"Tony" I call out to the man walking ahead of us.

"Yes dear" he stops causing my dad to stop too and they look at me expectantly.

He leads us to his home and his daughter is not anywhere Insight which is a relief.

Aiden and dad get a change of clothes and we immediately head off. Athena won't let me breathe without a constant reminder that we are in danger that's why we don't even freshen up.

The journey home was uneventful and Aiden already had his men at the airport to pick us up.

When we entered his pack, it was discreetly in order not to raise attention to his pack members. They'll obviously ask questions, especially my brother and I won't know how to explain the mess.

"I will just take a shower" I whisper to him when we enter his room and I begin trudging to the bathroom but he holds my hand to stop me.

"No way am letting you go in there alone, am coming too," Aiden says and I laugh remembering I was supposedly taking shower when Athena took me.

"Okay, babe, let's go then" I drag him with me chuckling.

I can only imagine the dilemma he experienced when he opened those doors and found no one.

He closes the bathroom door behind us and my nerves start rocketing again.

He continues kissing up to my jaw and finally, he grabs my chin to direct my head to his and kisses my lips.

"Shower or bathtub?" He whispers in my ears and it sends shivers directly down my spine. This man knows how to get me without even trying.

"Shower" I croak out not even sure if that's what I want.

Aiden unzips my jacket making it slide down on the floor and he growls when he finds me without any undergarments.

"Were you like this all the while?" He whispers in my ear hugging me back from behind and his thumbs hover above my nipples but he does not touch them.

"My clothes were ruined when I shifted," I say breathing hard. I feel desire clouding my every sense and am yearning for his touch.
