“Mike, the wanted man, isn't it?” the young man asked.
Mike and Mason were shocked, by the way the young man quickly identified Mike. “How do you quickly deduce who he was?” Mason asked.
“Come on, it is only the dumbasses, that will get fooled by that disguise, and I think everyone here is dumb,” the young man said. He looked around and he chuckled.
“And that is why you keep winning right?” Mike asked, with his disguise on.
“Yeah, I think so,” the young man said.
“Can we have a seat? We would like to discuss something with you,” Mike said. He smiled and he looked at the young man.
“Really?” the young man asked. As he looks at Mike and Mason skeptically.
Mason was becoming a bit nervous because the sense of courage Mike the young man spoke with unmatched his, Mike was not shaking with the fact that the young man had deduced his identity.
“Yes..yes, really, it is important,” Mason said. He looked at Mike and the young man who maintained his mischievous smile.
“Okay, better be quick,” the young man said.
Mike smiled and he asked, “What is your name?”
The young man sat down on a chair, Mike and Mason joined him and he replied “Matthew,”. With a smile on his face.
“No, that is a false name, try again,” Mike said. He knew that the young man lied to him.
The young man laughed and he said: “Okay, you got me, it is John,”. He adjusted his tie.
Mike smiled again and he replied, “Look we are here to help you, so for the last time, what is your real name?”. Mike was no longer smiling.
The young man knew that he was serious and he stopped the joke and he said: “My name is Trevor, that is it,”.
Mason sat down there and marveled at what he had just seen.
“That is better,” Mike said. He smiled again.
“I don't know that, a wanted man, like you will be this intelligent, so what are we going to talk about?” Trevor, the young man asked.
“Your sister, don't you want to know what happened to her, I mean how she died? The man behind it, took someone precious to me and precious to you, I mean don't you think that we have a common enemy, I think it will be interesting to know about our enemy,” Mike said. With a smile on his face.
Trevor was shocked, he sat upright, and he asked “How do you know about my sister?”
Mike adjusted his seat and said “The right question is who is this man? And how can I get him? Isn't it?” Mike asked. While Jason sat down there watching Mike and Trevor Lucy's brother discuss.
“Okay, I am listening,” Trevor said.
Mike smiled.
Meanwhile at billionaire Andrew’s mansion, Miss. Jane was visited by a police officer, enquiring about any information about a stolen arcade necklace.
Miss. Jane is in fear and shock over the visitation of the police officer because it has been long. Since she was invited or interrogated by the police, and she doesn't want dirt on her name, even though her father is a bit of a chameleon that has some controversial conspiracy theories but she doesn't want that to be part of her, and this necklace was going to be the thing that is going to stain her.
Miss. Have was ushered into the living room of the house by the butler, where the officer waited for her. Miss. Jane saw the political officer, he was not wearing a uniform, he was on civilian clothing.
As miss. Jane walked into the parlor, she observed the police officer, he looked a bit rough in his facial appearance, she thought that maybe, it might be one of those, crime unit department officers, she assumed that those officers didn't look friendly.
“Good day, how may I help you officer?” miss. Jane asked.
“My name is Officer Jacob, crime unit department, we suspected that an arcade diamond necklace was stolen last night, and we have a piece of information that, a diamond necklace was delivered to you, is that correct? And if so, do you mind if I searched?” Officer Jacob asked. He flashed his identification card in Janes's face.
“Oh I see, but I am sorry, I did not receive a package of necklace from anyone, I know you are doing your job but there is a misunderstanding somewhere. U promise If I receive a necklace, I will call the police department immediately, you have my word,” Jane said.
“Alright, my college, will come back later, have a good day,” the officer said, and he left the house.
Miss. Jane gasped and she rushed straight to her room immediately.
Now back to Mike and Mason.
“Are you sure, he is going to do it?” Mason as Ed, as they come out of the casino.
“Yes, he will,” Mike replied, Mike got a text, he smiled and he decided to give, Jane a call.
“Hello Jane,” Mike said over the phone.
“Mike, thank goodness you called, with the same anonymous number, why did you steal the necklace? And a police officer came to the house, why did you steal it?” Jane asked.
“I want to show that I love you, is it not what you want?” Mike asked.
“Yes but not like this,” Jane replied.
“Okay, what should I do?” Mike asked.
“Send it back,” Jane said.
“Okay, I will send a text message about where we will meet, have you seen your mom?” Mike asked.
“Not yet, but I will visit her later,” Jane replied.
“Alright, speak to you later,” Mike said, as he ended the call.
As soon as Mike needed the call, Jane dropped the phone on the table and he breathed out, as a sign of relief.
Jane looked at the Diamond necklace in the package that almost got her in trouble, she did not care to run a diamond test on it, she just wanted it gone from her sight.
Miss. Jane quickly packaged the box and she kept it under a table and she covered it with a cloth.
When done, she decided to visit her mom as planned, to get answers.
Miss. Jane went through the mail, she had gotten from her mom, she knew where she was staying. She dressed up and went downstairs.
“May I ask where is the mistress going this afternoon, in case her father inquiries,” the butler asked.
“I am going to see a friend and one more thing put out a vacancy, a job vacancy for a secretary role sign, I want to employ someone as my secretary,” Jane said.
“Okay, I will,” the butler said.
Jane left the house.
Jane traced the address on the mail to her mother's residence.
Miss. Jane got to the door and pressed the doorbell and she waited. She exhaled and waited for the outcome.
Mrs. Louis Andrew opened the door and she was surprised to see her daughter, a grown woman, she was emotional, and so was Jane.
“Mom, I am home. We have a lot to discuss about Dad,” Jane said.
