Chapter 25 Vampire Jealousy

Chapter 25 Vampire Jealousy
The woman clinging to the side of the Aetherio king could hardly hide her displeasure, frowning as she stared at me.

"Who is she?"

Her eyes quickly scanned my outfit before returning to Kaizer, who simply stood with his hands on his hips, showing no respect to the Aetherio king.

"She is my mate, isn't she beautiful?"

Kaizer smirked at me before turning back to the nobles of the empire he had disrupted.

"Enough with this, Ember."

The Aetherio king removed the arm wrapped around him. The woman immediately rolled her eyes at me and quickly turned away, scoffing.

What's her problem?

"Do you know the possible punishment for what you've done, Second Prince of Wisteria?"

I heard Travis and Randall cursing under their breath because of Kaizer's behavior, as if he wasn't alarmed by the vampire he was facing.

"What will be my punishment, your majesty? Anyway, I would like to say thank you for this water. My mate badly needs a bath."

I wanted to kick the stubborn vampire for his senseless words to the king. Even his two brothers were holding back laughter.

I noticed the king just sighed at Kaizer's statement.

"I told you, Davian, we better talk to the king than these princes who do nothing but cause chaos," the lazy man said, sitting comfortably on the boat with a crow on his shoulder.

"What the fuck?!" Randall and Travis cursed in unison.

"Why do we always get dragged into your nonsense, Kaizer?" Randall said irritably.

"Let me talk to your mate, Prince Kaizer. I need to ask her something."

The temperature in the entire environment quickly dropped again because of the king's words. Here we go again, Kaizer Alaric Lancaster and his goddamn temper.

"What do you need from her, your majesty?" Kaizer asked sternly.

"I won't steal her, Second Prince of Wisteria. Because I know the queen coming from the other world is far more beautiful."

That completely grabbed my attention. So, one of the four men is the king of Aetherio.

"Your majesty, may I see your mirror?"

The king stared at me before giving a small smile.

"Follow me to the palace."

They didn't wait for our response. The boat they were on started moving again and soon disappeared from our sight.

"I thought Gavin was the one in Aetherio?" I asked, confused.

"Wasn't his mirror broken? I didn't think the king of Aetherio was also crazy about a woman from the mirror. I thought only Kaizer was too dramatic and needed to be chained," Randall said, shaking his head.

"We better go back to Dimitri's mansion before we follow them to the palace."

I quickly nodded at Travis's words because I needed to change clothes. The prince of snow also needs to dress up; I don't want the vampire women in the palace fantasizing about him.

"Kaizer..."

Kaizer remained standing and staring far away.

"Kaizer!" I called him loudly.

He turned to me, looking surprised that I called him.

"Are you chasing after that woman?" I asked irritably.

"No, but there is something with that crow. Did you notice it too, Randall, Travis?" he asked his brothers.

"I thought I was the only one who felt it. Yes, there is something," Randall quickly replied.

"He's holding a different kind of crow. It's like there's a different energy trapped inside. Don't they notice it?" Travis asked, puzzled.

"Anyway, let's go."

With Kaizer's words, the block of ice we were riding on started moving.

"Where is your dress, Saera?" Travis asked me, which only made my cheeks flush.

"It got caught on a tree branch," I replied briefly.

"Oh? Caught by a prince? Let's just call it the Second Prince of Wisteria."

Travis and Randall laughed together. I just covered my ears, even though I could still hear their laughter. These brothers are really annoying.

"Leave her alone, idiots," Kaizer said irritably, starting to stand next to me again.

"Kaizer, I'm reminding you. You can't have her fully yet. You need to wait for the remaining three women," Travis reminded him.

"That three hundred years is deafening. It's always the same," Kaizer said bluntly before leaning on my shoulder and quickly wrapping his arms around me.

"I'm cold, Saera..." he whispered to me.

I almost felt sorry for him because I took his clothes and because of his weak voice, but then I remembered that the power of the man acting up to me right now is snow. Who is he kidding?

"Uhuh? Is it cold, Travis?" Randall chimed in.

"Yes, it's cold, especially when you make the snow," Travis said, laughing, currently sitting next to Randall, who was in front of Kaizer and me.

"Stop me, Saera. I'm going to push those two," Kaizer said softly to me while I felt him gently sniffing my long hair.

"I don't want any trouble, Kaizer. Behave."

I slapped his hand when he tried to undo my first button.

"Do you like the king, Saera?" Kaizer's question made me frown.

"Why would I like him?!"

What is Kaizer getting jealous of?

"I can no longer read your thoughts, Saera. I don't know if you admire other men. This is damn frustrating..."

I frowned even more at what the fanged man was saying.

"Kaizer, are you jealous again?"

Why did I even ask when it's obvious?

"I am," Kaizer whispered to me.

Why do I feel guilty for no reason because of this vampire's tone?

I heard the two vampires in front whistle at the same time.

"He's melting again."

I saw Travis shaking his head in front.

"Let's hope not even the ice we're riding on," Randall said.

Haist. I almost laughed at what Kaizer's brothers were saying.

"One more thing, those two are also melting for me," Kaizer said irritably.

Kaizer's voice changes too quickly, especially when it comes to his jealousy. He becomes really sweet, and when I hear him, it's like I'm a bad person because I don't even consider his feelings. But when he hears his brothers' comments, his voice sounds like he's going to kill someone.

"Oh no, we're evicted later, Travis. We'll just swim to Dimitri's mansion."

Why do vampires have such strong hearing?

"Oh, shut up, Randall. I don't want to swim. And there is something with the water, we can't use our power. Aren't you having trouble with your power, Kaizer?" Travis asked him.

"I am a while ago. Now that Saera is next to me, I'm all good."

I couldn't help but smirk at the sweetness of the fanged man.

"Fuck. Can't talk properly, let's just talk, Randall," Travis said, shaking his head.

"They should find their own mate," Kaizer whispered to me, not leaving his embrace.

Why is it taking so long for this ice to reach the mansion?

"Does grandpa know about this event?" I asked, puzzled.

I don't want to ride Kaizer's sweetness anymore because his brothers will inevitably comment until it leads to trouble again because of the snow prince's short temper.

"Dimitri is not here because he is at a council meeting."

Why does Kaizer know? Isn't his relationship with grandpa not good?
