Chapter 298 Escaping from Escort!
Chapter 298 Escaping from Escort!
Flashback One Hour- Two Hours Before!
Eve hung up and then looked at her mobile phone with a confused and curious look.
"Who are they? What do they want? What are they going to say? I'll try to meet them!" Eve decided to finally meet the caller who contacted her.
Eve remembered something, she finally wrote a letter to Allan before she left! Eve thought, it's better after meeting the person then she will go straight to Allan's grandfather's house!
'But how can she get out of Allan's house without being suspected by Allan's guards?' Eve thought hard about what to do, finally she smiled.
She quickly picked up her bag and put some items that she considered important such as; important documents, wallet, mobile phone, into her bag. Then she hurriedly went downstairs to look for her daughter.
Eve found Aleena in the corner of the gazebo near the swimming pool. Eve knew that since they moved here, this place was one of Aleena's favorite places when she was upset or angry.
"Aleena baby..." Eve called out to her but Aleena tilted her body to the side when she heard her name being called by her Mummy.
Eve smiled, "Listen, dear. Do you want to meet Grandpa?"
Aleena turned her head, "So are we going to Grandpa's house, Mummy?"
"Ehem! But on one condition!" said Eve again.
Aleena pouted, "There's always a condition, what's the condition Mummy?"
"It's easy! Come closer!" Eve gave Aleena the code.
Despite her annoyance, Aleena pulled herself closer to Mummy.
Eve lowered her face and whispered something in Aleena's ear.
"How'd it go? Deal? We can only leave this way without being suspected by your Daddy's bodyguards! Can you do it?" Eve asked again.
Aleena stood up on the gazebo so that she was now level with the Mummy and held out her hand, "Deal!"
Eagerly, Aleena climbed down from the gazebo and tugged on Mummy's hand, "Come on...Mummy, let's do it!"
Eve smiled and then she whispered, "Are you ready?"
"Ready, Mummy!" Aleena exclaimed firmly.
"Ok, let's get started, cry loudly if you can!" Eve called back as she saw one of the waiters passing by and gave the code.
"Now!" whispered Eve.
Aleena began to cry and tears began to appear in the corners of her eyes, Eve who saw it was silent and looked at her.
"Wow...you're good at acting, Aleena!" Eve exclaimed.
Aleena glared, "Mummy! Focus Mum! It's your turn!"
"Ah, okay!" Eve made a little face as if she was panicking.
"Hua...Hua...I want Ice Cream!" Aleena shouted.
"Aleena, can we have ice cream tomorrow? The ice cream is running out in the fridge, or can we wait for Daddy to come? He'll be here just before lunch! Besides, it's lunchtime soon, baby....so it's not good to eat ice cream before lunch!" Eve tried to persuade Aleena who was now crying bitterly.
"I don't want to! I want it now! Now Mummy!" Aleena screamed.
"But..." Eve hesitated a little and looked uneasy.
A servant of Sam's trust approached her with a salute.
"What's wrong, madam? Can I help you? Why is little Miss crying?" She asked.
"Ah, that...she asked for Ice Cream! But after checking in the fridge, the ice cream is gone! Meanwhile, she's whining to get it now....but...we can't go out without Allan's approval, can we?" Eve looked desperate.
Hearing Eve's answer Aleena cried even louder, "Huaa...Hua...Daddy Bad! Mummy Bad! I just want Ice Cream but you won't let me have it! I hate you!" Aleena said, turning round.
"Mistress, how about I help you buy some? I'm sorry but Madam and Little Miss are not allowed to go out without an escort, Madam! Sorry!" exclaimed the waiter, looking down.
"It's not your fault! But Aleena has a bit of a different taste, she...only wants to get her own ice cream! Because the flavors she likes are a bit unique! So usually when we buy ice cream Aleena has to come along, otherwise she won't eat it! Yesterday there was a flavor of ice cream that she liked in the fridge, but...it was gone! Why don't we buy some for her? It's just in front of the gate, it's not far from here! Is it okay...we'll just go for a while?" exclaimed Eve, looking anxious.
