98- Jealous B*tch
98- Jealous B*tch
Soon, the time to exchange rings came. I kept looking down shyly when Roy held my hand and slid the ring in my finger.
That look of inexplicable love flashed in his beautiful eyes when I slid the ring in his finger.
“Ah, you have no idea it is more pleasing than imaging.” He grinned.
“True. I never fathomed that this would be this memorable.” I whispered.
His love was my salvation. Wanting nothing but to reside in these arms of solace for the rest of my life.
"Congratulations, Soon-to-be Mrs Layne." Roy said in his deep voice while engulfing me in a hug.
I giggled and replied, "Well, Thank you, My future Husband."
He pulled away and looked at me with those gleaming gazes, "Believe me when you call me that, I cannot tell you how much happiness it provides me." He said happily.
I grinned and pecked his cheeks feeling all too blithe.
I then introduced him to my Aunt and being a king of charm, they liked him instantly because of his flawless and enchanting nature.
After doing a few introductions and stuff, I decided to take a seat and rest since Lesley is nowhere to be found and Roy is busy with someone.
As I was sitting peacefully, Georgia came and hugged me suddenly, startling me a bit, "Congratulations, Lucien’s girlfriend." She said in her sweet voice laced with venom.
“Who the fuck invited you?” I asked, glaring and pushing her away from me.
“Oh, I have my ways. By the way, You did a great job in making both brothers fall for you.” She snickered.
"Too sad you won't be able to do it- even with one brother." I taunted, smiling at her. Her smile faded as she pulled away.
"And yeah, Georgia." I called her and continued.
"Do not forget I am the future wife of Roy Layne. I will appreciate it if you call me Mrs Layne than this name."
A smile plastered over my lips along with my words dripping with hatred.
She grit her teeth as wrath burned in her eyes and she scowled, "He was in a relationship with me and Hailey as well. How come he wants to marry a low level assistant like you?"
"Maybe because he loves that 'low level assistant' more than you guys." I said, shrugging my shoulders, feeling victorious.
My blood boiled in anger upon seeing her because I knew she helped Roy in his revenge and I was amazed she managed to do something after Lucien’s warning.
She was a brave one.
“And now, are you going to leave on your own or should I call security?” I asked, closing my arms but then I returned a smirk.
“Or better? How about Lucien?” I asked and ah, the horror which flashed in her eyes, she panicked to hear his name.
She mumbled something under her breath and then smirked hysterically at me, what he had done to her?
"We will see."
“No, no, I won’t bow this time-” Wrong choice.
Menace glistened in her eyes which alarmed me about her upcoming action. Thankfully she doesn't have a drink or I thought she would spill it on me again.
“What-”
I raised an eyebrow at her and she walked after me but I just kept looking at her, wanting to know what she wanted to do.
She moved behind me and leaned in still emitting that dark aura. "Good Luck, Bride." She snickered and pulled the zip of my dress upwards, ripping it off.
Before I could react she pushed her hand down, opening the zipper of my dress. I gasped and she laughed and walked back.
"You are a desperate, jealous, bitch." I growled at her as I put my hand over my back so the dress wouldn't fall.
She left and continued to curse her under my breath, becoming tense. That was what I was fearing, I knew one of his infatuations would be like this.
“There is trouble.” I sighed heavily and looked around to find Aunt, Lesley or even Hailey.
I even looked for Eri to find Roy but none of them were here. I feel scared that my dress might not fall.
I kept looking around for someone to help and soon the announcement for the new couple to dance reached my ear.
“Wow, what a timing.”
I was stiff as my heart skipped a beat. I gulped and saw Roy coming in my direction. I opened my mouth to say something but he pulled me up.
His one hand held my back firmly as he pressed his body against mine and moved to my neck, whispering.
"Don't move. It's okay. Bear with it."
"Roy.. my d-dress." I stuttered. We moved as he didn't pull me away from him as we began to dance.
"I know, don't worry. I just called the security to throw her out. Lucien will deal with it, don’t let it ruin our day." He whispered as sweetly as possible for my reassurance.
"I am sorry, I couldn't be able to come sooner. But don't you worry.. I am here, I will protect you. When I am here, you don’t have to be worried about anything, " He said sincerely with a grin.
I smiled back and put my head on his chest, moving slowly with the rhythm of the music as it evoked blissful sensations in us.
"I love you, Roy. I am so happy." I whispered earnestly.
"I love you too, Garnet." He whispered back and we continued to dance.
Soon, we pulled away a little, he walked me to the pillar.
I pressed my back against it and Roy said reassuringly, "I will go and get someone. You stay here, okay?" I smiled and nodded and he left to get someone.
Soon Lesley and Hailey came looking worried.
"You okay, Garnet? I am so sorry." Lesley said apologetically, scanning me.
"It's fine. Just do something about this first." I said grumpily.
They nodded and we went to the bathroom as they secured the dress back with safety pins but this was not enough for Lesley as she wanted to show her stitching skills.
"Enough, Lesley." I whined.
"Where did she even get that needle and thread?" Hailey asked.
"She keeps them with her all the time." I groaned.
"For emergency purposes like this." Lesley said with a smug look. I complained and Lesley scolded,
"Just a little. Stay still woman." She scolded me, "I will secure it so that it won't fall ever again." She said proudly again.
"I have to take it off too." I reminded her and upon hearing it she stopped and pulled away instantly.
"Ops." She said all too innocently. I gasped as Hailey burst into laughter.
"What the hell, Lesley?!" I yelled at her.
"Our work is done, come on, Hailey. Enjoy Garnet." Lesley cooed, waving at me and dragging Hailey with her. My jaw dropped looking at them. They cannot leave me like this.
“Come back, you damn-” When I walked out, I stumbled upon Roy.
"What happened? Took you long enough." He asked, arching a brow at me.
"Lesley stitched the dress." I frowned.
"So..?" He asked, not understanding.
I sighed and replied, "How will I take it off? She sealed it completely."
"I can help you with that." He smirked,
“I would love to rip it open.” He said temptingly but I moved his hand back and blushed furiously and stuttered.
"N-No thanks. I am fine." He chuckled and pulled me into a side hug.
"Okay, Come on." I smiled and we went back.
I could feel this feeling of endearment in my very soul. My heartbeat began to call him. I couldn't be more happy. I couldn’t believe this was real.
I smiled brightly, knowing this is the most memorable event of my life as every moment is carved in my heart.
My breaths stopped, my heart beats, my eyes sought, my lips called... you and you alone.
