Special Chapter II

Yuri's POV

I fixed my hair and went out of the cubicle. Finally Selena is getting married, I know they can make it.

I saw Ciro on the opposite end waiting for Selena. I fix my hair and walked on the aisle. I wonder when I will wait for my special someone at the altar too.

I smiled at Ciro and patted his shoulders.

"Take care of my baby." I said.

"I will always make her happy." He smiled.

I sat down on the seat that is reserved for me and watch Selena walks down the aisle. She is so damn stunning, no wonder being a Santiago is a privilege.

Since then, I know that their love will last forever. I was there with Selena when she left Ciro. I saw how she struggled every night crying accepting the fact that they are not meant for each other. I was there when Prince started to hit on her but then failed. Their love for each other never fails and that's the good thing.

"I now pronounced you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Everyone clapped when they kissed in front of us. Hope all lol HAHAHHA.

"Looks like someone is envy." Carylle whistled.

"Stop, I'm not." I protested.

"Let's go baby. We'll go ahead to the reception Yuri." Gio held his waist.

Damn why I'm so single for this?

"Ok, take care."

I saw Selena smiling at me. I walk towards her and gave her a hug. This is our first hug since she became Mrs. Privino.

"Always be happy ok? I don't want to see your precious tears fall again." I smiled.

"I'll be happy Yuri. Thank you for everything, you are the best cousin ever." She kissed my cheeks.

"And you will always be my loud cousin." I laughed.

"Let's meet at the reception Yuri." Ciro patted my shoulders.

"Congratulations man." I smiled.

"Thank you."

I find my car keys and make my car beep. I let them go first before I go behind them. I was about to go to the reception when I saw a familiar face at a restaurant.

Her fair skin, kissable lips, red cheeks and perfect smile. It's her, I couldn't be wrong.

I stopped my car and park it on the parking area. I don't know what to do. After 5 years I saw her again. Where did she go?

I went inside the restaurant and went towards her. She's sitting at a four person table with no one with her. I sighed and decided to talk to her, I might lose my chance if I didn't.

"Hi." I greeted.

She looked so shocked when she saw me. An awkward smile plastered on her face and waved her hand.

"Yuri, long time no see." She nodded.

"Yeah, where have you been? I looked for you in every country I've been." I frowned.

"I'm sorry." She smiled.

I called the waiter and order something for us. I didn't even care if I'll be late for the reception, I just need her explanation.

"Why did you leave?" I asked.

"I need to." She smiled.

"Uhm do you have any social media accounts? So I can contact you?" I asked even if I knew she will never give it to me.

"For what? I don't have any social media accounts. Just my number."

"Honestly Ferry, I'm still stuck." I faked a laugh.

"I'm still here to the place where you left me. Seeking for a sign that you'll comeback. Like maybe one day, I'll saw you with your wide arms welcoming me back." I frowned.

"We have our own lives now Yuri. I have my life and you have yours—"

"But I want a life with you." I said.

She didn't speak and just stared at me. I looked at his eyes, those eyes that are full of desire when we make love several times before. Ferry, please comeback.

"Here is my number but please don't ruin my life." She said coldly.

I saved her number and nodded. I just want to be part of her life even if it's just a friendship.

"You can go now." She said with no emotion on her face.

I was about to go when a boy and a little girl entered the restaurant. They are looking at Ferry. Is she married now?

"Mommy, I missed you already!" The little girl giggled while hugging Ferry.

Pain crumpled my chest when I saw her kissing the little girl. The guy behind him just smile looking at the two. Can I just be that man? Am I too late now?

"Mommy who is he?"

"He's my—"

"I'm your mommy's friend." I smile.

"Wow, you look like an Attorney." She giggled.

"Because I am." I smiled.

"Daddy is an attorney too right mommy?" The little girl giggled and Ferry just closed her eyes.

I stand up and smiled.

"I'm going to leave now." I smiled.

"Take care Attorney." The little girl smiled at me.

"I'll buy you a toy when we meet again."

"Promise?" She showed her pinky.

"Pinky swear." I said and walked away.

So she marry an attorney? Why she didn't chose me?
