Chapter 61 - Mark her

Sarah.

“Good morning”

The whole Raymond family is gathered in Mr Raymond's room. He is too weak to even walk. I have asked Mary to bring Liam too. But before that, I have to tell everyone about my truth.

“Milano, it would be better if you told your family about us. But before that, I would like to know from Mr Raymond how he was bewitched.” I said,

“Frankly speaking, I don't know.” He replied.

“What's the last thing you remember doing?” I asked.

“That day I had a meeting with Mr Herman Coleman. He brought his son Harry and daughter Grace with him. They talked about an alliance with the Raymond family. They wanted to marry their daughter Grace to Milano. I told them that Milano wouldn't agree and I was about to leave. They stopped me saying that we could still have business relations and invited me for lunch. I didn't want to destroy our reputation and so agreed to have lunch with them. We went to a nearby restaurant and had lunch. That's the last thing I remember. After that day it was like I was being driven by someone. I can't remember what I did except meet a woman every two days or so. I don't remember her face or anything else but I used to drink something.” Mr Raymond explained.

“So, you were bewitched by the Coleman family. It's strange that I belong to that family. I wonder why they would do anything like that. Why do they want an alliance with the Raymonds?” I asked.

“They are facing some problems in their business. Having an alliance with the Raymonds would definitely benefit their business.” Milano said,

“But who was the woman who gave your dad the potion?” I asked.

“We have to find out but before that let's give them the good news.” Milano said and turned to his family.

“Grandma, Mom and Dad, I have already told you that she is my mate. Yesterday, we became one, not physically but by the bond. I marked her on her request. The most important thing is that she was not a human from the beginning. As you all know her father, King Charles, was an Alpha. We have known her mother to be a human. But in reality, her mother was one of the greatest witches of all time. She is a hybrid by birth. For some reason her wolf never came out, giving her the identity of a human. Her wolf came out yesterday when I marked her. She understood that Dad was bewitched. So with the help of Mary, she took away the dark shadow from him. He has been possessed by that dark power for so many days and that's why he is so weak.” Milano explained.

“There is another thing I want to tell you.” He turned to me and said,

“Princess Jovita Coleman, your wolf is Sarah. Your wolf introduced herself to me.”

His revelation just came as a shock to me.

“That means my mother or my grandma did foresee my future. Mary is right. My grandma and mother were great witches.

“There is another thing which we want to tell you. A few days back, Mr Buchanan came with his son. To our shock, his son said that I am his mate. He even showed me the mate bond. But I didn't feel anything as I did when Milano touched me. I knew at once that we were meant to be together. Today, Mr Buchanan came here again. He asked me to go to my kingdom and also said that he hadn't told anyone about my existence. I sent him back saying that I would tell him when I was ready to go. So, I will have to go and meet the Coleman family. But before going I think I should be introduced to the pack. They deserve to know that they got a new Luna.” I said,

“That's really great news. They will get to meet their Luna. They will be really happy. The recent rogue attack on me has stirred up a feeling of insecurity among the pack members. Your introduction is definitely going to give them new hope. Above all, you will meet your wolf Sarah for the first time. It's a full moon day tomorrow.” Milano said making me nervous,

“Appearing in front of them as their Luna and then disappearing the very next day will add to their insecurity feeling. I have no idea what's waiting for me in my kingdom. I can't even make any promise that I will be back to them really soon.”

Before I could complete there was a knock at the door. It was Mary pushing a wheelchair carrying Liam. Milano went to them and hugged Liam. There were no words between them but silence and their silence spoke everything. Seeing them, I knew what to do.

“How are you now Liam?” Grandma asked.

“I am good and will be back very soon.” Liam replied.

“What happened to him?” Milano's father asked.

“He got wounded while trying to save me from the rogue attack. Mr Shultz was also injured but not as severely as him.” Milano said,

“Milano, as your Luna I would like to make my first decision. Do I have the right to do that?” I asked.

“Definitely my dear, you can make any decision and all the pack members are obliged to do that.” Milano said,

“Mary, take Liam to your room.” I said and Mary was about to leave the room without any objection.

“Wait, I didn't tell you my first order as the Luna.”

She stopped and looked at me puzzled.

“Liam, I order you as the Luna of your pack to mark Mary and make her a pack member.”

Everyone looked at me as if I had just asked them to cut down their head and serve me on a plate.

“Sarah, I have told you why we can't give him permission to mark her. It's against the pack rules.” Milano said and everyone backed him, even Mary.

“Yes, you did tell me but then the situation was different. You were afraid because Mary would become a hybrid and their children might become a threat to the alpha position. Then let me tell you that your Luna herself is a hybrid. When I leave with Milano to my kingdom, I want to leave this pack in powerful, reliable hands.”

Everyone had a smile on their faces realizing what I was doing.

“As a former Alpha, I do have a suggestion over that decision. Luna, the decision you just made is just great. But, thinking about the future I would like to make a suggestion. Mary will become a member of the pack after Liam marks her. But they have to make a promise.” Milano's father said and at once Mary and Liam understood what he said,

“Don't worry Master Raymond. This is the happiest moment for both of us. I have never thought that I could ever bring my mate to my pack. We want nothing more. We will keep our promise and will not have a child.” Liam's words felt like a big blow to my head.

“Wait, what's the need for such a promise?” I asked.

“Luna, we won't ever be a threat to the pack and we will not do anything to harm the pack.” Liam said,

“But what's the need for such a promise? We already have a son, Teddy.” I said,

“My dear child, we all know that you love our Teddy more than anything in this world, even Milano. We also agree that you are a hybrid and so there won't be any threat even if Liam marks Mary and she becomes a hybrid. But that's not the case with Teddy. He definitely has the Alpha blood but he is not a hybrid, because you are not his biological mother. Liam and Mary can definitely have their child but only after you make one with Milano. That way we will have a hybrid future Alpha.” Grandma said,

“That's not possible, Grandma. Teddy is our eldest son and he will become the future Alpha.” I said,

“That's not possible Sarah. The most powerful one becomes the Alpha.” Milano said,

“Then we won't make a hybrid child.” I declared.

“That's not the only possible solution.” His mother said for the first time.

“Then what should I do? I can't take away my Teddy’s right just for some hybrid game.” I said,

“I have the solution for that.” Mary said, making all of us look towards her.

“You can train him to become a hybrid. I have read about this but have never tried it. Just like you lived your whole life as a human, but still did the magic unknowingly, Teddy too would have inherited some qualities from you over the years. You just have to find them and prepare him for the future. I will help you with that.” Mary said,

“Does that mean we can have more kids?” Milano asked.

“Definitely, you can.” Mary answered.

“Then I give you my word. You can have your own child when Sarah gives birth to our second child.” Milano promised.
