Chapter Seventy Nine; My Blood Is Boiling.

Alpha Xavier’s POV

The conquest was very easy and smooth that it deserved a celebration, after taking care of everything in the Rugged’s dwelling, we have finally provided someone to head their army, their day care and their feeding.

Then we also brought back some of them with us to help us doing some menial work that may require someone who has already been used to getting dirty, but that only could be done after they were introduced to the pack fully.

Upon seeing that, the people of Blood pack immediately asked for a party since it has been a while we had a full blown party, I couldn't say no to them, so I let all the warriors invite their family and friends and let the word travel far and near.

It wasn’t six o’clock yet and people were already gathering at the party hall so I had to rush over to give my not so planned speech before the night could officially start.

“People of Blood Pack, today we have made history, although we are named Blood Pack, we conquered a rugged dwelling without using blood and force, it’s really a first time and worth celebrating, once in a while, let’s introduce something different to spice up the environment don’t you all agree?”

“Yay!!! Yes Alpha! Go Alpha!”

The whole crowd cheered up and roared for their Alpha, they were glad about the whole history thing, but they were eager to get down to the main event of the night, the dance.

Afterbthe speech, I introduced the people that came back with us, I was finally free so I walked around greeting the people who were not otherwise engaged and then I decided to help myself to a drink since I didn’t have anything else to do other than that.

Just when I reached the counter, I saw two people chatting comfortably at first before the man suddenly made advances towards her but the lady just kept moving backwards.

As if that was not enough, he even extended his hand to caress her cheek, now I don’t know wether she wanted it or not because she was not moving, but I knew that I didn’t want it.

My blood was boiling at the thought of Gerald and Miya getting cozy together and I couldn’t stand it.

I approached him to talk to him gently to let go of her, but my hands seem to have a different mind of their own.

Maybe because of my powerful Alpha energy, the small tap I gave him turned out to be a big blow but I somehow didn’t feel bad about it.

I just looked at him on the floor and felt like stepping on him for getting too intimate with my girl in front of everyone, the nerve of him to do that.

“Alpha!”

“Xavier!”

The two people called out my name in unison and just the thought annoyed me to the core, not only do they spend time together and train together, they also talk together now?

“What’s up man, it’s me, Gerald, you must have not known it’s me”.

Said Gerald then he lifted up his hands for me to help him up.

I knew what he was doing there, he was trying to make it look like I had made an accident by thinking he was someone else so that the people around me would not think of me differently.

As much as I didn’t want any help from him, I also don’t want to loose the respect I received from so many people after this many year so I reluctantly held his hand and pulled him il towards me glad that most people were focused on the dance floor and didn’t pay attention to us.

He then patted my back as if he was going to hug me, but he brought his mouth to my ear and said:

“Don’t worry man, I’ll not take what we all know is yours”

Then he smiled and pushed me aside as if he didn’t say anything and held unto his leg like he was in pain.

“Miya look, my leg is paining me, aren’t you a medical assistant in the making? Do something about it”

I rolled my eye seeing him at his act, Clearly he was not hurt but was just pretending and Miya totally bought it.

“Miya!”

“What Alpha, you are so mighty that you end up hitting people from your pack now right?”

The look in her eyes was one I couldn’t understand, she look so resentful and anger, I just didn’t understand what was the big deal for her about this Gerald that she was getting so angry for him.

“Miya, listen to me” she ignored me and conginued to massage his leg thatbwas in nowhere affected by abythinh that happened and I just wished that I had actually brokene the leg so that he would be in the hospital by this time.

I did this for her, but at the end, it was he that was getting the attention, my wolf was getting angry and agitated by it.

How dare her do this to me? That day when she ran out of my house, It took me a great deal to stop myself from running after her.

And for the past couple of days, although we were In Rugged dwelling, I couldn’t always help when my mind involuntarily drifted to her.

Even when I came back, I had just wanted to rush to the orphanage and just hug her because that’s all I’ve been thinking of.

But yet again, I had to take care of some things with the new members of the pack as the Alpha that I am, I’ve not even rested since we came back.

I was low key hoping that she would be here and boy was I happy to see her before this fucking man saw me

“Miya, it’s fine, I’ll massage it for him then, after all it’s me who pushed him to the floor”

It was only when I finished talking that Miya finally turned to look at me and I saw something in her eyes.
