am warning you, Lancasters. You're inside my territory," the king said authoritatively.
I noticed that a considerable number of vampires were starting to arrive from different directions.
Damn, this is not good.
