Cayden's reaction stunned Maximiliano. Cayden was furious and Max knew he had to speak quickly else Cayden would rain on his parade. From this encounter, he can imagine the hell Elodre had been through. Quickly, he slipped out a sheet from a big brown envelope and stretched it to Cayden.

And Cayden's eyes trailed from Max's head down. He was visibly furious and had reddened. His arch-shaped thick brows were deeply furrowed such that veins striped on his forehead. His eyes were as red as crimson. “The fuck is this?!” He yelled as fury soared inside of him. “Said what the hell is this, huh?!”

“I ran a DNA test and…”

“DNA what?!!” Cayden slammed the table with his big fists, his whole body trembling in rage. “Now take that fuckin kid outta here!!!”

“B…but, sir…”

“Now!!” Cayden thundered and Maximiliano moved backward.

“Please, sir…I…I can explain…”

“You're straining my patience!!! Young man!!” In a fit of rage, Cayden snatched the DNA result, and ripped it apart, and Maximiliano gasped in astonishment.

Maximiliano's wide eyes were glowing with disbelief.

“And I never wanna set my eyes on you anymore!!!” Resting his elbow on the table, Cayden was pointing at him, gesticulating violently.

Raiden's innocent and bewildered gaze was fixed on Cayden. He was shuddering at the deafening thunder of Cayden's angry voice. Shortly he began to sob but didn't dare to move. He was so pale and lean…but Cayden was too angry to notice that. Not like he cared.

Cayden sprung from his chair. Furiously, he pushed his table and stormed over to the doctor who winced but Cayden grabbed his tie ferociously. “The next time you dare step your feet into my building and mention Elodre!!!” He roared. “I swear with my life I'm gonna kill y’all!!!! Do you feel me?!”

“Y…yes, sir,” Stuttering, Maximiliano stood still below Cayden who was taller and huge than him.

“So now take that motherfuckin kid outta my office!!” Cayden shoved Maximiliano away with so much momentum and Max lost balance. “That boy isn't my fuckin son!! Like it or not!!! And if I set my eyes on him a second time I swear to rip his face off!!! Now get lost!! Take him out!!!” Cayden gestured to the door. “Bullshits!!! Fuckin bullshit!!”

At the drop of a hat, Doctor Maximiliano took the crying kid out of the office.

“Damnit!!” Cayden cursed savagely as he stormed back to his seat. Placing both elbows on the pieces of paper on the table, he cupped his face in his palms and let out a trembling breath. His anger was at its peak and he felt choked. He never expected that!!

Standing outside Cayden's office, Maximiliano was trying to pet the kid. He arranged his rumpled tie and shirt. He noticed Kate stealing glances at him and a pang of embarrassment and frustration hit his face hard. What would he tell Elodre? He wondered, exhausted already. At least he's tried his best.

Maximiliano couldn't help the frustration. The situation was so disappointing. Now he's no alternative than to fly back to Canada.

In a couple of hours, Cayden cooled off a bit. Damn!!! He needs to fuckin drink!! He thought furiously.

He blew out heavily and gazed down at the torn papers on his table. He was about to look away when he caught a glimpse of something that intrigued him. His gaze fixed on a part of the torn papers, he picked it up and God knows he never intended to read it…but here he was. Most of the paper was torn…but…

Wait ... wait. What?!! You mean…

Cayden's eyes widened in astonishment. The hell?! His lip dropped. He gazed into space in disbelief and pondered for a while then gazed at the small paper in his hand and felt his world clashing before him. Sweat began to drip from his forehead as he felt a swirling sensation in it. This can't be true… is it?

He rubbed his eyes and reread it…yet it's true?!! Damn!!! Is this fuckin true??!! So…wait. Oh my God!!! His hands clenched in a fist. He's certainly getting a high fever from this.

“So…so you mean m…my wife did nothing wrong?! You mean she never cheated?” Cayden was so engulfed that he did not realize he was saying this aloud. “Sh…she's not been seeing another man, huh? And…and Raiden is my son?! My boy? Damn! Dammit!!”

At this point, Cayden thought he was between two strange worlds. So, his wife was innocent, and he…

Something was tickling his eyes and as he blinked, tears rolled down his cheeks. He was in shock. His wide eyes were full of bewilderment and curiosity as a hard knot tightened in his stomach. This report has just asphyxiated him.

Has he been hurting his wife unknowingly? ‘Damn, don't tell me I've been hurting my wife, screaming at her…hitting her for no fuckin reason…please.’ He wept. He's been accusing her over something she knew absolutely nothing about…yet sh…she never mentioned it to him? She didn't tell him? Why didn't she tell him about it? Why didn't she call his attention and talk about It? Why did she hide such a burden from him?

Unable to stifle it, he burst out in tears. He can't believe he's been hitting his wife. Can't believe he's been yelling and saying all of those hurtful things to his innocent wife…and his kid. Damn!! He can't believe he kicked her out into that terrible storm after beating her up with so much rage. Why were things so twisted? He wondered. Who was that guy he saw at home? That means his wife never invited that guy!

His face damned with tears, Cayden was lost in thoughts. She's afraid of him! Has he unknowingly traumatized his woman…and frightened her?! His little beautiful innocent wife? The love of his life? He recalled how frightened she was each time she saw him. Is there something hidden she never told him? What could it be? And now…his brother…oh damn!

What in this world could she have been hiding from him? He wondered, recollecting those sad and anxious looks in her eyes. That thin pale face. That bruised slender body. He's been so hard on her and never gave her the chance to speak. Is that why she wept every second? Damnit!!

Cayden wiped his face with his hands and tried to gather the papers. “Oh, my poor wife…oh my God!” He mumbled. He's going to find his wife!! He's gonna search for her right now! Damn! He's been so horrible!!! A horrible husband to his…his baby…
