"What the fuck did you just say, Farron?" She growled at him and he gulped, jumping to his feet.

"V-Val...I didn't..."

"Don't lie to me" she snapped.

"You want to be with her?"

"Never. It's only you"

"Liar!" I yelled and he glared at me.

"Shut the fuck up Anna"

He growled and walked over to Val.

"She's trying to get between us but I won't let that happen. It's only you"

"But I...you want to get mated to her"

"We need to take over her pack" Val hesitated and then nodded.

"It can only be you and me, Farron" she said and he nodded.

"You're being a fool, Val. He doesn't love you" I yelled at her and she snarled at me.

"You're just a jealous bitch. He loves me" 

"He's using you. He plans to leave you in the end"

"Shut up"

"Don't listen to her" both of them yelled at the same time but I refused to stop. Val may hate me but if I managed to plant some doubt in her mind against Farron then maybe there could be a chance for me to escape.

"He said it himself. That's why he made you burn the other side of your face. And your house. He only pretended to be a savior to get you to trust him again"

"Shut up" she yelled louder.

"He doesn't love you, Val. He made them take you and hold you. He..."

The loud slap cut me off. My neck craned to the side from the impact and my sheets burned from pain.

Val was breathing heavily as she glared at me.

"I told you to shut the fuck up" she snarled.

"He loves me and he has told me many times. I'll be by his side as his true Luna. You were only a part of our plan. Anything he said to you was merely to convince you. You don't mean anything to him"

I ignored the pain in my face as I spoke again.

"You're too blind to see it"

"No. You're the foolish one who refuses to accept that everyone cannot want you. Or like you just because you're the alpha's daughter. Farron is different and he's proven to me countless times that he truly loves me and your pathetic lies can't change that"

She backed away from me and Farron pulled her into a kiss.

I gagged at the sight of them, disgusted by the enthusiastic swapping of saliva right in front of me.

"I'll leave you with her. Do what needs to be done so we can get what we deserve. And as for you, you'd better keep your mouth shut and obey or you'll be having more problems"

The gates shut with a loud bang. 

Farron turned to me, his face twisted into an evil scowl.

He marched over to me and grabbed me by the collar of my dress.

"What the fuck did you think you were doing?"

"Telling Val the truth"

Farron looked over his shoulder and scoffed.

"And you think she'd believe you? She hates you and would rather hear all the lies that I tell rather than a single truth from your lips"

"She'll find out soon enough what you're planning to do with her"

"And she would have served her purpose already darling. And it'd just be you and me."

"Never" I snarked and his face darkened. He gripped my chin, his fingers digging into it as he glared at me.

"You're going to regret your little stunt later. And no more seeing the children" Farron spat as he stood to his full height.

"What? No. I did as you asked"

"You tried to put Val against me"

My heart raced. "I'm sorry okay. I didn't mean to. And I won't do that anymore. Please let me see the children. You said I could see them"

"I changed my mind. If you think you can run your mouth without consequences, then think again. You won't be seeing the children" Tears filled my eyes.

"Farron please"

"No. And your attitude in the next couple of hours will determine if you ever see them again"

"What are you saying, Farron. Please don't hurt my children" I begged and he scoffed.

"One of them is mine" and yet he kept acting like she was a piece on his board game.

"Farron..."

"Behave well and maybe, you'll see them again" 

"Farron" I cried but he was already marching out the door.

"Farron" I sobbed as the silence engulfed me. I was afraid for the girls, afraid that Val and Farron would do something to them.

"Oh Xander" I cried loudly.

"Please. Find us" he was the only chance. And if he didn't get to us... I hung my head and let the tears fall freely.

Time passed in silence, my arms wrapped tightly around myself as I waited for something to happen.

I thought about the children. Their safety. I put my head against the wall and closed my eyes for a moment when I suddenly heard a thump from above me.

My eyes widened at the sound. It came again, louder this time. Like multiple footsteps were marching above me.

I sat up straight as I listened to the sound and then I heard muffled voices

The door flew open and Farron rushed inside, almost falling onto his own face.

He rushed over to me and his fingers clamped around my arm.

"Get up" he yelled at me and I frowned.

"What's wrong. Where are my children"

"Stop asking fucking too many questions and come with me"

I dragged my arms away. 

"I'm not going anywhere without the kids"

"You don't have a fucking choice. I'm going to..."

"Get your filthy hands off my mate" Xander's voice reached my ears and a loud sigh of relief escaped me.

"Xander..."

"Shut the fuck up. And you, don't come any closer or I'm going to kill her" Farron threatened, pressing a cold blade against my neck.

"Xander get the children" I yelled and Farron's blade pressed closer, cutting into my skin.

"Stay back" he yelled.

"You're surrounded, Farron. There's no way you can make it out. Release Anna and your punishment will be lighter"

"Never" Farron yelled behind me.

"I didn't work hard all these years just to let go when I'm near the completion of my plan. Anna had always been mine and we'll get mated. She will become my Luna"

"Never" I yelled and he growled into my ear.

"You had better get used to the idea because it's going to be fucking real"

"Let her go" Xander said in a lower voice this time but Farron was too far gone to notice.

"Things don't have to be this way" he said as he took another step forward. 

"It has already come to this. If you keep coming closer then I would have to kill her"

"Then you're never going to make it out alive but if you let her go..."

"You're not going to fool me. I know what you can do"

Xander smiled, the kind that made the hair on your skin rise in attention and fear.

"If you knew, then you should have let go the first time I asked"

Xander moved too fast in front of us, Farron's hold around my neck disappears and I collapse to the floor.

"Bastard" Xander growls just as Farron's lifeless body drops and his heart lands onto his stomach.

"Xander" I croaked.

"Baby" he muttered in relief as he wrapped his arms around me.

"You came"

"I'll always come"
