True Heir

Both Alpha’s fought until they were at a standstill. Alpha Lucius shifted back.

“I want what is mine Raven, all of what is mine! Not only do I know that my Luna is here for some reason, I know you are keeping my branded female here! I also want what you have kept from me for the past twenty years!” He roared at her. She didn’t back down. She stared at him in cold fury.

“Fuck you, you’re getting nothing!” she snarled.

“You had no right to keep him from me!” he snarled. His body shaking. “I am an Alpha; I deserve a suitable heir! Not the piece of shit Travis that I have!”

“He’s not your heir! Not anymore and never will be! He is the heir of Alpha Alistair Porter! He is our son! He will rule the Porter bloodline! I will not let you corrupt him!” Raven roared at him.

“Alistair, we were once best friends, it boils me that you could do this to me and know about it!” he retorted.

“We were, until you blindly listened to your father, you let him torture you, her stood by and watched him kill your own mate. You started to join him in his psychotic debauchery. You agreed to attend “Alpha Arts” knowing how corrupt it made him. You swore you wouldn’t get corrupted. Look at you now! The friend I have is gone, and only you can get him back. You’re the one who destroyed him.” Alistair told him. Lucius looked torn and broken.

Out of the woods walked Verona. I have not seen Verona in hours since Minerva arrived, and she learned the bitter truth about her sister and her husband. Verona went pale as she saw Lucius. She screamed and drew attention to herself. Everyone stared at her horror-struck face. She began to run but Lucius, being a dark Alpha, acted fast. He ran faster than anything I had seen. I tried to run towards her but, Damien held me back with his Alpha strength.

He caught her from behind as she was trying to run away. He gripped her tight. She screamed in pain.

“You thought you could run from me! He snarled she cried for mercy.

“You’re my Luna bitch!” he roared.

‘NO!” My father roared in rage as we saw Lucius bite her in the throat. It happened in a split second. We heard Beta Devon roar in rage, my father roared in rage, as Verona collapsed to the ground. All hell broke loose. Devon and my father shifted into their wolves while in violent rage and attacked Lucius.

“NO!” I screamed! As I saw her blood soaking the ground. I wailed and thrashed in Damiens arms as I saw her eye glaze over and her throat ripped open. I felt like the earth was rumbling when I heard Minerva screaming. Some of Lucius’s men found her hiding in the pack house and were pulling her through the portal. Damien noticed. He went into a rage. He moved so quickly I didn’t have time to register anything. He locked me in our room. He shifted, broke through a wall of the pack house and charged towards the Luthor warriors. He immediately started to rip them apart without breaking a sweat. In between fighting his father in-law, he had not seen in decades, and a beta that was Verona’s true mate. Lucius watched his warriors being easily dismantled by Damien. I saw awe in his eyes. He was fighting off Beta Devon and my father trying to get to Damien again. His eyes were locked on Damien, Lucius wolf roared in fury.

Alpha Alistair and Luna Raven shifted, they began to fight alongside their son. I saw Damiens little brothers drive up the road coming from somewhere else. When the saw the battle, the twins immediately shifted and headed straight towards Damien. Following his lead. Damiens Alpha wolf, barking out orders to them. One of them too down a warrior then turned and ripped apart two more. I opened the window and howled the war call. Within minutes every fight we had were joining the fight.

I learned from Damien the horn was a warning but, that everyone should wait for the war howl to step in and fight. I sounded the call. I am proud of our warriors. They jump into the fight, and I can see them start tearing the Onyx pack warriors apart with ease. Alistair and Damien did very well training these men how to fight. I also realized that I gave myself away. Alpha Lucius is staring at me in cold fury. He howled an attack signal. Wolves were starting to lunge towards me.

“Damien!” I can’t fight knocked up! He looked up. He roared in horror as the wolves were starting to breech the packhouse. I was attempting to fight them off in our room. I can’t shift! I fell out the window. He threw Minerva on his back, lunged for me and caught me gently with his teeth. I climbed up him and on to his back with Minerva’s help. Lucius roared and knocked my father plus, Beta Devon to the ground. I screamed as I felt the pack link break, as he ripped Beta Devon’s throat out.

My father got him by the back hind legs and started to tear the flesh there. He howled in agony. He grabbed my father by his coat and threw him into Alpha Alistair. I saw him bare his teeth and growl in fury, as he saw us vacate. He charged towards us. Luna Raven lunged for us to block Lucius from getting towards Damien. Alpha Alistair abandoned fighting the Onyx warriors once Damien had Minerva and me. He headbutted Lucius. He went to grab his fur. Lucius sidestepped him, grabbing ahold of Raven, and throwing her into Alistair. He snarled in her face, before grabbing her by the fur, throwing her in the air, grabbing hold of her in midair and ripping her stomach out.

Our whole pack howled in agony at the loss of our Luna. I felt the spirit of my mother howling in sorrow. Nothing like what we thought originally was true. Luna Raven had believed that her sister was ripped apart. That was just a nightmare planted in her, to bring her pain. My mother is trapped in a spirit realm, in agony.

The reality right now is seeing the woman who was like a mother to me die in front of our eyes. Damien stopped and stared at Lucius, the wolfs blood dripped with the blood of our Luna Raven. Lucius’s wolf made a quick meal of her while staring at Damien.

“Damien, don’t it’s what he wants!” I told him as I read Damiens mind. Damien wanted to attack him.

“He wants me and Minerva, don’t give him what he wants” I told him. That seemed to get him out of it. Damien took off running again, I could see Lucius hot on our trail, growling and howling at my twin and me. I saw the porter twins and several of the pack warriors moving in to block his path. The twins, Alpha Alistair, Alpha Carter, and several other warriors circled him. Most of his men he had brought with were being held down and killed by the massive amount of our pack warriors. His eyes filled with rage as we made our escape with what I now assume is his first-born son and heir that Luna Raven stole from him.
