Chapter 65

Chapter 65

Matt wore a custom-made black suit, followed by men in suits, his presence commanding attention.

"Do I look too serious?" Matt asked Gian beside him.

He felt like the customers in the mall seemed to be avoiding him.

"Matt, since when did you start reflecting on yourself?" Gian joked with Matt.

Sim muttered under his breath, "Probably since he met Susie."

Sim added with a smile, "Now Matt even wants to appear approachable."

"That's really something."

"I wonder if I'll run into my little wildcat later," Matt murmured.

Hearing Matt's words, Gian couldn't help but glance at his watch.

"If I remember correctly, we just separated less than fifteen minutes ago," Gian complained to Sim.

"I think when it comes to Susie, you shouldn't argue with Matt. If he gets upset, you'll probably never see that blonde of yours again," Sim reminded Gian.

Gian protested, "Who says I need to see her again?"

"Because when that blonde girl was mentioned today, your eyes kept darting around. So I'm guessing you have a pretty good impression of her, or maybe her performance last night was quite satisfying," Sim analyzed calmly with Gian.

Hearing Sim's words, Gian let out a soft snort, "How ridiculous. Since when did you learn this damn analysis?"

"The fire safety system here needs to be replaced."

Behind them, while the two were arguing, Matt's eyes fell on an expired fire extinguisher.

"Oh, that's really important for the mall," Sim said.

"I'll call the mall manager right now."

Matt's expression turned cold.

"Looks like the manager of this mall has been slacking off lately," Matt said in an icy voice.

Soon, the mall manager rushed over and stood before Matt with his head lowered.

Perhaps Matt's presence was too intimidating, as the mall manager was so scared he barely dared to breathe.

"I think I need to suspend you for reflection," Matt said coldly to the man.

The man's body trembled slightly, even forgetting to defend himself.

"Alright, I think we should go check the next set of fire safety equipment," Matt said slowly.

Gian looked at Sim and whispered, "I think Matt seems angry."

"I'm even starting to hope we run into Miss Susie soon, because then Matt would tone down his temper."

At a clothing store.

Susie was trying on a black mermaid-style dress.

Looking at the sexy and alluring Susie, Nick sighed, "No wonder it's hard not to like such a little wildcat. So I think I can understand Matt now."

"So, does this dress look good?" Susie asked with a smile at the men shopping with her.

"I don't think any dress could look bad on you," Nick said to Susie with a smile.

After being complimented, Susie was in a great mood. She smiled at the shop assistant, "Alright, please wrap this dress for me."

Walking out of the women's clothing store, she saw a crowd gathered around a pillar not far away.

"Oh, what's happening over there?" Susie's eyes lit up.

"If I'm not mistaken, that handsome figure should be Matt," Susie said happily.

"Matt and I really are in sync. Even without planning ahead, we can still meet in such a big mall."

Susie said excitedly, then slowly walked over.

She saw Matt with a stern face while the people around him had their heads lowered.

"Oh, Miss Susie, you're finally here."

Finally, Gian spotted Susie in the crowd, like seeing a savior.

"Matt doesn't look happy," Susie asked Gian in a low voice.

"I think it's because of the fire safety equipment. Matt got really angry and even fired a floor manager just now," Gian said to Susie in a low voice.

"Miss Susie, I think right now, besides you, no one else can cheer Matt up," Gian sighed.

"I'll try, but I'm not sure I can cheer him up," Susie replied.

"Matt." Susie stepped forward.

Matt, who was checking the fire safety equipment, suddenly felt warmth in his palm.

Turning his head, he saw his little wildcat blinking at him.

"Oh, my little wildcat, why are you looking at me like that?"

Sure enough, Matt's tone softened immediately.

"I think you must be tired. I just found a nice restaurant upstairs. Want to try it together?"

Matt glanced at his watch, "Sorry, my little wildcat, for making you wait on an empty stomach. Let's go have lunch."

Gian and Sim looked at each other, completely surprised at how quickly Matt could change his mood.

"Okay, I promise that the restaurant will satisfy you."

Susie smiled and held Matt's hand, walking toward the restaurant.

"I think we can breathe easy now, at least for now," Sim said to Gian.

"We even underestimated Miss Susie's importance to Matt," Gian muttered quietly.

He couldn't help gossiping with the men who had been shopping with Susie, "Tell me, how relaxed were you guys just now, so I can be jealous."

The men looked at each other, "At least it was fun."

At the restaurant upstairs, Sim had already arranged to clear the place.

So now there was only their table in the restaurant.

Sim watched Matt helping Susie choose dishes and couldn't help sighing, "I think Matt must have two personalities living inside him."

Gian smiled and leaned closer to Sim, "If you were in love too, I think you'd understand how Matt feels right now."

"Oh, what kind of ridiculous statement is that?"

"You think everyone's like you, randomly finding a blonde for a one-night stand?"

Seeing Sim's serious expression, Gian said with a smile, "Oh, I didn't expect you to be such a romantic, Sim."

"Alright, stop arguing. Look at the menu and see what you want to eat," Susie handed over the menu.
