Chapter 51!
Elise POV:
I decided to ignore the voice. It’s just a hallucination so nothing to really worry about. Right?
I walk inside. I see Kyros looking through a book at the table. I walk up behind him and hug him from behind. I lay my head on his shoulder.
His warmth instantly brings me comfort. He lets me keep hugging him as he picks up a different book.
“Did you just need some comfort,” he asks me. I nod against his shoulder. “I will gladly be that comfort you need anytime, Elise.”
“Thank you,” I say.
We stay in that position for a while until my back starts to ache from leaning down. I step back and stretch. I head down to his room, which has kind of become our room.
I get ready for bed and sit on it. I decided to pull out the journal. I guess reading it a little won’t hurt, hopefully.
I know you have lots of questions about your transition. If you haven’t transitioned by the time you are 21 then it’s going to be super painful for you. It’ll take a while for your wings to pop out but that's what will be the most painful.
But if things are going how I think they are, then you are fighting the transition. That is making it more painful. Your body keeps going through surges of anger. It’s full of rage. It’s only going to keep getting stronger.
Flowers can help release some of that anger. They have the power to help your energy flow better. If you feel out of control laying in a bed of flowers can help calm you down.
Control is another thing you will struggle with. Storms will rage around Faer Elven. You need to try to keep as calm as possible, your storms could cause harm. I know you don’t want to hurt anyone.
I am fairly certain you may also not want to go with Ezra. He can help you though. I know it from deep within me that he won’t harm you. You are destined to be his Queen. Let him help you. Even if you don’t go with him.
I know things are super confusing. And you are probably trying to figure out what is true or not. There are signs that you are my sweet child, even if you don’t believe it.
Once you fully accept that you are a dark faerie then transition will come quicker. Your powers will come full force and you will need to learn how to control them, as well as use them. You will be in your full faerie form for a while. Transitioning back and forth may be hard the first few times. But it’ll get easier as time goes on.
But once you become a faerie, things will change drastically. You will have choices to make. But the most important one is that you will have to choose Ezra. He is destined to be with you. Together you will make Faer Elven a better place. But before you choose him there will be a very hard choice for you to make. I hope you choose to stay here. Faer Elven is your home. Don’t let your head take charge of this. Follow your heart.
I will be here for you with whichever choice you make. I know I can’t physically be with you now but one day we will meet again my sweet child.
These are all dated so I skip to the pages at the end. I need to read about what happened surrounding my birth. From what I have read it seems like she knows things that were going to be happening many, many years later.
I settled on a day after my birth. Let’s see how this goes.
Elise, my sweet child. You were born yesterday. You are so beautiful. You have the bluest of eyes and the cutest birthmark near your belly button. You have such a bright smile.
*You are only a day old and I can already feel the magyck flowing through you. You are going to be a very strong and powerful faerie. All the kingdom’s and packs celebrate your birth today. Knowing how anxious everyone was for your arrival and to finally have you here, is very surreal.
You are such a calm baby. Only crying if your daddy isn’t nearby. You have him wrapped around your little hand already. It makes my heart swell with pride and joy to see him holding you.
I can’t wait to watch you grow. To see the first time your wings sprout. To see you fly for the first time. To hear you say mommy. I have so many hopes and dreams for you. I have high hopes that you will get to stay by my side.
You are so loved by many. Even little Ezra is thrilled to meet you. He has been the most excited for your arrival. He’s a cute little thing. He told me months back that he can’t wait to meet his best friend. He should be here any day now.
But I think the best part of your arrival is seeing how much your daddy has changed already. He is in love with you. Has barely left your side. The way he looks at you warms my heart.
*
I need to know if she wrote about the day the baby princess went missing. I skip to four days later in the journal entries.
*My heart burns. My world came crashing down. The biggest fear I had. The most horrific nightmare came true. The worst day of my life has come and I can’t do anything about it. My body feels hollow. I don’t want to eat or drink anything.
My precious baby, my sweet Elise. You were stolen from us. Taken from this realm. You are lost to us until you are older. I was frozen and had to watch them snatch you from your room. A room that now remains vacant.
Your daddy has taken this even harder than I am. He’s gone crazy with rage. He blames himself for not being fast enough. He’s cried nonstop. But I don’t blame him. I have been trying my hardest not to break down in front of everyone. I don’t want them to see how bad I’m hurting.
I just want you in my arms. I want my baby. This is the worst pain I could ever imagine.
But I know now that your second future is beginning to unravel. Kyros will find you. He will bring you to us. He will lead you to Ezra.
