Bella’s pov. 
“Seriously?” John asked in disbelief, not understanding how only five packs out of fifteen would attend. 

“I’m dead serious. Legit five packs will be here tomorrow and most of them are only bringing five warriors with them,” I replied, feeling just as confused as him, “I’m hoping everything will go okay tomorrow…”

Brooke groaned, looking from me to John. 

“I’m going to get going, Bella. I gotta get home. You’ll be fine?” She said, looking at me sadly. 

“I’ll be fine, yes. Just go home, we’ll talk tomorrow when you get here, yeah?” I answered, getting up from my chair and sitting beside John, holding his hand in mine. 

She nodded her head before she left, leaving me and John alone. 

“How was Megan when you left her?” I asked curiously, thinking about her little face lighting up at the decorations she had to help with. 

“She was fine. She was excited to help, and the pack members were even more excited to have her helping them. We’ve got a great pack, Bella. All of our members are so kind and welcoming. I’m proud to be a leader here,” he said with a grin, making me grin back at him. 

I already know we have a wonderful pack. They are very welcoming and generous. They love the pups in the pack just as much as they love their own pups. 

“I’m so glad to hear that, I wasn’t worried but I was just curious how she reacted when you left her.”

“She watched me go but smiled and waved as she started helping with everything, I think she’ll be okay,” he said softly, kissing my cheek before getting up with me in his arms. 

I squealed as I was lifted into the air, not used to this at all. 

“John! Put me down!” I said in shock, kicking my feet around. 

He laughed as he left my office, carrying me down towards our room. 

“Why would I do that? I want you and I’ll have you,” he said seriously, his eyes full of lust and hunger as he stared down at me. 

I groaned and threw my head backwards, loving the way that sounds right now. 

“Take me then…” I whispered, laughing as he began waking faster. 

He kicked our door closed as we walked inside, laying me down on the bed before flipping me over so my ass was facing him. 

Without warning he ripped my clothes off and thrusted his entire length inside of me with one motion, making me gasp and moan in ecstasy. 

He gripped my hips as he pounded into me from behind. 

The sounds of our skin slapping together all that could be heard. 

“John…” I moaned out, barely even able to say his name. 

“Yes?” He groaned, smacking my ass hard, “what do you need, baby?”

“I need you… to go faster-,” just as I said that he started to go at an ungodly speed, my breath catching in my throat. 

I gripped the sheets under me, burying my face in the bed to try and keep quiet.  

He gripped my hair, pulling my head back and making me gasp louder this time from the sharp sting. 

“Don’t hide your moans, I want to hear all of them,” he growled, his eyes flashing with the presence of Titan. 

I moaned louder, letting it all out as he demanded. 

Liking the way he is in the bedroom. 

He’s not so demanding and dominant outside of the bedroom…

I want him to dominate me more often…

He thrusted inside of me a few more times before he grunted, spilling his seed deep inside of me. 

He laid on top of me for a few minutes before he stood up, laying down beside me. 

“You feel so good,” he groaned, looking me in the eyes, “I’ll never get enough of you.”

I smiled before I leaned in and kissed his lips softly. 

“I like it more when we can kiss each other while doing that… but it definitely felt amazing either way,” I said breathlessly, still feeling high on lust. 

“About tomorrow… We should talk about marking each other. Do you want to do it in front of the pack or alone after it’s done? It’s up to us, either way we’ll do what we think is right. Who cares about what other people think or do? As long as you’re happy I am happy. And I want you to stay as close to me as possible, okay? I can’t have anything happening to you. Especially if we have less packs coming here. We need to be safe, no matter what. I can’t worry about you while we’re trying to enjoy ourselves. Just promise me you’ll stay close?” He said, sounding nervous and scared. 

“I’ll stay close to you, always. The whole time. I promise,” I whispered back. 

Staring directly into his eyes, feeling so much love for him. 

“I love you, John,” I said, not able to help myself, just needing to get that out there in the open. 

He looked at me for a minute, with a straight face. 

Before a huge smile took over, “I love you more, Bella. Seriously. I’ve been in love with you since the first day I saw you. I thought you were so beautiful and kind. The way you lead your people with compassion and kindness… it made me want to be a better person. I never thought I’d see the day where I was with you, let alone your second chance mate… but I couldn’t be more thankful. I’ll thank the goddess everyday for giving you to me, without you, I’d be nothing…” he said softly, putting his fingers under my chin and kissing me softly, tenderly…

With so much raw love it made tears fall from my eyes…

“John…” I whimpered, my lip wobbled from all of the emotions he was making me feel. 

“No, it’s okay. You don’t have to say anything, just know that you are the best thing that ever happened to me… you and Megan,” he mumbled before he pulled me into him, holding me tightly against his chest.
