Ethan entered the banquet hall, found a corner to sit in, and started drinking alone, drowning his sorrows in alcohol.
Meanwhile, at a table near the front of the hall, Christine Thomas was flirting with Andrew Johnson. Knowing the Johnson family was extremely wealthy and powerful, Christine aimed to seduce Andrew.
She even went so far as to flash her cleavage at Andrew. As a playboy, Andrew didn't reject Christine's advances. If it weren't for the crowd, he would have liked to take her right there.
As the two were flirting, Sharon walked over. Andrew suddenly became serious; he pushed Christine aside, straightened his clothes, then turned to Sharon with a smile on his face, saying, "Sharon, you're back!"
Andrew smiled at Sharon, leaving Christine, who was just playing flirtatious games with him, out in the cold. It was clear that Andrew preferred Sharon!
Christine was furious, stomping her foot and grabbing a glass of wine to gulp down in one go. Sharon was also quite angry and did the same with another glass!
Noticing Sharon's anger, Christine asked, "Sharon, what's wrong?"
Sharon Thomas put down her glass angrily, "Ethan is stalking me, he's here too!"
"What, that loser is following you?" Christine was surprised.
She also cursed, "Ethan is such an annoyance! But you don't have to take him seriously, after all, you're not in the same world anymore."
At this moment, Andrew Johnson seemed to see an opportunity and spoke with a smile, "Sharon, are you in trouble? If you need anything, just say the word. There's nothing in Lindwood City that The Johnson Family can't handle."
His eyes were full of concern and admiration.
Christine chimed in, "Mr. Johnson, Sharon has run into her ex-husband Ethan, a leech and a loser!"
"Sharon supported Ethan for three years, and now that they're divorced, Ethan is still pestering Sharon, probably trying to get money from her."
Andrew angrily said, "Such a high-end event is tainted by this kind of trash, and moreover, he dares to bother Miss Thomas, I must teach him a lesson!"
With that, guided by Christine, he quickly found Ethan in the corner, wallowing in his drink.
Andrew walked straight up to Ethan, his tone cold, "Is this a place for trash like you? Do you have an invitation? If not, get out!"
Ethan frowned at Andrew. Did he need an invitation to drink in his own hotel?
Seeing Ethan couldn't produce an invitation, Andrew sneered, "I knew you were just here to freeload, maybe you even have ulterior motives!"
"Since you don't have an invitation, get out immediately!" Andrew barked.
The scene caught the attention of everyone in the hall.
That guy who was chased by Ella Davis is causing trouble again?
The crowd, looking forward to the drama, watched eagerly.
Ethan furrowed his brows, "You're not from The Cloud Group, right? What right do you have to ask me for an invitation?"
Andrew snorted with pride, "I may not be from The Cloud Group, but I am the eldest son of The Johnson Family, Andrew Johnson!"
At his declaration, the crowd turned their heads. The Johnson Family's strength was top-notch in the entire banquet hall, and no one dared to underestimate it.
The crowd wore playful smiles, thinking Ethan was in for bad luck for offending Andrew Johnson.
Andrew boasted, "Though I'm not from The Cloud Group, The Johnson Family has always had business dealings with The Cloud Group, and we have a good relationship. As the eldest son of The Johnson Family, maintaining order for The Cloud Group and dealing with freeloaders and swindlers like you is part of my duties."
"If you don't want to get beaten, leave immediately!"
His words caused a stir in the hall.
"So Ethan is just a freeloader and swindler, probably Ella was also fooled by his sweet talk!"
"How does The Cloud Group's security work, letting such people in!"
"Fortunately, Andrew discovered this swindler. He truly is the heir of The Johnson Family!"
Andrew Johnson stood with an air of righteousness, and the crowd's admiring gaze made him the center of attention, a feeling he's enjoyed since the day he was born.
Among the crowd, Sharon Thomas watched Ethan being scolded by Andrew Johnson and ridiculed by everyone, a sense of vengeful pleasure appearing on her face.
