Episode 9: Trapped Or Lucky?
Ava.
"Sorry, that's no beast! That's Alpha Dante having his meal. You know, everybody from your pack is served as his meal!" Ariana said as I watched with my eyes wide open, tears streaming down my face. I watched him heading towards Ava.
When he approached her he was already trying to pierce his fangs into her neck, but I angrily shouted,
"Just stop it!" My voice echoed very deeply, and the glass of the windows was broken, and my eyes became very dark.
It was as if I knew my power was slowly coming back to me.
Though I immediately shouted with a loud voice, it distracted Alpha Dante from hurting my girl, Gwen.
Then he looked up to the fourth floor of the building where they locked me up. Then he leaped out of the ground, climbing the walls.
He was coming for me in haste. I remembered him jumping into the room through the window I had crushed.
Then he attacked me with his fangs, and that was the last thing I could remember. I know he wounded me and put me in a short coma.
When I opened my eyes again, I discovered that Gwen and I were tied together on both hands and legs, standing close to a car outside the house. Alpha Dante and his maids were in front of us, looking at us.
Gwen was still crying bitterly. She lost her best friend, Samuel, who was equally mine. Samuel was always a lovely person, but it is so sad how we watched Dante kill him right in front of us and we couldn't do anything.
"Gwen, it's okay. Everything is going to be alright. I promise you that," I whispered to Gwen, who kept shedding unlimited tears.
"Who is promising who? You can't promise yourself anything when I have not decided what to do. You both don't even know if I'm going to spare your lives or not," Alpha Dante said to us before stepping close to Ava and grabbing her jaw, looking directly into her eyes.
"I thought you were just a mere human, forbidden by everyone you trusted," Alpha Dante asked me.
"Lies! That's not true," I responded to him.
"Then tell me what you were doing inside the forest, bleeding almost to death. But thanks to the Moon Goddess, I was able to rescue you and take you to my professional doctor who took care of you," Alpha Dante said, pointing at the lady beside him.
"And just be careful, ma'am! Whatever they did to you almost got rid of your baby, but the baby was strong enough to survive," the doctor announced, making Gwen and me stare at each other with a surprised look on our faces.
How is that possible? I saw the blood running out and the poison was specifically made for my baby. So how come the baby survived? I was so shocked, looking at my stomach.
"I could have just fed on you, but you both need to work out the money for your treatment, dear," Alpha Dante said, referring to me.
"I can't keep you both, but I can send you to a place where you will be earning money for me daily. Take them away!" Alpha Dante said as a group of men stepped down from the car behind us and rushed towards us.
"Wait, what are you doing? Wait, p..." I was still screaming when my mouth was immediately covered, and they forced me into their car.
"Get away from us!" Gwen was still screaming when they grabbed her too and forced her in, starting the car.
We didn't know exactly where they were taking us, but I felt that we were being taken out of the state because we rode for hours and days.
Finally, we arrived in front of a beautiful compound that looked neat and clean.
The men stepped out of the car and forced us out as well. Immediately we stepped out we saw a man in a suit stepping forward.
As he approached, he shook hands with the boys, then extended his hand for me for a handshake, I couldn't because I was afraid, so I just looked at him silently.
Then he smiled. "I believe you are scared, right? But you don't have to be, because you are so lucky. Only lucky werewolves have the grace to see this place. Do you know where this is?" The man asked, and I looked directly at the castle and how it was designed.
I began to realize that I recognized that symbol on the building from somewhere else. I'm not entirely sure, but...
As I was still struggling with my thoughts, I remembered seeing that symbol on Alpha Zed's shirt, and he told me it's called Wolf Heaven.
It's a beautiful place, but only lucky werewolves can see it and get inside. It's likely Alpha's home too.
"Yes! It's Wolf Heaven! I know this place! Alpha Zed used to be here. I believe he is supposed to be inside now," I said, making Gwen gaze at me in surprise.
"Are you sure about what you are saying?" Gwen asked, and I looked at the man in the suit.
"Yes, or is this not Wolf Heaven?" I asked the man, and he nodded with a smile, gazing at the castle too.
"You got it correctly," the man responded.
"Oh, that means you must have been very lucky then," Gwen responded, and I looked at the man, almost with tears in my eyes.
"Please, I'm sure you know who Alpha Zed is, right? He lives here always. He only visits us once a month in our pack, and I'm very sure that he must be inside. Can you please take me to him? I need to see him right away, please," I begged with my hands together, and Gwen also folded her hands begging with me.
"Alpha Zed, right?" the man asked, and I nodded at him.
"Who is he to you?" he asked.
"I'm supposed to be his Luna-in-law... just get me to him, please. He is the Alpha of my pack," I responded, as the man and the others gazed at each other, their meaning lost on me.
Only God knows what those eyes they exchanged meant.
"I'm Alpha Dan. Come on, let me show you to him," the man said.
"Thank you so, so much," I responded as I grabbed Gwen's hand, and we followed him. Just as we were stepping inside the building, the gate was immediately shut.
"Alpha Zed in our grasp? Finally," one of the men who brought us muttered.
