Chapter 43

Aurora's POV

I waited for Blake to come back from the bathroom. He had told me he was going to run the bath water for us to take a bath. I was relieved that the fire I had been feeling seemed to have left; I knew it had died because Blake and I had made love. I smiled, remembering the way he made me feel. I had no regrets about letting him take me the way he did. I finally felt complete.

I was sore in my core from the way Blake pounded inside me. Also, from how his cock grew bigger while he was deep inside of me. I couldn't understand how he ended up stuck inside me for over ten minutes. Not that I was complaining. I loved the way we were connected as one for that time.

I was concerned about why both of us bit each other. Why did I have the urge to bite him in the first place, and why was I happy after I did it? I felt like I had marked my territory; he was officially mine just as much as I was his. "I must be going crazy," I thought to myself.

A few minutes later, Blake walked into the bedroom. I couldn't help the blush that came over my face when I looked at his naked body as he began to walk closer to me. He picked me up, causing me to gasp. The sparks I was feeling seemed to be stronger than before. I couldn't help but press my body more into him, placing my face in the crock of his neck and inhaling his intoxicating scent. I didn't understand how he could smell so good.

Once we were in the bathtub, he washed my body softly, sending tingles all through my body. He made me feel loved and wanted. When he told me that we were fully Mated and Marked and what that meant, I wasn't scared. I loved that I was his and he was mine. I was worried I might be pregnant with his child, but I wasn't mad. I was more concerned about being a mother at such a young age, but I knew Blake would always be there by my side.

I was confused about the picture that appeared on his neck where I marked him. It was a picture of a white wolf. He told me his wolf would appear on my neck, but whose wolf was on his neck?

"Why is there a Picture of a White Wolf appearing where I Marked you?" I asked while we were in the bathtub. I could see his body stiffen, and he had a worried look on his face. I somehow could feel he was nervous about something. I didn't understand how I knew that, but I did. It was like I could feel his emotions.

"Blake, did you hear me?" I asked when he didn't answer me.

"Yes, but first, let's get out of the shower and get dressed in some comfy clothes. My mom brought you some clothes earlier when she and Brandy came over to help while you were in heat," Blake said, and he got out of the tub.

He returned with a towel wrapped around his waist and another in his hand. I stepped out of the tub, and he wrapped the towel around my body. We walked back into the bedroom to put on our clothes.

"You still haven't answered my question, Blake. Why is there a White Wolf on your neck where I Marked you?" I asked. We were lying in bed, looking into each other's eyes. Neither of us had said anything for over thirty minutes.

"There is something I need to tell you, but I don't want you to freak out," Blake said.

"What do you have to tell me?"

"When I found out you were going into heat, I was surprised. I have never heard of a human going into heat before," Blake said, looking deep into my eyes.

"I am sure other humans that are mated to a werewolf have gone through heat before. They probably wanted to keep it a secret or something," I said, and Blake began to shake his head.

"I am one hundred percent sure that humans do not go through heat. It has never happened before," Blake said.

"But it has because I have just gone through it. I can't be the only human that has," I replied.

"That is what I am trying to tell you. I am pretty sure that you are not all human. I believe that you have a wolf," Blake said. I couldn't help but laugh at what he had just said.

"You can't be serious," I said. There was no way I was a werewolf.

"I am serious, Aurora. Humans don't go into heat, and you did. Not only that, but you see the picture of the white wolf that is on my neck," he said and paused and waited for me to answer.

"What about the wolf on your neck?" I asked. I was wondering why a white wolf would appear on his neck where I marked him.

"That is a picture of your wolf. Just like you have a picture of my wolf where I marked you," He said.

"That makes no sense. I haven't changed into a wolf, and you told me that most change by their Sixteenth birthday. I am almost eighteen and still haven't turned into a wolf. So there must be another reason a wolf showed up where I marked you. Maybe it is because my father is a werewolf."

"There isn't another reason. When humans mark their mate, A picture of their human self appears on their neck. Not a picture of a wolf, even if the human has a werewolf parent. I am telling you, Aurora. You have a wolf. I don't know why you haven't changed, but I will figure it out. You should have turned earlier than sixteen because you have a very powerful and special wolf," Blake said and then looked at me with a worried expression. Somehow I could feel his emotions and knew he was worried that he would overwhelm me if he told me about my wolf.

"What do you mean a special wolf."
