Episode 10: The Forgotten Got Remembered

Ava.

"So, what's keeping him? Why is he taking so long?" I asked Gwen, as both of us looked quite bothered.

Since Alpha Dan took us into the Castle, he walked away, telling us that he would be back in a few minutes. He said he was going to call out Alpha Zed for us. However, it has been over an hour now, and we have been waiting for him, but there is no sign of him.

"Maybe Alpha Zed is too busy. You know he is always busy," Gwen responded.

"That's not possible. He is always busy in our pack because he is the Alpha there. But here, there are surely others who are greater than him. I mean..." I was still saying when we noticed one of the omegas who work for the wolf heaven castle stepping straight forward to us.

"It's like she has some information for us," Gwen muttered as we both waited for the pretty girl to approach.

"Hello, come let me show you to your rooms. You are both welcome. My name is Alina," the girl said to us.

Gwen and I gazed at each other in surprise because we didn't understand why they were talking about giving us a room.

"Excuse me, but I don't understand. Are you here to show us to our room? Why are you offering us a room?" I asked.

"It was Alpha Dan who ordered me to do so. Please, you have to follow me," Alina responded.

"No, thank you. We are good here because we'll be leaving as soon as we see the person we came to look for," I responded, leaving Alina chuckling.

"Sorry, but that has never happened before! Even if you're going to leave here, it is not yet time. Apart from Alpha werewolves, I have never seen any ordinary werewolf come to this place and return home. Once you are here, you are here. There's no turning back," Alina responded, leaving Gwen and me scaredly gazing at each other.

"Come on! Follow me, let me show you to your room. Both of you are so lucky to have a personal room. It seems like you are already important to Alpha Dan," Alina said as she began to walk away. Without hesitating anymore, we followed her.

She led us to a single beautiful room for both of us. It was well-furnished and nice.

"Excuse me? Are you an Alpha werewolf?" Alina asked, and I shook my head.

"No, but why did you ask?" I responded.

"Because the room that is being given to you is for some of those Alpha's who come for visits. If you're not an alpha wolf, then it is certain that Alpha Dan wants something from you. But I wouldn't be sure of it, goodbye to you both," Alina said and left the room.

"Don't you think she could be right?" Gwen asked as she approached me and I nodded my head.

"Maybe, maybe not! But what we can see now is that we are trapped in here. That man deceived us. He was never going to call Alpha Zed for us, and it's all my fault. I shouldn't have asked him to help us in the first place," I said to Gwen, feeling guilty as I approached the bed and sat on it.

"No, don't blame yourself because there is obviously no other way! I mean, some guys brought us here, and what do you think they brought us here to do? Obviously, it's slavery. We both heard what Alpha Dante said when he handed us over to them," Gwen said, sitting beside me while I was busy looking at my tummy.

"It still surprises me that the child was able to survive it because you lost so much blood that day," Gwen said to me, and I sighed and looked up at her.

"I know that one day Caleb will come looking for us, begging on his knees. But then it will be too late for him. But for now, all thanks should go to you," I said as I grabbed Gwen's hand.

"All thanks should go to you, Gwen! You are the one who made it possible for me to be alive today, and I'm grateful for that. I owe you my life," I responded, and she smiled at me. But just then, the door opened, and it was Alpha Dan.

"Oh, sorry. It looks like I have interrupted your moment?" he said, and I shook my head.

"No, not really. It's nothing," I responded to him then he stepped in.

"Okay then, about the man you spoke of, he came here long ago, and he has never returned. And that's because we had a great issue with him that will definitely lead to the downfall of his entire pack. Alpha Zed, right?" Alpha Dan asked, and I nodded hastily.

"Please, what did he do? Could it be forgiven?" I asked, and Dan shrugged his shoulders.

"It was meant to remain a secret," Dan responded, and I nodded at him.

"Please, whatever it is, can you just let us know? He's a good man! He..." I was still saying, but I was interrupted by Dan.

"Enough of that already, You are welcome home now. The both of you have been sold as slaves to us, but I won't treat you like one," Dan said to us, leaving us looking at him in surprise.

"Maybe you are just born lucky because you are the first person I have ever felt this way for. I believe that there is a bond between us that I can't quite express, so I will be giving you this room,"

"I will take care of you until you give birth to your unborn baby. The people who brought you here told me that you are pregnant. Your child will be welcomed here as a son of the Alpha," Alpha Dan said, and I was shocked looking at him without my mouth opened and almost in tears.

"But why..." I was still saying but was interrupted by him.

"There was a bond I can't quite express. Anyways, the other lady, what's her name?" Alpha Dan asked, referring to Gwen.

"I am Gwen, sir," Gwen responded immediately.

"Gwen, come with me," he said, but I grabbed Gwen's hand. "No, please. You can't take her away from me. She is my best friend," I said.

"Of course, I'm not taking her away from you, and she still remains your best friend. I just want to show her around. Come, Gwen," Alpha Dan said. I then released Gwen from my grip, and he took her away.

A YEAR LATER.

So now I have spent a year in here without seeing the bloody daylight?

"That's nice. At least this is the safest place for my baby to grow in," I muttered, looking at my baby who is now four months old.

Alpha Dan is really a nice person. He has been taking good care of me and my baby. He has suddenly become the man I've always wanted.

A caring husband who looks after his son, and his duty is always to put a smile on my face. Thanks to the moon goddess for providing such comfort for me.

We are both hoping that during the next full moon, we will officially become husband and wife, and we will mate under the moonlight.

I was still lost in my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door. "Yeah? Who's there? Come in," I asked. Then the door was opened, and it was Gwen.

"My lady, you shouldn't be here always. Why don't you come to see the new werewolves who have come to live in the castle and serve for the rest of their lives?" Gwen asked.

"No, don't worry. My baby and I need privacy," I said while looking at my cutie, Sam.

"Well, I wasn't just suggesting! It was Alpha Dan who told me to ask you to come for him to make an official introduction to them, so they would respect you as the...," Gwen was still saying when I interrupted.

"Fine! I'm coming," I said. Then I slowly placed my baby on the bed and walked straight to the hall where the official introduction takes place.

But I couldn't believe it! Immediately I walked in, I saw Caleb standing right behind Alpha Dan. It looks so much like he's a free man in here already.

"Are you okay?" Alpha Dan asked because of my sudden reaction. Even Caleb couldn't believe I was here with the way he was surprisingly gazing at me. Then I shook my head in tears because it reminded me of painful memories.

I quickly ran back to my room, but when I got in, my baby was nowhere to be found!
