The nannies came over to Kathy home to watch the babies while she is with her mother shopping. Leon, Kai, Melody are happy to see their nannies after finishing their breakfast, eating their snack as Kathy putting her hair into a ponytail, kissing each baby on the forehead as she putting on her shoes and heading out of the door.
“Their lunches, milk is in the fridge. My number is on the counter if you need anything. See ya later,”
“Don’t worry my lady, they are in great hand. You have fun,”
Once the door closed her bodyguard who still in his jaguar form look up at her. She pats his head as about to walked to her parents house.
“Guard the house and people in the house. I will return home later,”
Zack licked her hand and went back to sit on the porch as he sees Kathy walking down the road, the sun is nice, and the weather is not either too hot or cold but just right. While walking down the road, her cellphone starts ringing in her hand, she picks it up not checking the caller ID. Kathy puts it in her Bluetooth to hear the person talk on the phone.
“Hello?”
A warm, familiar voice came through the Bluetooth. “Kathy, I got your orders for the water tanks,” the caller said, sounding efficient yet friendly. “Just wanted to confirm the delivery address and see if you needed anything else added to the order.”
“Oh, yes Mr. Brown, I want to say thank you. It’s my father-in-law—his people on his land need clean drinking water, and they don’t want any wells since there are children running around. I told them about the water tanks that can be installed throughout their house. It’s much safer for the kids, and everyone will have easy access to fresh water.”
“How long will it take? I need the prices so I can give them to my father-in-law, unless you’d prefer to talk to him yourself,” Kathy added, her tone both practical and inviting.
“I will send him the invoice of the pricing,”
“Do you have paper around you? I can give you his number,”
Kathy give Mr. Brown, Frances number so he can talk to her father-in-law, once she hang up, just getting walking down the road to see her mother waiting for her. She wave to her mother who turn around to see her daughter walking toward her. Kathy didn’t see her father anywhere and smile at her mother.
“Where is that old man?” asked Kathy
“I swear you just love to called your father, old man to tick him off,” said Grace
“Yes, because he is a 1,000-year-old vampire, plus he is getting grey in his hair,”
“You know your grandfather is old too. What about him?”
“Well grandpa look young even the young ladies want to marry him,”
“I swear, I think you are jealous of your mother marry to a vampire,”
“Mother, I will be jealous of you. I missed my lycan mate, he is okay and living with his parents,”
Seth came walking downstairs to see the Grace and Kathy talking with a smile on his face then something ran across his mind. He did bit of research on his daughter, how she been working all her left even since she was a teenager and being saving money. She even works for supernatural. Seth is Kathy turning her head and smiles at him.
“Hello father, mother and I was about to leave,”
“Before you two leave take my card, Kathy quit calling me old man I can hear you. When you two come back we have to talk,” said Seth
“Of course, father,”
The driver pulled up as Grace was about to get into the car. Kathy opened the driver door because she wanted to drive. Seth nodded his head and the driver got out of the car, allowing Kathy to slip into the driver's seat.
“Mom come and sit in the front seat with me,”
Grace grabbed Seth's card and slipped it into her purse as she walked over to the passenger side and got inside. Kathy waved her hand out of the window, grinning. As Kathy drove, her mother gazed quietly out the window, a gentle smile spreading across her face—she was truly happy to have her mother back by her side.
