Chapter 29: Rainer Entertainment is Kicked Out of the Entertainment Industry

"What kind of crappy company is Rainer Entertainment? They actually forced Lilian to attend such a low-level event. The CEO must be an idiot!"

"Yeah, Rainer Entertainment can't even plan for their artists properly. Let us do it instead. Even elementary school students could do better than them!"

"Lilian, Lilian, whatever you endorse next, I'll buy it because I have money."

Hillary was furious as she read these overwhelmingly negative comments online and threw her TV remote aside. She never expected that Lilian would use this method to please the public - by rebelling against the unfair treatment from her own company and expressing her disdain for standing on stage with inferior products.

Hillary snorted in disgust at this uncontrollable Lilian who seemed to be less and less likable to her every day!

Most importantly, Lilian announced that she was making a comeback?

An outdated model like her made such a high-profile announcement about returning to the industry?

Hillary sneered repeatedly; at least while Lilian was still under Rainer Entertainment's management there was no way this could happen! This was Hillary's territory - she might lose but others couldn't win either.

Brent burst into the office feeling agitated after being stimulated by all of this news. He saw Hillary sitting in her chair and walked up to stand beside the floor-to-ceiling window with his hands on his hips.

"Brent, aren't you going to find a way to clarify things through press releases? Lilian has already pushed all responsibility onto our heads! What does she mean thanking us for arranging events when we didn't?"

Lilian herself didn’t know anything about it nor did she receive any respect from anyone else. However, Hillary was completely unaware of this and only knew that she would never show mercy if there was a chance to trample on Lilian.

"Brent, release the statement and tell everyone that Lilian contacted us for cooperation in order to make money. The company has no responsibility whatsoever."

Brent was extremely angry because Rainer Entertainment had been blackened by Lilian's actions. He immediately brought his own public relations team together to compile an emotional declaration.

The statement emphasized repeatedly that the event wasn't arranged by the company but rather it was voluntary on Lilian's part - directly accusing her of lying!

It also mentioned the highest punishment for model Lilian from their company since she damaged its reputation and messed up the event stage. It insinuated that most of these problems were caused by her personal behavior.

This kind of statement from Rainer Entertainment made it clear to everyone what they wanted: to hide away Lilian forever and sever all ties with her...

Moreover, Brent arranged for people from their company to come out and accept interviews.

"Oh, you're talking about Lilian? There's nothing much to say except that she is two-faced compared with what you see on TV!"

However, Brent completely underestimated today’s announcement where Lillian refused inferior products which led many people falling into his trap again. Nevertheless, Lillian’s popularity today could definitely not be compared with yesterday's.

She was like a mountain that rose rapidly in various ways.

Just when Rainer Entertainment was spreading rumors and claiming that Lilian had lowly means, causing the company to be shamed, an authoritative media outlet suddenly released several audio clips. After listening to them, people realized that Rainer Entertainment was simply a black-hearted workshop!

Not only did they intentionally hide Lilian away but they also arranged such a low-level event for her. They made Lilian act as a substitute and take the blame while being humiliated by netizens - yet Rainer Entertainment still refused to stop!

What surprised people even more was that the person who ordered others not to give any work opportunities to Lilian turned out to be Hillary - the third-rate model herself...

On his way home from work Kevin looked at today's headline news and gradually began admiring Lilian while even Jason praised her: "Madam is really amazing."
