Chapter 62 - Pack meeting

Sarah

Milano has called a pack meeting in the pack house before sunset. He wanted to introduce my human form before my wolf form to all the pack members. But a major problem arose at the moment. Everyone at the mansion will be at the pack house but we can't take Teddy there. Someone needed to take care of Teddy and Mary came forward to help.

“I'll look after Teddy tonight. Liam has not marked me yet as I want him to do that when he is healthy.” Mary said,

“But what if Teddy asks about others? He is definitely not going to sleep before sunset.” Milano said,

“I will take him to my home. I will make some excuse and keep him there and if possible make him sleep there.” Mary said,

“That’s a good suggestion. I think Sarah should go with them and make him comfortable there before you return.” Milano's mom suggested.

“I don't think it's a good idea. This mansion is definitely not safe without someone to protect from black magic. Whoever bewitched Mr Raymond, now knows that the spell has been broken. They will try to attack as they know that there won't be anyone except Sarah and Teddy at the mansion. They still don't know that Sarah is not a human. I would have stayed at the mansion but I can't do that with Teddy. I will go with Teddy to my home and Sarah will stay back. We have to be ready even if they plan something earlier.” Mary explained.

“That’s decided then. I will ask the driver to drop you off.” Milano said,

“No, don't do that. They will definitely be keeping an eye at the gate. If they find out that Teddy is with me, I won't be able to protect him.” Mary said,

“Then how are you going to take Teddy to your place?” Milano asked.

“I'll port both of us to my home.” Mary said,

“What if Teddy asked you how you took him to your house?” Milano asked.

“Don't worry, I will port us both only when Teddy is asleep.” Mary said.

After having tea, I took Teddy to his room with the aim of making him sleep. After an hour of effort, he finally fell asleep. I called Mary and she took him with her. After that I got ready for the pack meeting. When I came down, Milano and his family were already waiting for me. All the staff of the mansion had already left except for Pamila. He locked the mansion after everyone came out. Then we all walked towards the pack house. Mr Raymond and Liam were already taken in a car to the pack house because of their weakness. Milano made me stay back while others went inside the pack house.

“I don't know how they are going to react. So be prepared for the worst. I'm not trying to make you nervous but just letting you know that anything can happen.” For some reason Milano's words gave me confidence.

“Come with me.”

Milano said and walked towards the right side of the pack house. There was another door which he opened and entered. It was a small room just enough for three people to stand properly. There was another door in front.

“I will go through that door. You can hear everything I say. When I call you come through that door.” Milano said and kissed me on the forehead.

“Everything is going to be fine.”

He said and went inside the door. I could hear the murmuring of lots of people but it all went silent at once. Now I could hear Milano's voice.

“Dear pack members, I called this urgent meeting to share some important news with you. I found my son, the future Alpha of the pack. But I can't introduce him right now because he doesn't know anything about our kind. He has lived like a human until now. He is too small to understand what werewolves and their packs are. I hope we will be able to tell him and make him understand about ourselves very soon.” Milano took a pause before continuing.

“Another important thing to tell you all is about my mate. I found my mate and marked her. That means the pack now has got its Luna. Let me introduce your Luna. Please welcome your Luna, Sarah.”

I pushed open the door hearing my name being called. I climbed up the three steps and it was a small stage where Milano was already standing. He came forward and took my hand in his and we walked towards the pack members. Some cheered and some were shocked. Those who cheered were definitely the ones working at the mansion who already knew me.

“Hello, I am Sarah, your Alpha Leo’s mate. I hope you will all like and accept me as your Luna.” A loud applause welcomed my words.

“I am extremely sorry to interrupt you, my Luna. Can we know if Sarah is your wolf or your real name?” Someone among the members asked.

“Sarah has been my name since the time I remember. I lived my whole life as a human without knowing my real identity. Only after meeting Milano, I came to know about my real identity. I became an orphan when I was just a year old. I am Princess Jovita Coleman, the daughter of King Charles Coleman and Janet Coleman. Recently I got my wolf and she is Sarah and I am happy that the name I carried my whole life won't change.”

I explained making everyone gasp or whistle. Everyone seemed to be excited but still I had a very odd feeling like something was wrong. I looked around the huge hall and it's filled with men and women. Why do I feel like something is not right? I tried to concentrate and someone there is trying to contact the outer world. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate. I have to stop the news about me leaking out of the pack. The witch inside me knew what to do. With a flick of my hand I blocked all the connections with the outer world.

“Silent”

My wolf roared, making everyone shocked and frightened. Milano looked at me puzzled. I could feel the heat within me. I don't want to shift in front of everyone. A touch from my mate helped me to calm down a little. I know my eyes have changed color.

“Please give me a few minutes.”

I told Milano and turned to face others. One by one my eyes went through the pack members and soon spotted the traitors. There were three of them but not connected to each other. Their minds were a pool of turmoil. It's better to show everyone what happens to a traitor. I called Edwin, the Gamma.

“Edwin, three of the pack members are traitors. I don't know their names but everyone should know what happens when you betray your pack.”

I showed him the three traitors and Edwin went to Milano. He came to me and asked.

“Are you sure, there are traitors?”

“Yes, and I would like to know what punishment you are going to give them.” I said,

“Traitors are never forgiven. They will be punished tonight . Edwin, get them chained.” He ordered.