"Sorry, Madam..but.." the maid hesitated a little, she couldn't call Mr Sam to decide, because Mr Sam happened to be going somewhere to buy something. The maid who usually did the shopping was sick so since Mr Sam knew the needs of this house best, he was the one who went shopping.
"Hua...you guys are evil! Evil!" Aleena cried even more and started rolling around on the floor now. Of course, this made the maid panic even more.
"Little Miss! Don't! You'll get your clothes dirty!" she called back.
"I don't care!" Aleena was getting more and more agitated.
The waiter's face was clearly flustered, but he remembered one of Mr Sam's messages, that they should serve both of them and give them whatever they asked for. Finally remembering this, the servant sighed.
"Alright! But with the escort of one of the bodyguards! Otherwise, sorry, we can't give you permission! Mr Watson will be furious with us if he finds out Madam and Little Miss went out unescorted!" the servant exclaimed again.
Aleena looked at Eve, but Eve nodded her head, "That's fine as long as they keep their distance! We don't want it to be too obvious that there is an escort!" Eve exclaimed again, she had already thought of a backup plan if this happened. Where they still go out with an escort.
"Alright, Mistress, wait a minute!" The maid called one of the bodyguards over the intercom near the dining table to the kitchen.
Not long after, a bodyguard and the waiter approached the Madam and said, "Madam, please follow this bodyguard! He will accompany Madam and little Miss to buy ice cream!"
"Thank you!" exclaimed Eve nodding to the waiter.
"Please Madam, the car is waiting in front!" said the bodyguard.
"Yeach!! Ice cream!" Aleena shouted as she stood up and dusted off her dress and wiped away her tears. Aleena quickly grabbed her Mummy's hand and dragged her out of Allan's house.
The servant looked doubtful at the two, 'Ah, I hope I did the right thing! It looks like Miss Aleena just wanted an ice cream, so it shouldn't be a problem, right?" the waiter said to himself.
The waiter started to walk into the kitchen but he stopped for a moment thinking, 'But why do I feel uncomfortable about this? Ah, never mind, it's probably just my feelings! There's no way they're going to run away from home, right? It looks like they didn't bring anything with them! Other than the bag that Madam is carrying! Well, maybe it's just me! I'd better get back to work!'
With a shake of her head she went back to work in the kitchen which was her job.
While Eve, who was riding in the car with Aleena, looked at each other, Eve nodded her head as they passed a small convenience store.
"Stop! Let's go there! There's a convenience store! I think it sells ice cream!" Eve exclaimed again.
After reaching their destination, Eve and Aleena got out of the car, but Eve held back the bodyguard who wanted to go inside with them.
"You better keep watch at the door of the convenience store! We're not going anywhere! Besides, it would be too conspicuous with your outfits if you were next to me! Understand, I don't want them to know we are part of the Watson family!" Eve exclaimed against her.
"But, Madam..." exclaimed the bodyguard again.
"No need for buts! Just get on with it!" As Eve said this Aleena cried out.
"Mummy! Mummy! Hurry up...Mummy!"
"Yes, dear! Look at my little princess already screaming! Keep watch at the front!" Eve stared at the man and walked resolutely towards Aleena.
The bodyguard could only let out his breath, the bodyguard knew Mistress Eve always didn't want her position to be discovered by the crowd especially after Allan announced it...her face would be recognised more! That's why she wore dark glasses today!
When the entrance to the convenience store seemed to be followed, Eve let out her breath in a gasp! She wasn't used to being like this before.
Eve talked to a cashier in a whisper while pointing out the man in front of her. And the cashier nodded his head while showing Eve the direction.
Eve and Aleena left through the back way, stopped a taxi and left the convenience store.
"Puff! Thank goodness we got out of there unnoticed! Sir, we're going to Johnsonville Road!" exclaimed Eve.
"Mummy, what did you say to the cashier? Did he let us out the back door?" asked Aleena curiously.
"Ah...that...Mummy said...."
