Althea: The Goddess Rebound

"It's not easy for a goddess to obtain love, Althea." Althea nodded her head. "I'll take my chances," she replied. This was a sacrifice that she was willing to make to be with the one she loved. The goddess rose higher, her feet off the ground, her hands raised as she looked up into the sky, which crackled with lightning. The wind howled across the field, screaming at Althea to stop. Only it knew of the suffering that awaited her arrival in the land of the living. If he were to reject her again, it would not only torture her, but it would break her soul, tainting it forever. And this time, it could end up turning her into a goddess of darkness. A dark and ferocious goddess. "Let the game with destiny begin." Althea is back, but she is very different. Will Aries know that it's her? [Note: This is book 2 of the Althea series, and it is strongly recommended that book 1, Althea: The Female Alpha (also available on Readict!), is read first for better understanding and enjoyment.]
