Bella's POV.
Minutes later, I opened my eyes after loud whiny snarls by the Rogues who vanished into the dark shadows of the forest, then a female Beta wolf confidently ambled closer to me and sniffed me while examining my wound.
Oh goddess, please take my life painlessly. My heart hammered against my chest in fear. Even though my vision was still a bit blurry, I could sense that there were more wolves around me.
But wait a minute, what's that sweet scent accompanied by a lustful desire to be in someone's arms? Did Zach come to my rescue or what? My thoughts lingered, but then again, I caught sight of a new wolf who was not from my pack..., why would she be with him? I wondered but then, the remarkable sensation sent intriguing tingles to my core while my wolf howled frantically within me.
The female Beta snarled in mind linking to whom seemed to be her Alpha while I gave attention to large thudded paws approaching me from behind, and the mouth-watering feeling came to me in full force again as it did with Alpha Zach, I could not resist it anymore and so did my wolf as she wailed merrily within me... I turned around and unexpectedly my eyes met his incredible gaze while the forest faded away as I got lost in the soul of his eyes.
His eyes were dazzled with wonder as they let out a fiery fierce flare of passion and pain, then our mate bond clicked in cementing yet another bond a few hours after I rejected Alpha Zach. My mouth widened open as I gasped for air. Because I was caught off guard by a second mate bond with an Alpha again.
Oh, moon goddess, why me again? I immediately evaded his gaze, while he scoffed loudly.
Can he just get it over with already I sighed heavily? Thinking that the Alpha would reject me there and then.
But Surprisingly enough, he glanced at the wound on my back and growled then crouched down, pulling me into his arms. Intense sparks danced along my skin and I trembled in his arms with a deep desire to be with him for the rest of my life.
“Relax… Alpha saliva heals wounds. I just want to help you.” he declared in a deep voice.
My heart thumped wildly and I didn't know if it was from fear or excitement but I wanted him to take me and mark me already, that's if he wouldn't reject me because I was an Omega. My lips trembled while he leaned over, and ran his rough tongue along my back which instantaneously sent happy weird tingles all over my body. He tensed while holding back with a serious boldface and I moaned out loud to his pleasurable lick.
A few seconds later, my body quivered and snapped out of my trance with short heavy breathing.
Why me? My heart ached in sadness because I knew what followed next, hence I fast-forwarded the moment by asking him the question I dreaded.
"Get it over with," I said in a muffled voice, with tears in the corner of my eyes.
He looked at me with a frown like he didn't know what I was talking about. " What are you talking about?" He raised a question with a stern poise on his face.
"Your rejection Alpha," I said in a shaky voice.
He sneered at my statement with a cocky smirk on his face and scooped me off the ground.
"Where do you stay?" He gazed at me with a fierce stare without answering my question.
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow, like what the hell? answer my question and don't play smart with me. No, goddess, I will not allow what happened with Zach to repeat again…these stupid Alphas think they can reject me in public because I'm an Omega. Hell no!... I wiggled myself out of his grip and landed on my feet.
He struggled as he tried not to make me fall out of his grip, but he was too late. "Hey little girl, your wound is not yet fully healed…and I just want to help you get to your home safely." He spoke with a concerned look on his face.
"First of all, I'm not a little girl... No, Mr, I will not allow you to embarrass me again. So reject me already." I blurted out loud while I folded my arms across my naked body. At that moment I did not care about our naked bodies, all I wanted was an answer from him.
He stared at me with a surprised mug before he chuckled at my statement and signaled his Betas to leave us. They all hurriedly ran in the direction of Rogues.
He came closer to me with a look suggesting he wanted to jump me wolf-style and hump the shit out of me.
My body shuddered at the feeling that I stepped back with my eyes widened while my heart raced vigorously causing me to gasp for air.
"Umm, what do you think you are doing?" My back came to a stop after hitting the bark of a tree and scraped my wound which was not yet fully healed... I let out an agonizing moan accompanied by me almost plunging to the ground, but my knight in shining armor who did not want to reject me openly clasped my hand and gently scooped me off my feet and composed his serious boldface without gazing at me.
Oh shit, this feels like déjà vu. I sighed as images of Alpha Zach carrying me back home from the same forest flooded my memories.
I cringed my eyes and nose while my heart skipped a beat.
Bella, get it together, don't allow yourself to fall for another Alpha who is just going to reject you again. I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him our gazes met each other's and the sparks intensified immensely causing me to swallow hard.
"Where is your home little wolf?" He questioned with steady eye contact.
