Chapter 20 Brent's Choice

Kevin stopped Lilian by her waist and pulled her close to him, pressing his muscular chest against hers. He whispered dangerously in her ear, "So will you marry me?"

"I admit that I was blind before, but now I am sure of my direction... You are my direction," Lilian murmured.

Kevin flipped over and pressed Lilian under him. With his ink-black eyes fixed on her seriously, he said: "I can hardly control myself anymore... But it's not enough. Although we have registered early, I still hope that after getting to know me as a person, you will be sure that you want to spend your life with me and we mutually recognize each other... Then we can truly have each other."

"This circle is colorful and has everything I want except for pure sincerity."

"Then let's work together towards a goal, walk the same path and live the same kind of life," Lilian responded earnestly. "I really didn't expect Mr. Alexander at the top of the entertainment industry to not want a carefree life. I thought...you could have multiple wives and concubines; haven't you ever been tempted?"

"When women ask this kind of question, they generally cannot answer honestly... Just respond with a passionate kiss." Kevin finished speaking before kissing Lilian deeply because an intimate kiss would make lovers forget their troubles; moreover, because of Kevin's embrace tonight,Lilian slept soundly.

Compared with Lilian’s happiness,Brent’s days were difficult because although Hillary had thrown out the request for Hillary to leave Rainer Entertainment,Hillary was pregnant with his child,and she also held plenty of negative news on both sides which made it impossible for either side to offend.

With mixed feelings,Brent drove back to his apartment only to see Hillary sitting low on the sofa.His heart sank too.

"Brent..." Hillary cried and threw herself into his arms, holding onto his waist tightly. "What should I do? Am I not cut out to be a model?"

"Hillary...how about you go abroad for a while to have the baby? When our baby is born, you can come back. At that time, I promise to treat you like before and make you famous."

Hillary stiffened when she heard Brent's words and immediately understood what he meant: "You want me to go abroad? How could you let me go abroad? Brent, are you planning on sacrificing me? Let me tell you,I'm not as foolish as Lilian;I won't believe your nonsense.I definitely won't leave,and besides...Brent,don’t forget that there’s your child in my belly.I’ve been your lover for so many years.Do you really want to kick me away with one foot?"

"I don't mean it like that..."

"Brent,you need to think clearly.Who do you really want to spend the rest of your life with? Do you love Lilian?"

"Of course I only love You! Only You!" Brent said painfully,"But Lilian has set conditions.If You don’t leave Rainer Entertainment,she won’t marry Me."

"Even if You marry her,you may not get everything from The Moore Family!" Hillary analyzed seriously,"The Moore family doesn't care about Lilian anymore.What can she get even if she returns later on ?Do You really want nothing after all this effort ?Being Your daughter-in-law means being under someone else's control for the rest of Your life.Is this what You want?"

"Brent,you need to think carefully...Do You choose Me or Lilian？As long as You say the word,I'll go straight to the hospital and abort this child.I’ll leave Rainer Entertainment and never appear again." Brent didn't answer and stood still. Hillary immediately took out her phone and called her assistant, "Arrange a hospital for me, I need to have an abortion..."

"What are you doing?" Brent snatched the phone from her hand. "Don't be so impulsive. Did I say I wouldn't choose you?"

Hillary was overjoyed when she heard this. "So you're choosing me?"

"You're the one I love the most. If you want to have an abortion with our baby, how can I stop you? These years, I've always protected you. Can't you see that?" Brent made up his mind to settle things with Lilian but unfortunately, he couldn't ignore The Moore Family's background. However, as Hillary said, no one knows what will happen in the end. He couldn't give up on Hillary and their unborn child because of something intangible.

"I knew it; You treat me best." Hillary smiled through tears and gave Brent a big hug. "I'll definitely give birth to a son for you so your sister, your brother-in-law and your mother will all be happy."

"Don’t cause any more trouble for me; that’s all I ask for," Brent replied while hugging her back tightly."Stay off social media and don’t listen to those online criticisms too much either - these kinds of news stories blow over quickly anyway although they may affect the Top 10 Model Awards selection somewhat but...the award values professionalism above everything else so we shouldn’t give up just yet."

"I'll do as you say but there's one thing that YOU must listen to!" Hillary pulled Brent down onto the sofa beside her."Keep ignoring Lilian like before; she's acting high-and-mighty now because she just landed an endorsement deal which makes her feel confident enough to go against us."

"But..."

"Rainer Entertainment doesn’t lack models; finding another model is easy. We can't let her go either, otherwise she'll definitely seek revenge when she gets the chance. So we’ll keep dragging her down and hiding her until three to five years have passed and she's too old to make a comeback."

"But...Lilian has high popularity and good reputation now."

"That’s even easier! When she comes back from Paris this time, you assign her a commercial platform with low-end and disgusting brands that will immediately ruin her image." Hillary suggested.

Brent looked at Hillary; he knew what she was suggesting was extreme but he couldn’t refuse her. He could only nod his head in agreement: "I'll do as you say..."

"And all those who want to collaborate with Lilian? We reject them all, claiming that Lilian is unwilling to accept."

Brent hugged Hillary tightly again while kissing the center of her forehead. This time, he really wanted to end things with Lilian once and for all so after it's done, Lilian would just be Rainer Entertainment's contracted model for another three years. As Hillary said, Brent couldn't let Lilian become famous again or else risk giving her an opportunity for revenge against them - so he had no choice but continue stepping on Lilian underfoot.
