I yawn sitting up on the bed.
Looking out through the window, it's so bright probably mid-morning, I overslept again.
Am I gonna go back to school or just consider homeschooling as lily had suggested?
Aiden is not in bed and it seems like he never slept here. He is mad at me and I regret not being open with him.
How can I blame my dad for keeping secrets yet am doing the same thing to Aiden?
I peel the covers from my body and unlike last time, am fresh as new. Am not sore anywhere rather I feel energised.
It is amazing being a wolf.
If I was human, I wouldn't be walking right now considering all the naughty stuff we did yesterday.
Aiden is a very sinful wolf, and he's rubbing it on me.
I swing my legs on the cool tiled floor heading to the bathroom. I have a lot to do, first meet my brother and my friends because they must be wondering where I went.
Then I have to meet Athena also Tony is coming today. To add to that, I need to find a way to find my mother.
Stressful right?
I don't take long in the bathroom. After drying myself and applying body lotion, I put on a simple short white dress and white slides.
Am used to having ornaments on me, so I add three rings on my fingers, and a single necklace before tying my hair in a French braid.
"Sis" Tyler's voice calls from the bedroom and I wonder if he will someday walk on us doing stuff.
I ignore him but hurry out to find him sitting on the couch near the large windows.
I love this room, more so its owner.
"Ty, hi," I say walking to him
"Where have you been? I haven't seen you in ages?"
He stands up to hug me "Men!, you get beautiful every day" he whistles checking me out and I slap him at the back of his head.
"Let's just go, have you seen Lily anywhere?" I ask leading the way and he quickly follows still rubbing where I hit him.
Drama, drama.
"Who is that, is she hot?" he asks enthusiastically sidestepping me and I chuckle.
"She has a mate brother," I say laughing at the look on his face. He's never serious.
"Dad wanted me to get you, he's in Aiden's office," he tells me.
Opening the door, am met with the grinning faces of my friends and I return the gesture.
I missed them.
"You should tell us when you travel mel, we missed you" lily engulfs me in a hug followed by her brother.
"Hey Liam," I say hugging him a bit tighter.
"You smell different" he observes scrunching his face and staring at me sceptically.
I lift my arm to inhale my armpit " It's the perfume I used, I haven't worn it since I purchased it last year in France" I tell him but they both look at me like am speaking rubbish.
"Forget the perfume mel" lily inhales deeply " you reek of alpha and your human scent changed"
Well, what do I say?

"Also, you are emitting a kind of power, a stronger power. What happened to you?" Liam asks looking at me up and down.
I look at their faces and they are expectantly waiting for me to say something.
"Come on guys, it's because she mated with Aiden," my brother says holding my hand and I sigh out of relief.
He's the only person who takes everything lightly, may danger never find my little brother.
Right now is not the time to go into details about where I was. I pray they won't hate me like Aiden is doing right now.
I felt like shit yesterday seeing the disappointment in his eyes. I should have trusted him, I only revealed the truth to him after begging Athena.
She hasn't permitted me to tell anyone else, so I will just lay low for a while because eventually, they'll find out.
"If you say so, come on," lily says taking my other hand "I have a lot to tell you," she says excitedly forgetting about our recent conversation.
Whatever it is she wanna say, must be really good.
The look on Liam's face tells me he's not convinced and I know he'll approach me later.
"Dad wants to see her first" Tyler grumbles stopping us.
Right, there is probably a meeting in the aidens office that am required to attend.
I can't ignore the problems on the ground and the sooner we get over with it, the better.
"I will call you when am done okay?" I ask her and she nods, her mood becoming gloomy.
"Hey, I won't take long I promise" I squeeze her hand lightly and she offers a small understanding smile.
What is wrong with her? I don't remember Lily being this clingy.
"Okay" she mumbles walking off and we exchange looks with Liam.
"Is she okay?" I ask him with concern.
"She's been acting weird since yesterday, I don't know what's wrong with her" he sighs looking at the disappearing form of his sister.
I knock on Aiden's door and open it after he mumbles a come in.
I hope he's not mad anymore, I hate it when he's not talking to me.
My father is sitting on the couch with Carl, while Aiden is behind his desk, his face buried in the files.
He doesn't look up even though he knows I'm here.
It breaks my heart to see him acting this way, maybe that's why he barely slept the previous night.
After our intimate moments, he lulled me to sleep and left the room thinking I was sleeping.
Since then, am seeing him now and he's giving me a cold shoulder.
I ignore the bad feeling in my heart and walk to my dad.
The man looks stressed and in deep thought, it's my fault, everything happening around here is because of me.
"Dad" I call sitting next to him and he lifts his head to look at me.
It feels like a funeral is happening in this room.
"Hey sweetheart," he says with a fake smile. I know he's worried about his sister
I drape my arms around his neck and he quickly holds me back burying his nose in my hair.
" We will find her okay?" I mumble and he hums in reply.
He doesn't believe me, my dad is losing hope.
"Who will we find?" Tyler asks sitting on the other side of the chair so our dad is in the middle.
"Later, son" father says breaking the hug.
"Hi, carl" I wave at him and he nods at me with a sad smile.
Fuck, everyone around is worried and it keeps eating me inside.
The alpha king wants me, and if I just turn myself to him, he'll let everyone go.
He will have no threat, meaning he won't be kidnapping pack members to make them soldiers anymore.
He won't hurt anyone I love anymore.
I can end all this by just accepting my fate.
I look in my mate's direction and he's already looking at me.
He won't be stressed anymore.
Should I just be mean and leave?
