“I think we should go separately, we can’t let them suspect that we went out together.” I said to Theo and he nodded 
“Yeah, you’re right. Do you want to leave first? I’ll get you a car and I’ll join you later.” he chimed in.
All right, but I’m going to miss you. I feel like spending the whole night here with you.” I retorted while he smiled.
“Trust me, I want it more than you do but for now, we can’t have that. We just have ti make do with what we have for the time being.” He replied while I rolled my eyes. 
“And when will that be? Can’t we just walk up to them in the morning and tell them we’d like to be together instead? I mean, what’s the worst thing they can do to us? They can’t kill us after all.” I whined while he smiled and pulled me into a hug.
“You’re such an innocent baby. We can’t just walk up to them and announce that the wedding isn’t happening. You’ve tried that before and I’m sure you remember how it played out. There’s obviously more yo this thing than they’re letting on. So unless we have a good proof to counter their intentions, there’s nothing we can do. And about the question of whether they can do more than kill us? Believe me when I saw that there are several ways to hurt someone and sometimes, death is even an easy route. At least, it ends the story but when other things are involved.” He explained with detail and I was forced to think that he knows something that I don’t. How does he know them that well despite being away for so long. 
“You know it sounds like you know more than me, the fiancé,” I teased and he winked at me.
“This is my family we’re talking about. I know what they’re capable of.” He chimed in and I nodded.
“I still have questions but I’ll ask them later. It is late already, we should getting,” I said and he went ahead to get me a ride. 
He stayed behind while we went on our way but throughout the drive home, my whole thought was on Theo and I. Being with Matt is so tiring. We barely even talk unless he wants to sleep with me. That’s the only time he remembers that we are engaged and supposed to be spending quality time together. I don’t just understand how on earth he thinks that would work.
I finally got home and I was happy Matt’s mom wasn’t in sight. She would have delayed me with questions and probably updates about her meeting with the planner. 
I went upstairs into the room and seeing it was empty, I was so happy. At least, I don’t have to worry about Matt. 
I went into the bathroom, got under the shower and had the best time of my life. I was switching from one album to the other. When I was finally tired, I stopped and dressed up for the night.
I got in the bed, shut my eyes but I couldn’t sleep. The more I tried to force myself, the more wide my eyes got. 
Eventually, I sat up and an idea popped in my head. Without a second thought, I quickly got out of bed and made my way to Theo’s room. I made sure I didn’t make a sound so we don’t get caught.
“What are you doing here?” He asked half-asleep whike I quickly shushed him. 
“No one heard or saw me so we’re cool.” I retorted and then jumped into the bed with him. 
“I couldn’t sleep, I miss you so I decided to come here.” I chimed in. 
“I couldn’t sleep too, I had to force myself but not too long ago. Don’t worry, if not for anything I’ll get to work to work on it immediately.” He retorted.
“You better do or I might just wake up in the morning and ring the bell to the whole world.” I teased and he laughed.
“And what if I dare you to. I’d like to see you try.” He teased too.
“You’re a naughty boy and I’ll punish you for saying that. Get over here.” I ordered and he obeyed like a little boy. 
We got into each other arms and started making out, and by the time we knew afar was going on, we already made love. 
When we were done, we curled back up in each other’s arms.
“Don’t you think you should go back to your room now? Matt can come back anytime soon.” He whispered to me and I chuckled.
“Trust me, he’s not. He’s provably having so much fun with one of his numerous girl right now and I know him well. He’s not leaving that to come home to me.” I said firmly.
“And yet, it seems like you’re not so happy about that. Are you jealous? Or do you wish you’re the girl he’s with?” He asked and I burst into laughter.
“Don’t do that please. I just want everything to be over with already and I can finally live my life the way I want it.” I said.
“Right on him. I will see what I can do about it. But I still think you should go. Matt can be unpredictable at times.” He insisted and I looked in his eyes, wanting to know if he genuinely wanted me gone because he cared or he was just done and needed his space back to him.
“There’s no need to do that. I’d make love to you all night and never let you take a step outside. We just need to do this the proper way.” He chimed in and I nodded.
As I wanted to get off the bed, he pulled me back and pressed a long deep kiss on my lips. He finally let go and I slowly made my way out.
I got back into the room, and it was still empty but this time, I didn’t have to wait before I slept. 
The second my body hit the bed, I slept right off…
