Chapter 122
Kathy continues the story so both Seth and Grace get the understanding of how Kathy met Zack.
(Flash back part 2)
The rain was really coming down until the point it was flood some of the street, Kathy off her coat and hang it up and put her wet umbrella in the corner and head back into the unused food to see the man sitting up in the chair.
“Hello, sir I brought you some clean clothes, I need you to get out of those wet clothes before you get sick,”
“Why did you help me?”
“I didn’t want my boss, to call the police to have you remove plus it’s pouring down outside. You are a werecat, right?
“How did you know?”
Kathy offered a small, reassuring smile. “Just say my boss don’t know that some of supernatural come here to party at night, that why his sales are high. Look, here’s some clothes—the bathroom is over there. Once you come out, we can talk some more,” she said, handing him the clean bundle and nodding toward the restroom door.
The gentleman came out of the bathroom with clean and dry clothes and drying his hair with a towel as she gives him something hot to drink and warm up the food.
“What is your name?”
“It’s Zack,”
“Explain how you got injury,”
Kathy listens to Zack of how he ends all the way here and got injury. It’s odd because Werecats will be with their kind and stay will be hidden plus this is the first time she sees one.
“I have a job for you. I will pay you to be my bodyguard,”
“Me as your bodyguard,”
“Yes, at the same time you can lived with your family or whatever,”
“Sure, I will take it,”
“Good,”
From that day forward, Zack became Kathy's bodyguard. She made sure he had everything he needed, even providing him with his own small apartment that he could use whenever he wanted. Occasionally, Zack would return home to take care of his family, but he always kept his phone close at hand, ready to respond if Kathy needed him.

“Kathy you are telling me that Zack been your bodyguards for years. Why did my men sense him?”
“Dad, listen I just tell Zack stay hidden enough that I can called on him if I need him,”
“What about the day that you save Prince Anthony?”
“Zack was on a mission at that time. I do sometime to called him to get some information for me. Oh, that remains. Here is that DNA from that vampire who was here from last night.”
Kathy hand it to her father so he could test with Melody DNA then she looks at her mother who was looking at her, then smiles at her because Grace knows about Melody result due for Seth couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Then a fire fae appear on her shoulder.
“Kathy didn’t tell you the rest either of how she knows about the supernatural,”
“Miss I be leaving thank you for the coffee,”
“Zack, keep an eye on him for me,”
“Yes, miss,”
Zack headed toward the back door, his posture calm and alert. Kathy subtly extended her hand, channeling her power to unlock and swing the door open just as he reached it. With a nod of thanks, Zack slipped outside, and Kathy closed the door quietly behind him. A moment later, Zack shifted seamlessly into his sleek cat form, disappearing into the wood. Before anyone had the chance to comment, the sudden sharp cries of the babies rang out, drawing everyone's attention away from the door.
“Let get those babies, they need to be change and feed,”
Once the babies were changed, Kathy, Grace and Seth gently carried them to their table and settled them into their chairs. Kathy began preparing their breakfast, cracking eggs and scrambling them with care, while Grace assisted by pouring juice into their cups. Kathy sliced bananas into small pieces and arranged them on plates, making sure everything was easy for the babies to eat. Seth kept the little ones entertained, sitting in front of them and playfully waving their favorite toys to hold their attention.
The ladies carefully bring the babies' plates over to their table and place them in front of each child. Before they begin eating, Kathy gently ties on their bibs, making sure they're secure. With bright eyes and eager hands, the babies start digging into their food, giggling as they savor each bite.
“Kathy, why do we go shopping together?”
“I don’t know?”
“Come on, I want to spend mother and daughter day at least ones,”
“Alright,”
“Yes, don’t worry their nannies will come and watch them, plus it’s good for you and your mother to bond,” Seth reassured, offering a warm smile. Kathy glanced at the babies, then at Grace, her expression softening as she considered the idea.
Anthony P.O.V
Anthony walked downstairs, his steps slow but purposeful, sunlight spilling through the dining room windows and warming the polished table. His parents were already there, the morning routine unfolding quietly. Lord Frances took a sip of his orange juice, pausing thoughtfully before setting the glass down and preparing to speak. Anthony slid into his seat, feeling the gentle welcome of the peaceful morning as he glanced at his parents, ready to begin the day together.
“Anthony, your birthday is coming up?”
“I didn’t know, this is the first time I ever celebrated my birthday,”
“How about you in visit Miles and Sharon over to celebrate with us?” said Lord Frances
“I would like that,”
After the birthday plans were discussed, Anthony turned his attention back to his responsibilities as the head of his company. He managed most tasks remotely, spending hours at his computer, but occasionally took the private jet to New Jersey for important matters that required his signature or personal oversight. As he reviewed the sales reports, he felt reassured knowing everything was running smoothly in his absence.
Anthony started to consider the future of the business and wondered if it might be best to hand over the company to Miles, since Miles lived closer and could more easily handle day-to-day operations. The thought lingered as Anthony weighed his options, thinking about what would be best for both himself and the company moving forward. Max talk to his human side.
“I missed mate and our pups”
“I know, me too. I wish we can see them,”
“The moon goddess really testing us to see how far we can go. I will have one of my went to report to us. How are she and our pups doing?”
Anthony followed through on his plan, sending one of his trusted men to Kathy's home to keep an eye on her and report back about her and the pups. Meanwhile, Anthony dedicated more time to assisting his father with matters of the kingdom, as well as helping various packs resolve the issues they faced. Balancing these responsibilities gave him a renewed sense of purpose and connection to his family and community.
