The Talk Without Humping Each Other

“It’s morning already, Dylan. We should stop,” Diana plead.

Pushing his face from her chest, he only answered her action by tightening his arms around her waist.

Diana was now lying on top of him. A flimsy robe separated their bodies just because the Alpha wanted to do it inside the tub. She thought she was the epitome of not being innocent after being reborn and all, but her mate brought the word to a whole kind of level.

Though her position was very comfortable for her, Diana’s back was aching like crazy from the hours spent wrestling against each other – not that she did not like it but her mate was simply a beast figuratively and literally!

Dylan growled lowly but he did not push his hardened cock into her like he always did the entire night. Seeing that the sunlight was peeking through the curtains – he knew it was time for the pack omegas to stand outside the chambers.

“Fine.”

Though he said it was fine, Diana was biting her lips to stop herself from cackling. Her mate acting cute was a damn turn-on for her; but like she said, it was already morning and they had to talk. She meant the talk without humping and grinding along with moans.

‘As we lay here, I still want to know what happened in the Crescent Pack. I am sure Shinro assured me that one of the best gammas in his pack assisted the Blood Claws Pack.’ Diana thought.

Diana decided to slide her body from him, taking the right side of the bed with a good amount of distance – an arm's length away from Dylan which caused him to growl in annoyance that earned him a light smack on the chest.

“Behave, Alpha.” Though her voice was stern, Diana was biting her lips hard to stop the corners of her lips from curling up.

Everything was new to her. She was not this playful and free when she was with Axel before. In fact, she was like walking on eggshells, always afraid to make mistakes.

Her smile was not able to be concealed when her eyes wrinkled already. Propping her elbows on the bed, she looked at him.

“So… what happened last night? You know that your beta literally dragged me up here to the second floor, right? You need to tell me what set you off there – that pack is where the people I hate the most lives in but it is also the place where my family is living.”

Her mate rose to sit on the bed, his back against the headboard of the bed. Gone was the spark of mischief in Dylan’s deep blue eyes as he looked ahead. With his arms crossed before him, his partially long black hair framed his strong jaws and sharp cheeks.

‘Ooh, that is a fine man right there.’ Diana could not help her mind from speaking up, not when in the presence of the Alpha whom she owned and conquered. Also, her wolf was practically beaming with joy and pride for having Alpha Dylan Cain as her mate.

Her train of thought was snapped back to reality when her mate spoke in a much lower voice. She could tell that his wolf was almost on the surface, judging by the almost feral growl that escaped from his lips. “I did not kill any innocent one. Heck, I did not even kill a single soul.” The corner of his lips curled up but his eyes were exuding a dangerous glint. This was the imposing aura that Diana’s wolf loved and feared.

Though her omega nature was completely erased when he mated her, replaced with a stronger scent that came as a preparation for her title as the future Luna of the Blood Claws Pack, Diana still needed time to adjust the changes in her instinct dynamics.

Clearing her throat, Diana asked. “That is great. Maybe that’s why you are so frustrated yesterday… you failed to let loose your ferocious instinct. Then… as my mate, you have already gone this far. Do you plan to join my conquest against the Werewolf Committee and the Crescent Pack?”

“Even to the death, I will be with you and your decisions.”

Swallowing the clog in her throat after hearing his no-nonsense answer, she asked once more. “So, what’s our game plan, big guy?”

“Beat them in their own game. Our plan, my plan, your plan, whatever plan it is… as long as it is the two of us against the enemies, I am never worried.”

Gone was the seductive smile on Diana’s face, replaced with the reality behind the fierce and wicked façade.

A charming smile erupted from Diana’s face as she sat before him, her arms crossed before her chest. “Oh-ho, I never know that we are this compatible, mate. Your idea is so sexy that I want to bash your head up just to see what you are thinking every minute of every day.”

Though Diana spat a sexual innuendo towards her mate, the latter only shook his head while the tinge of amusement swirled behind his sparkling predatory blue eyes.

Though Diana spat a sexual innuendo towards her mate, the latter only shook his head while the tinge of amusement swirled behind his sparkling predatory blue eyes.

Diana, who was equally amused with their newfound bond, continued what she wanted to say. “Shinro is one of my subordinates… also Rakiz Lemoir.”

A look of understanding and amusement flickered through the bond they shared. Diana sighed in relief when she did not feel any negative emotions within the bond.

“So you are the benefactor of my friend, Shinro. You are also the reason why the genius Rakiz Lemoir is in the Werewolf Committee after disappearing for many years.”

This time, Diana crawled towards her husband. “I am… Aren’t you afraid of my scheming mind? Lunas are supposed to be the kind and gentle mother of the pack, right? Sorry to burst your bubble, but I am not. I am opinionated. I have my own plans most of the time. And I am ruthless. Aren’t you regretting what you got as a Luna?”

The entire time, her eyes never left his blue ones as if she was enticing him to look at her only. Like a female predator stalking a mate, her moves were slow yet with purpose. And her purpose? To straddle him under her which she did after a fraction of a minute, seeing that there was not enough distance between them in the first place.

With her sitting on his lap, Diana linked her arms around his neck – their nose barely touching each other as she whispered, her hot breath fanning over him. “Ask me anything… anything, and I will deliver it to you, mate. Anything like… that Crescent alpha’s head or… my body.”

Clasping his jaws with both of her soft palms, Diana continued. “Say it, my love, mate.”

His eyes were as sharp as a hawk as he stared up at her.

In a low voice, he answered. “First, never and I mean never, put yourself in danger. This will be a big help for me already, more than you can possibly imagine, mate. I know you are a very capable woman and I love that about you. I am more than satisfied with the mate that the Moon Goddess has gifted me this time. You understand me, right?”

From his words, Diana could not help but leaned down to meet and devour his lips like he did to hers a couple of hours ago. The touching of their lips brought zaps of lightning bolts wracking her body. She thought that her hips were on the verge of giving out, but one simple orgasm-worthy kiss made her change her mind. “You are really a certified good kisser, Alpha.”

Tugging her long locks, Dylan tilted his gaze up to her as his smile was both proud and naughty. “Anything for my mate.”

Snorting, Diana rolled her eyes.

Dylan only shook his head upon realizing how many times they had strayed from their main topic because of their never-ending libido. This talk without humping each other was getting harder by the minute. All he could think about was to knot his mate.
